Perhaps "puppet government" is a bit of hyperbole, but you know what I mean. Of course it's a mix of some people being outright planted, some bought, some just working for their interest, some working for companies aligned with NATO through proxies, etc.

It always amazes me the level of confidence of competences the general anti West is willing to give to Western powers. Well I guess this is always the same story line when it comes to conspiracy theorizing. The malignant party must be very competent in order for the story to make sense.

You don't have to be competent at all, you just have to finance a lot of organizations and make a lot of deals, something that an economically stronger country does by default to weaker countries, everything else moves on its own.
