It's a good way to get an idea of a group's popularity though really. Idk if biggest song is the best metric, but going by the quantity of "monthly listeners" is a decent way to gauge an artist's popularity since it's such a big and popular platform.
For example The Residents have just under 25k monthly listeners, Beat Happening has 46k, and Ariel Pink has 800k. I started getting curious about random band numbers so I looked at a few more. I expected way more, but Faust has only 26k.
Also, thinking about the groups/artists I listen to the most, I picked 3 I was going to post before I started Spotify checking shit:
Tokyo Kid Brother only has 47, so there's my winner I guess lol. Pic related is the only album I've listened to of theirs. Even though I love it, still haven't listened to more from them.

Then the last one, which surprised me because I don't think I've seen him mentioned anywhere besides the share thread years back that had an album of his, was Yann Tiersen, but he's got 2.3 million monthly listeners on his.
Just for reference, I looked up some big names, like Arcade Fire with 3.3 mil and Radiohead with a nice 7.1 million.
All that said, the top Radiohead song, with double the listens of any other of theirs, is Creep, which got a hearty chuckle from me.as a patrician.
