Nice one.
Does the guy go on a shooting spree later in that movie?
This one is a contender for the finest scene ever crafted.

I know it's a cliche but I still think Manhattan has a great opening.
Vince Gilligan decided to use this on BCS.
And plebs still believe BB is better.
For me at least, Raging Bull is my favorite movie opening.

Nolan at finest.
This clip doesn't show the entire intro but it does a perfect job of introducing the protagonist and the mood of the film.
Drive has not the ebst opeing but the best opeing credits in the last 10 years.

Also in Abel Gance's Napoleon where we see young Bonaparte giving orders in a snowball fight. Can't find very good video of that, though.
>was going to say Catch Me If You Can
>realized it's been well over 10 years since it came out
fuck ME
Now that's a good pick, loved that movie.
Not a lot of movies give me a disturbed feeling but this one got to me.
Should give it a second watch
right here, famaloni
I was going to post this.
In all honest and seriousness, I definitely wouldn't call it the best movie opening or my favorite but, (thanks to the site) it's certainly the one I'll be the least likely to forget.
I swear, I could end up an old guy with Alzheimer's in a nursing home and if I overheard someone said, "(you're/she's/he's) a big x" I bet my brain (and maybe my mouth as well) would automatically go, "FOR YOU"
It has to be mentioned at least once.
Blade.
That Rob Zombie Darude mashup when Wesley Snipes is chopping down vampires with his katana.
incredible movie with one of my favourite performances of all time
I just watched Raging Bull for the first time last week, I find it amazing how much it really looks like a film made in the 40's/50's
Yeah that shit's going to be stuck with me for at least another decade or so
also the plane scene (despite it's funny dialogue) is actually really well made from a technical standpoint
My all time favourite:
>i wasnt looking at you this whole time. i was looking at the sexy nigga to your right

I forgot how fucking intense the whole beginning of that movie was
Right? Right?
So good.
Did you avoid The Good, The bad and the ugly because you thought it was cliche?
