Because they won't go back to being broke again.

Trying to nourish, cultivate and harvest from depleted, dead dirt is pointless. Nothing will grow from it unless you either artificially boost its capability to support crops or take (steal) rich, usable soil from somewhere else and spread it there.
On the other hand, trying to nourish, cultivate and harvest from already rich, fertile land nets good results. Things grow. It yields crops. And if you manage it well, the soil never goes bad.
Shitty soil doesn't improve itself.
Mismanaging fertile soil is a problem, but ultimately still the better chance in the long run.

Because the poor are jealous of the rich don't you want to be rich to?

Prepare to see a thread full of bitching with nothing to back up the bitching. If this is what you wanted then just go to buzzfeed or a white womans twitter account next time

Look at all these corporate brown brown nosers. If your business sucks enough to fail, your business deserves to die. Why should tax money be wasted by support a failing business

>brown brown nosers
Are are y-you autistic?

No I'm just a little tired and didn't notice

Not if it means being a shit human being.

I don't want to be rich. I want the people getting rich off of our country to treat us fairly. Why are things as basic as paid vacation and unconditional sick days not mandatory?

They are in NZ.

Give money to the poor, it goes back into the economy pretty quickly. Give it to the wealthy, and it's tied up in an investment indefinitely

because some day i'll be rich, and these policies that currently are against, will one day be for me.

Yeah but this thread is about the US. I know that most first world countries aren't as shit

>Give money to the "poor", it goes to alcohol and lottery tickets
>Give it to the rich, they don't spend it on bullshit
Cool story, hold on while I go grab all my money so you can give it to all your pet monkeys

That's just not how it works at all. You mix rich soil and fertilizer (money) to slowly increase the yield of barren soil until it becomes fertile. Using your analogy is the perfect way to describe how cultivation and socialism will help our country and world over a long period of time.

Rick Carver : borrowed 30,000 to put an enclosed patio on their home that they had somehow lived without for 25 years;... why don't you ask the bank what the hell they were thinking in giving these people an adjustable rate mortgage and then you can go ask the government why they lifted every regulation and just sat there like a retarded stepchild? You, Tanner, banks, Nash, every other homeowner and investor from here to China turned my life into evictions! I'm not an aristocrat; I wasn't born into this: my daddy was a roofer, ok? I grew up on construction sites watching him bust his ass until he fell off a townhouse one day: A lifetime of insurance payments and they dumped him before he could buy a wheelchair! But only after they got him hooked on painkillers. Now dyu think I'm going to let that happen to me? You think that America 2010 gives a flying rat's ass about Carver

[him speaking]

Rick Carver : ?

Dennis Nash : Uh ah!

Rick Carver : America doesn't bail out the losers! America was built by bailing out winners! By rigging a nation of winners: for the winners - by the winners! - You go to church Nash?

Dennis Nash : Sure.

Rick Carver : Only one in a hundred gonna get on that ark, son! And every other poor soul's gonna drown. - I'm not gonna drown.

>it goes to alcohol and lottery tickets
and the economy grows.. That was his point. The economy grows when the 99% have money and it declines when the 1% have it. Look at the 40's and 50's economic model if you don't believe it.

I honestly tried to understand this, but holy shit, I got nothing. I feel like I know who this is though.

Oh the economy grows? And yet your pets seem to continue to complain when they already do both of those things. Funny how that works out. What's next, you're gonna tell me rich people should stop sending their kids to good schools, because they should go to school with all your pets right?

>Oh the economy grows?
That's how it works kek

Mandatory basic workers rights would be nice. Like most first world countries already have. The rich people there are still rich, just a little less so the average citizen can have a nicer quality of life

but what about whne I become the next Benzos and only get $3b/year? I don't want to risk having my millions taken away to support poor people like myself!

You mean like all those "rich" people in France? Oh wait I forget, that doesn't count. Or are we going by the lefts definition of "anyone who makes more than 20k a year" as rich?

Hehe I know, I can't wait to be able to live in public housing and sell drugs all day, while having hoards of kids I don't raise, just like your pets!

Plenty of people make a good living in those countries, though I was specifically talking about corporations and businesses in this case. Even the right wingers in those countries support this basic shit

>the lefts definition of "anyone who makes more than 20k a year" as rich?
I thought Bernies tax plan said that people over $10m a year were rich and should be tax at 70% after that first $10m? $10m+ a year isn't enough when we have vets starving and dying?

>tell me the one specific thing I already think

The rich don't need support

And what about his green new deal? And his government for all healthcare plan? Right we're not suppose to bring that up

damn what a faggot,
just like trump

What exactly is wrong with those?
