That is literally half an hour you have to endure on the edge without blinking. I don't feel like that anymore on films. It's so obvious they are gonna win, I barely see any tension or panic nowadays. And if there is it's usually followed by long breathing calm scenes so it's like a kids rollercoaster more than like a freefall.

I liked Armageddon more but Deep Impact scared me as a little kid because the things happening looked realistic, anyhow the scene were Liv Tyler says goodbye to her dad made me tear up.
