Come bless your friends with the generosity within your heart
The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem - Eight Classic Albums + Live at Carnegie Hall
>essential Irish folk, very accessible, Bob Dylan's favorite-core
I'd recommend starting with Come Fill Your Glass With Us or The Boys Won't Leave the Girls Alone, but they're all pretty good (especially the live albums)
reccing this shit so hard. blues that will change your life. no son house or robert johnson blues here. only the most soft sung virtuosic fingerpicking you can find
Cooper Hernandez
Does anybody have Brick Body Kids Still Daydream by Open Mike Eagle? 320 is fine
Adam Collins
Rites of Spring - End on End (1991)
>post hardcore, trve emo, vox by Guy Picciotto of Fugazi
The guys that gave us Gone Guru, back again with a double album. It feels a little more straight-laced this time around, but there's a lot of goodness packed into these two discs.
Kingston Wall - King Size Box 8CD -v0 >Psychedelic Rock >I, II, Trilogy, Real Live Thing, Trilogy Alternate Mix, Live Bonus Tracks. >sample: youtube.com/watch?v=VNplrZZm5d0
Various Artists - Africa Raps (2001) 320kbps >Hip Hop compilation from Senegal, Mali and Gambia. Mostly interesting, but unironically good at some points
Billie the Vision & The Dancers - The World According to Pablo (2005) 192kbps >Pop, Indie. One of my favourite albums of all time, criminally underrated imo
Ernest Bloch - America; An Epic Rhapsody (1929) 320kbps >Orchestral work by swiss-born Ernest Bloch about the history of the United States. Not sure if the recording matches the cover.
Omg I love the Clancy's and I never see them posted here!
Camden Barnes
13 Bar Blues by Noah Sterba (2017)
>combo of folk, rock, blues, punk, and country influences oh my >such a lofi sound that I thought it was nore than a decade old >fucking great guitar and lyrics
here you go love K. C. Halafoff & Peter Bruce - The Lyrebird A Documentary Study of Its Song (1966) 320kbps >Aweseome bird that can imitate other virds calls and more, ffo: birds in general
everything except the last sentence he said but unironically
Christopher King
Seu Jorge – The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions (2005) [320]
>acoustic, Portuguese-language David Bowie covers, only redeeming feature of a terrible film >Bowie's verdict: "Had Seu Jorge not recorded my songs in Portuguese I would never have heard this new level of beauty which he has imbued them with"
>only redeeming feature of a terrible film Fuck you buddy, the film is great. Thanks for the share, though.
Juan Bell
Super Lust On Value 4 (2018) [320]
>techno, trance, house >4 years old compilation >80 minutes of the finest bangers >name your price on bandcamp, but free downloads ran out fast last month
Rainbow Theatre - Fantasy of Horses (1976) >Symphonic Prog, Has more of a jazz fusion feel then most symp-prog, Last track is a classical piece created by the guitarist
Has anyone got some Johnny Cash albums? Specifically American IV: The Man Comes Around? I was pretty surprised to see the archive had nothing but Folsom Live and one album from his early days. I figured at least his essential albums would be in there so it's weird.
man, this came on tv yesterday and I nostalgia'd hard. I'm not wild about Don Bluth but this movie is great. The book was awesome, too, when I was seven, anyway. apparently Wil Wheaton and Shannon Dougherty were the voices of two of the kid mice but they must've been tiny kids themselves. And the crow was Dom Delouise but that's obvious
Requests: Aphex Twin - Xylem Tube EP, Digeridoo EP, On EP / On Remixes, Donkey Rhubarb EP, Ventolin EP & Ventolin Remixes AFX - all Analogue Bubblebath albums (except 4), The Tuss - Rushup Edge / Confederation Trough EP Bradley Strider - Bradleys Beat & Bradleys Robot
Can't find these on the archive anymore since the big Aphex folder is gone! If anyone has them please share so there will be a new link, it would be greatly appreciated.
Landon Reyes
>Can't find these on the archive anymore since the big Aphex folder is gone! F
you should get soulseek user
Josiah James
I've tried but I have no idea how to use it! I tried following the instructions on the archive and on youtube but it's weird. Plus it's probably better to use MEGA anyway
Hunter Torres
Correction: I meant the instructions on the wiki
Landon Nelson
As a fan of SOK and garage rock in general, you have my deepest thanks and appreciation for your contribution. I almost never see SOK or garage in general discussed on Cred Forums
Jaxson Butler
hey it's not just me! I always have issues with the port forwarding, but I think that's due to the rather confusing router setup I have going on
Ryder Watson
it's a little hard to figure out but there's guides for all the steps and it's very worth it once you figure it out lol what do you mean "but it's weird"? perhaps mu can help
Kayden Ward
When I search nothing comes up, regardless of how I search for something (like song vs album titles). Do I have to share stuff on my computer first? Maybe I did something wrong in the set-up.
Samuel White
anyone have ryuichi sakamoto's new album glass? unable to grab it off slsk
Levi Cox
>Do I have to share stuff on my computer first? you shouldnt in order to be able to search and find results, but it's highly recommended still, otherwise some people (like me) would automatically not share with you (but not all so you should still be seeing search results even if that were the case)
Isaiah Sanchez
Good to know. Do you have any idea why I don't get any results when I search? I used the tab thing at the top of the screen I think.
Parker Walker
Noah, if you're not going to post a download link you should really put this in the Bandcamp thread :)
Nathan Bailey
I like this a lot. Been listening to the new Ambersmoke album recently and coming around to the blackgaze genre as a whole. Any recommendations for a newbie?
There's some great guitar work on this album. One of these guys sings with an almost palpable Scottish accent and a voice that's somehow a more grating version of Bob Dylan's but in a good way.
THANK YOU! Every time there was a share thread, and somebody uploaded this, it was always on zippyshares, which SUCKS! Thank you for uploading it on a different file sharing site.
Mason Price
/r/equesting the latest Naxatras album
I don't have anything to share right now, but if anyone is interested in their other two albums, they are on rutracker
Leo Long
Best sharethread in a while
Noah Morris
Anyone have this in its entirety? Dr. George Milstein - Music To Grow Plants
Charles Anderson
Thanks, but it comes across more as post-rock than Emo/indie
Eli Carter
...
Ayden Gray
Can someone post Jumping the shark by Alex Cameron please I will suck a dick for it
Jackson Baker
reccing
this sounds so awesomer thanks
David Gomez
Is there any other album more neckbeard than this?
Ryan Carter
fuck yeah
Parker Howard
Well this is the best sharethread in a while and guess what? It has none of that obnoxious sharethread general etiquette shit >Innocence Mission – Birds of my Neighborhood (1999) > acoustic indie folk, female vocalist, nostalgic
Ayy, someone finally posted it! Had this on vinyl for the longest but needed it on digital, thanks friend!
Isaiah Brown
Yeah the general etiquette stuff doesn't do shit. I don't really care if it's there but the important thing is to just start the thread off with a good size dump of shares.
Dominic Taylor
Remastered from PSF rips. I won't go into the process, but I will assure you now I did not add any reverb. All reverb is from what was programmed into the PSFs. Did not do songs shorter than 1m30s. If someone requests them, I will.
Put this shit on mega or something, OneDrive is shit
Evan Lopez
Huh? They don't throttle or limit the amount of downloads and I have 1TB of storage here. Why the fuck would I use something that will take me an hour to upload 1 album. I also plan on remastering a lot of shit, mega would cap out too damn fast.
If you're pissed cause it asked you to login, it does that sometimes, you can just close the dialogue window. You don't have to login.
>ctrl-a, right click, download
I just tested, it zips of the lot for you and feeds it to you at 4MB/sec. Or you can just click whatever songs you want.
Ayden Lee
>something that will take me an hour to upload 1 album not that guy but I'm pretty sure my computer is a lot more shit than yours, and an album upload to mega only takes me like 5 or so minutes with basic ATT service, just about what it takes to write the post and find the sample link and artwork. DLs are like 1 or 2 min.
Anyway, I've never heard of OneDrive but we like Mega because the servers are not in the US or a US copyright-enforcing nation, shit doesn't get taken down and you can make an account with a throwaway email.
Jaxon Bailey
Sounds right up my alley, thanks!
Seconding this. Really want to listen to it tonight. I'll post a couple of goodies to convince you.
Does anyone else find crust punk is way closer to metal than punk?
Adam Jones
Crust punk has always been like that. Amebix had as much in common with Hellhammer and Celtic Frost as they did with Crass or Discharge.
Cooper Perez
has the new screaming females leaked?
Mason Garcia
hmm. alright, i will see what i can do
Jackson Gutierrez
should add that my results are for zips of mp3s, I don't do flac which are bigger and may take longer, I dunno
Nathan Fisher
Ya, me again. The Chrono Cross album is 618mb in a zip. It's going 1.3mb/sec. The reason I do 24/96 FLAC is because I got lambasted for saying I remastered something then compressed it into an MP3. lol this fucking place.
Bentley Clark
Well, it's not like it needs to be uploaded urgently. We can wait
Gavin Butler
this is really nice, do you have the rest of their discography?
Just wanted to say that I've been leeching off of sharethreads for years now. I've always wanted to contribute, but I live in a 3rd world shithole with shitty upload speeds. One day, I'm going to upload my 4TB collection, once I'm able to afford a proper internet connection, as thanks for all the great music you've given me.
You're welcome. Maybe you should consider using soulseak to share your music?
Charles Jenkins
So, 01/25 I finished a bootleg I've been working on for a long time. It's a recording of William Basinski's performing A Shadow in Time here in Rio de Janeiro at the Igreja do Carmo na Lapa (It's a church).
There are two formats: 1- MP3 320kbps - The tracks are separated 2- Uncompressed WAV - It's a one long track, but with a CUE.
I also made an artwork with pictures I shot that day.
When I first heard the song Axe Man by Amebix it sounded like Cronos from Venom singing for early Black Sabbath. (And that's a GOOD thing)
Anybody have The Bermuda Triangle? That's classic Tomita, even though one is supposed to have 5 speakers set up like a pyramid: One in each corner, and the fifth set up on the middle of the ceiling.
Nolan Torres
>Anybody have The Bermuda Triangle? I've got a vinyl rip with tracks as side one and two only. Still want it?
Logan Harris
If you're willing to upload it, I'm sure there are plenty who would be appreciative.
Lots of great music being posted and shared! Don't let this thread die. If limit is reached, please start a new one! Lots of great stuff here. There's something for everyone, and, with one or two exceptions, people have been truly respectful of one another, and that's how it should be on Cred Forums!
Asher Harris
fuck off with your sappy bullshit to reddit and post music
Nathaniel Sanders
is there any interest in less known hardcore punk, metal (thrash, heavy, speed, death), grindcore and noisecore?
Camden Evans
Heh.
Jonathan Morris
Don't ask, just post. I didn't bother asking if people wanted my video game remasters. Nobody is gonna shit on your for sharing. lol
James Gray
haha you be suprised, lots of angry people on here. but i will.
I try to be nice, and show appreciation, and this is the thanks I get?
I guess there's one in every crowd.
>Gimme gimme doesn't get!
Luis Lewis
Sure. Just post.
Gabriel Watson
So there isn't a Jim O'Rourke Discography anywhere, right? I want to listen to a bunch of his stuff but it's going to take me forever to get it all one by one...
