I feel as though I have fake memories of living there. There's something about the old wood besides the window, the thick blankets, the old books against the wall. Maybe it's the drugs, but I swear to god that I am experiencing a memory that isn't there: in this fake memory, this bedroom belongs to a girl. I am either dating this girl or am just a friend of hers. Either way, the room isn't mine, but I can smell the wood- I can smell the trees, I can smell the outside, I can even smell exactly what it smells like and I know exactly how it sounds like to have the window open when it's raining.

All of these are things I have experienced in my life, except they're all coming together in some kind of cozy fantasy.
