OP here. I got Libertarian Socialist, whatever that means. Basically my ideology is that everyone should have the ability to start from the same place on the track, but whoever is fastest deserves to win, but those who lose should still have the chance to place their children in a place with a chance of winning. If you want to fuck off and smoke weed all day you shouldn’t be penalized, but you also shouldn’t be airlifted to the finish line. If you’re a literal fucking retard, I think you should be adequately provided for so your family isn’t weighed down by having to take care of a potato.
In other words healthcare should be free, but if you’re “faster” there’s nothing wrong with being able to pay for better service. Public college should be free, but if you’re a fucking idiot there isn’t anything wrong with not letting your retarded ass on campus (and again private college should still be allowed). Like if you have a limp you’re still started at the same distance from the finish line as Usain Bolt, he will win and reap the rewards but you won’t be penalized because of how you were born. You just won’t succeed to the same extent.
I feel like my position will be considered “conservative” in 50 years, but at that point I will gladly consider myself as such. If you’re a dumbass you don’t deserve a scholarship to Harvard, and that’s not my problem.

I really dislike fat people that constantly make excuses and lie about why they’re fat. But they are still human. Maybe a bi yearly check up to ensure they’re losing weight would be “payment” for any services provided due to obesity.
However I’m friends with addicts of many things including food. Most of the time they’ve had a genuinely fucked up childhood that they had zero control over and because they can’t afford visits to a shrink they “compensate” with something else. It’s still a personal decision to use a substance, but from a removed perspective, is it really that different from a desperate person working a shit job that has a high risk of injury? Personally I don’t think so.
But again, if you’re using a public service to save yourself from a situation you knowingly put yourself in, I think there should be check ins after the first incident to make sure you’re getting better, otherwise you’ll have to start paying for any service rendered.

Thread's about ideal societies and no, I will not live to see this. Enforced socialism is the only means by which socialism can actually be achieved. Bourgeoisie isn't going to just hand over the means of production, democratic election or no. And at this point, the climate doesn't have the time it would take for a democratic socialist regime to accomplish much. Instilling these ideas in our children works, though remember that nothing is more leftist than infighting. What comes out of the first revolution will be a totalitarian regime necessary to combat the pressing issues of today, but will also be a stepping stone, to be remade better in the following generations.
