What ring would your favorite Marvel hero get?
What ring would your favorite Marvel hero get?
Other urls found in this thread:
Newest Star Sapphire, coming through.
Spider-Man would get Fear.
>Not will
Somebody post the panel with strange
Punisher would get rage.
Kill yourself.
Sounds like you'd be a great Red Lantern!
Thor? Green? Maybe Red?
Daredevil would be green for sure.
Cap would be a great blue lantern
Just call him Green Bolt from now on considering the shit he puts up with for his people.
Comics have already answered this for me.
Green
He'll just have to take your word for that.
Indigo
cucks don't deserve rings
Closest thing to a hero in Superior Foes, pretty sure he'd end up with orange if anything
Squirrel Girl would get the black and red ring, Bob would get the prismy darky looking one Paralax is rocking in the next Green Lanterns issue.
How would constructs work for him considering he's blind?
What about HydraCap?
I forget what all of the rings represent, but wouldn't Cap get a green one? Also, he's my favorite too.
Which one would Blade get? Or Luke Cage? Or Black Panther?
I don't know the other requirements are, other than the green one, and I don't think "willpower" explicitly applies to those three, aside from maybe Luke.
He still has an imagination.
I don't really know. It is a little difficult to pin down Strange's main emotion since he is typically stoic. I'd say Indigo, Blue, Green or maybe even Yellow, but I don't know which one would be most appropriate.
My second place is Moon Knight and his is pretty obviously Yellow.
hope means more than just having hope, you need to be able to inspire the others, this is why most people see superman as blue lantern material even though he isn't a coward
Blade would get yellow
BP would get Indigo
I'd say Luke could pass for blue or indigo
...
>I forget what all of the rings represent
That would be Cap then.
...
...
In for red lantern Hulk and yellow lantern She-Hulk.
I don't agree with Groot or Adam but eh the image is cool
Delicious Spriteman
I'm not a DC GL reader, I've had to wiki what the colors implications are, and I guess Clint would be Violet, maybe? Which is fitting.
This is just playing off Phyla's normal star motif. L A Z Y pretty good though, might even be clever if I knew more about her
>Blade
>Yellow
>Evil Terrorists, with power based on fear
But Blade a good guy, kinda.
>BP
>Indigo
>Compassion
That's pretty accurate, but what can they even do?
>Luke
>Blue
So does Iron Fist get Green?
>Blue ring is hope
>"Golly gee, I hope the green lanterns show up and actually do something!"
Considering Phyla went through a lot to bring Moondragon back from the dead and was driven by their love I say it fits her.
Silver surfer being the white lantern would be pretty cool
All you need to know is that she's love struck enough that even after Moondragon turned into a literal dragon permanently she still wanted to be in lesbians with her.
It doesn't matter if you're a good person or not, you inspire fear the ring chooses you.
They can also make shields user. Shields are important.
Do they still need green rings to power theirs or has that been retconned?
But Blade only inspires fear in other Vampires, and that's a good thing.
Aren't they also healers?
Pretty sure he freaks out regular people too
Again it doesn't matter if you're good or not, Batman is worthy of being a Sinestro corps member and so was Soranik and they are both good people.
It doesn't matter. Batman was chosen by a yellow power ring before, but he rejected it.
Blue Lantern, of course.
"I will bring you hope, old friend."
>Batman selected by Yellow ring
Oh nevermind, I was thinking the completely wrong thing.
With soundwaves. There is an alien green lantern who has no eyes due to living in a dark world. Granted the guy appears for like 2 pages but still
Or a indigo one
They just usually give it to villains because people associate Sinestro with villainy, but the ring will seek out anyone who instills great fear. I think Batman even has a yellow power ring in his cave as his backup plan in case any of the Earth GL's go rogue.
Dude, there's even a living equation that represents willpower as a member of the corps
Also a whale, a vacteria, a planet and a box. The green lantern corps are very cool
>Nova
Green probably. Maybe white when he's back.
Part of me wants to write a parody of them where they're actually victims of intergalactic affirmative action. Hal is actually a decent guy but cause he's an alpha white male he's always being blamed for everything.
>Daredevil
Probably Green
Although Red would be more /fa/
Wouldn't DD be more like yellow?
I'd give him purple and tell him it's a different color.
hard to decide
But pretty sure Yellow
he'd get shot
>Tony Stark
Brown Ring of Jack Daniels
He's orange, fgt.
do you even read comics?
Doom's whole thing is his unconquerable will power. He can stare Purple Man in the face with no protections, and not get mind controlled. When shit gets tough, Doom hits the books and masters science and magic.
Wasn't it that Batman have equal shares of fear and will in him, which rules him out of both rings?
Yellow, easily.
Herp wrong image
You clearly dont read comics
>Filled with compassion
>Used to be an emotionless villain.
That was easier than I thought.
all Marvel characters would get a black ring because they're zombies without personalities or life
He can sense the three dimension shape of objects with his hearing, imagining shapes wouldn't be hard.
That's only in that one universe.
I thought indigo tribe members were all people that lacked compassion?
Fuck off.
They are, but it fills them with it once they're wearing it. Hence the used to be a villain part.
He changed on his own but I still think it works.
Surfer is a Blue through and through, though.
Salty much?
>Favourite marvel hero
Emmh yeah that guy
That dude would get ermh a red ring?
Sorry, what? I couldn't hear you over the sound of Vic's greed
Yellow
It isn't greed.
Doom believes that only he can save the earth.
Given her love of torture and attendant monsters, yellow
I think its both?. During the deputy part in blackest night the second indigo ring scan for compassion and choose Palmer instead of lucking for some psycho to force compassion on him.
meant to type 'looking for some pyscho'
Didn't that destiny come true as of Secret Wars?
he failed and got shown up by Reed. like always.
Kek
Beat me to it. Magik is Yellow. She inspires fear and is also driven by it.
Colossus would definitely be a Blue Lantern.
I don't know having everyone worship you as a god seems pretty greedy to me.
not anymore
Now and days Venom would likely be hope.
Flash is green tho
Why so touchy?
The indigo tribe as a whole was a mistake.
>Man-Thing
Probably Green or Yellow?
>Silver Surfer
White
Probably a yellow
This mother gets a Green, Yellow AND Orange Ring.
Assuming he isn't white (remember, destined Avatar of Life), they're probably making him Indigo because he used to have a staff in Infinity Watch.
He does and Sinestro has gone on record saying that Batman would be the greatest yellow ring bearer ever if he accepted it's power.
is there any real benefit to having any ring but Green, Yellow, Red and Black?
the spectrum seems superfluous, maybe only just super undeveloped
>not F-Sharp Bell
user, c'mon
Speaking of Rot Lop, Anyone know what note on the Chromatic Scale would represent the Orange Lanterns?
Because yes Larfleeze actually have someone from Sector 0911 as a Corps Construct. It's called the Sound Dancer.
>white lantern
Well, if he's that I know who I want as a black Lantern and it would fit his MO too.
I don't know
Here's a proper Black Lantern Thanos
all of them
>Magus being an evil White Lantern
would be cool
wolverine and x-23 could probably pull off yellow if they wanted, but red would be a much more natural fit
looks like i'm not the only one who thinks so, google image search did not disappoint
Puh-lease, the evil White Lantern moniker would clearly go to Shuma Gorath.
Great, even MORE things his healing factor needs to work against.
Green of course
Would Ultron be a Yellow Lantern?
You get yellow rings for INSTILLING fear.
Spidey might actually wind up wearing the ring of Volthoom.
>Hank Pym
Possibly Red?
>the ring of Volthoom.
What?
No contest.
Hope might be one of the biggest traits in Pete's personality, but he's not known for inspiring it in others.
The idea of him creating green light webs is awesome.
I like to picture that and a legion of all-sizes green light spiders
>In for red lantern Hulk and yellow lantern She-Hulk.
She-Hulk probably a Star Sapphire and Hulk would have a black ring nowadays.
Chulk though possibly red and Hercules probably green?
Well since Death Seed is practically a Black Ring without the drawbacks...
I suppose Yellow, or paradoxically, White.
>I can talk to spiders
Green. Remember he has no actual powers, everything he does is self taught. That must have taken incredible willpower.
she's torn between red and green. She's got a lot of willpower, but oh, that temper!
Definitely red
