I've started conversations in bars, on the street, in stores. Sometimes I get lucky with a number. Sometimes I'm getting blown in the parking lot. There are times I get dirty looks, who cares.
I've had my friends set me up on dates, sometimes it goes well, sometimes not. Dates are a different animal.. first date is usually a meet and greet, coffee or a drink. If she says she is hungry, say ok, but I'm not buying. Don't worry about hurting her feelings.. lol
A real date, take her to a movie then out to eat. Then you have something to talk about. On the first date I usually make it clear I don't have an std, then ask if they do.. if they answer no, then all is probably fine.. if they flip out and get pissed cause u asked, then they have something. Don't feel bad for asking. Nice to meet you and fuckin leave, and delete there number. Trust me, you can not be friends with a girl who has an std.. cause eventually you will want to fuck her.. not worth the headache...
