Being a Child from the 90s. i must say he had some potential. He had the same vocals sound as good charlotte. He also had a little bit of storytelling as well with a few of his sounds that he did not mumble nonsense.
His earlier stuff was trash, imo. His last album hand a few good songs that showed he had potential.

Lil Peep was something different, if you listen to his earlier sound you will see that he was inspired by SESH, Bones and Rozz Dyliams a bit sometimes.. Later he created his own "newgothemo" sound which you can hear on most of his later 15' to 16' music. His music was best few months after he created his own style, after blewing up and with bigger fanbase his music went to "mainstream" sound in my opinion - maintaining his "newgothemo" sound
