First for Agent Helix is cute

It seems they'll be adressing if the Wraiths can take over Cybertronians in a future issue and why the Wraiths have been avoiding Cybertronians in a future story (probably in a TF issue).

Also we might see Space Knights and Dire Wraiths in Lost Light from some of the comments but nothing confirmed.

She's annoying to me but to be fair no one has done anything remotely interesting with her, but I'll give her a chance since I used to hate Silk and now I like her.

>why the Wraiths have been avoiding Cybertronians

They like not getting shot.

What is the point of all these weaker guys that would get wrecked. Fighting as anything below a fleet of spacecraft is pointless.

Chris Ryall is working on getting ROM reprints going, apparently! That's neat.
>MASK have specifically anti-Transformer weaponry
>Micronauts can punch through a Transformer's eyeballs and kill them from the inside
>Rom doesn't give a shit about anything except nuking Dire Wraiths
>Action Man is the greatest hero of them all, he wins automatically
>GI Joe... are kind of fucked

>The cube Space Knight is literally named Q'b

That better be real and not a joke.

They just need to inject Cybertronian CNA into human eggs to make cyborg shapeshifting warriors that are loyal to the US of A.

Someone pls ask about Bear and Cube Knights!

Action Man is cute and just an all around great guy only a monster would want to hurt him.

They don't want to get into their shit war, no one wants to but they brought it to earth and they were there so now they are fucked.

Aliens should know Earth is a hub for disastrous shit and not to go there.

>Someone pls ask about Bear and Cube Knights!
Someone did. The cube is named Q'b (as in the Greek letter Beta, but everyone pronounces it "cube" anyway)

And going by the series' naming conventions, the bear is probably something like B'er. Or Gr'zzly.

Ur-SOL

>Q'b
>BETA
He was born cursed.

The big purple blob guy is also called Guar.

DETEL THIS

Also, Gage doesn't know what Dire Wraith guy is doing there. Go figure.

>How much kissing are the comics going to have? I've read almost every IDW/Hasbro comic so far and there's been almost no kissing outside of a few smooches in Jem.

>Christos Gage: Rom has no mouth so he cannot smooch. :(

Preview for Revolution #2 from Fico Ossio.

Poor Blitzwing.

For the Ravage fans

>Q:Another one for John - in MTMTE (spoiler alert!) Ravage gets killed, and we get a couple of panels of Soundwave reacting to it on Earth, but - presumably because of the nature of the timescales between series - that hasn't been addressed in any greater depth in Transformers. Any chance that might get touched on in Optimus Prime?

>Barber: It comes up in TF 57, but it'll continue to be a motivating factor going forward.

>people want kissing in IDW comics
That's not happening.

>it will be a motivating factor
SOUNDWAVE IS BROKEN.
BROKEN.

Regarding non-ROM Space Knights

>Q: Your favourites out of those Solstar Order members we saw in #2? I've seen a lot of the people interested in the bear, the cube, and the character who looked suspiciously a lot like a Dire Wraith.

>Chris Ryall: Man, I can't decide between the bear with a mask, the cube or the snake-guy (actually, I can, but they all have appeal for different reasons. The snake guy, who does have a real name, is coming first--starting in Rom #5, in fact, and he won't be alone) but we'll see the others before too long, too, and then everyone can see who they like the best. [A point of trivia on that panel, which had just the effect we hoped it would. It was Christos' idea to homage a scene in John Byrne's Alpha Flight #1 from the '80s. In that issue, he put similarly sized panels showing the all-new teams Beta Flight and Omega Flight. And those of us who read it had no idea who any of those characters were but dammit, did we want to find out. And we eventually did, but not right away. So borrowing that approach to show some Order members we'll meet down the line was a very fun thing to do here.]

I'm starting to think Blitzwing might be the TF to join the Joes. They might actually pity him.

It can be him or Skywarp since both are already at their base but Blitzwing would make more sense since he is actually part of the main story.

Although knowing Blitzwing he would be a bit pissed about the Joes just running around and letting Miles torture him (so hopefully they make it up to them).

Maybe they can bond over Blitzwing studying human military history and football.

>Blitzwing gets a series all to himself amongst the Joes with no other Cybertronians to compete against for popularity
He'll be living the dream if that actually turns out to be the case. He'll go from a C-lister to at least a B-lister.

>Aubrey Sitterson: When Carlos & John asked me to pitch on G.I. Joe, they gave me a very rough breakdown of where things with Revolution were headed, so I knew what we'd be spinning out of. I had some time to read and think about some things and then we all planned to get on a call together so we could hash some things out. Prior to the call, I made a massive list of questions – continuity, where characters were going to be, how things with the crossover were progressing, etc.

>On the phone call, Carlos & John walked me through some recent changes to the Revolution series as well as how it would impact the Joe team and then John said, "Hey, an idea that we had – and just throwing it out there to talk about – how would you feel about having a Transformer on the team?"

>To which I responded, "What are you? High? Of COURSE I want a Transformer on the team – that's literally the first question I scrawled out on this sheet of paper."

>We were all on the same page. We knew that putting a Transformer on the team would be the perfect way to both drive home that this is now a shared universe while also cultivating the high adventure, sci-fi tone we want to hit with the series. This isn't a cheap marketing ploy, it's something that grew organically out of what we wanted for the series, and as such, the Transformer in question will be a massive part of G.I. Joe moving forward.

I guess Blitzwing or Skywarp can be spared to the Joes they both aren't doing anything important in the TF comics, they'll probably get more attention there too.

Thats awesome.
I can't wait to see who their TF teammate will be.
After seeing that inked page of pitiful Blitzwing I'm kind of hoping it's him but then again Skyward is also suffering.

But will there be a triple team-up of Cobra Commander, Starscream, and D'compose?!

Loved this page.

Blitzwing is in the main story so in that way yeah he makes more sense but Skywarp also ties to the whole Joes and Cobra (who according to Sitterson will be popping up later) messing with teleporting tech.

Also we thought Kup was going to join them because a solicit has him going to the Joe base but I guess the Ian's Brit charm will win him over (I don't blame him I would also ditch anyone for Action Man).

Starscream is at Cybertron, Cobra Commander is dead (don't know WTF is up with Krake) but honestly that won't stop him now, and Chris Ryall skipped an Inhumanoid question.

So maybe? But not anything soon at least.

Beach Head fucked up real time.

I also like how all of the Autobots are just mildly annoyed (only Jazz got fucked up big time, poor Jazz)

>Q: Spike is a dick. Please tell me he's a wraith and gets disintegrated.

>Barber: Spike Fans! He's in ACTION MAN: REVOLUTION!

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Anyone else feeling strangely excited for fucking G.I. Joe of all things? Dat art...

comicsalliance.com/aubrey-sitterson-gi-joe-revolution-interview/

This is some kind of ruse. Right?

I am! The art, the mystery TF that's joining, we're getting a more sci-fish GI Joe instead of yet another army story (and I like Hama's stuff but the comics have been trying to copy him and it gets boring after awhile).

Nope, check OP's

Well that's not a no.

It would be absolutely great if Salmons punched him out.

No I mean the whole "Spike fans!" and him still getting away with living.

>No I mean the whole "Spike fans!"
Barber's always said stuff like that whenever Spike's been brought up for ages, m8. He's embraced how hated the character is since he started writing him.

>He's embraced how hated the character is since he started writing him.

If this is true then I damn hope he's simply waiting for the perfect moment to give him a very painful karma-soaked death.

>ComicsAlliance: You’ve referred to GI Joe as being the crown jewel of the Hasbro Universe, and I can tell you right now that for Transformers fans, that’s going to be a pretty hotly debated statement. So with almost all of the Hasbro properties combining in the pages of Revolution, what is it that puts the Joes on top for you?

>Aubrey Sitterson: Well, the glib answer is that I’m writing it with art by Giannis Milonogiannis and Lovern Kindzierski, right? But the longer, deeper answer is that we all have a lot to live up to with GI Joe. It’s the oldest of the properties, but unlike Transformers, which had three ongoing series even before the start of Revolution, Joe has been, to make use of the military lingo, AWOL.

>It’s a steep hill to climb, since we need to remind people what makes Joe, the concept, the franchise and, most importantly, the characters, so great. But the very significant silver lining is that Hasbro and IDW have been giving us an enormous amount of freedom to redefine what Joe is in 2016.

>The “Crown Jewel of the Hasbro Universe” talk has less to do with the franchise’s position in the overall Hasbro line, and more to do with the new approach and the quality of the work, something that will be self-evident once people see what we’re doing on the book.

>Snake Eyes and Helix are a tandem that I’m really excited about, as I think that their skills mesh extremely well together. How do you make a silent, devastatingly effective ninja even better? Team him up with someone boasting Total Organic Battlefield Awareness, someone capable of feeding him with updates that he can then act on in real time.

Ughhh I just hope we don't get that shitty love triangle, also I don't like her and Snake Eyes is close to Mary Sue territory but Helix took the fucking cake with her battlefield awareness shit and her being shown as being a better fighter than him, and now bring back that stupid love tension with Scarlett to the mix and it's going to be unbearable.

If Helix gets paired with Snake Eyes, I will get pissy but I will be able to take it if Scarlett moves on from him.

Which brings up my other annoyance, I hope the writer doesn't fall for the "Scarlett suffers because of broody Snake Eyes" shit, honestly I only ever liked that pairing when Hama wrote them and in GI Joe Renegades because that shit was kept to a minimum, Scarlett had more than just Snake Eyes, and at least and he pinned for her too.

>CA: So with that in mind, how does Revolution change how you approach GI Joe? The conflict within the story has, of course, always revolved around Cobra, but now that you’ve got the Transformers, the Dire Wraiths, and all the other threats creeping in from books like Micronauts and Action Man, where and how do you focus?

>AS: During my time in Marvel editorial, I worked on a lot of crossovers in one capacity or another, both the events themselves as well as tie-in books. House of M, World War Hulk, Messiah Complex and, most notably, Civil War. One of the things that we always tried to keep in mind is that in order for a crossover to be truly successful, tie-ins and spin-offs all need to be self-sufficient, using the events of the big book to seed stories, but then developing them into their own, independent thing.

>I’m fortunate then that with GI Joe, even though we’re building off what came before, and everything that happened in the mainline IDW continuity (separate from the awesome stuff Larry Hama is doing on RAH) still happened, we’ve got a real chance to start from scratch.

>As you’ve mentioned, the world that GI Joe inhabits is much wilder, much weirder, much more heavily infused with heavy science fiction elements than ever before. That necessitates that while it will always be a military book, it’s no longer just a military book. And because of that, everything about the new approach, both the one-shot and the ongoing series, is built upon this new status quo.

>As for what we focus on, I think it’s the same answer as it’s always been, or should always be: It’s the characters. My initial pitch for the series, what landed me the gig, was, of course, heavily rooted in the events of Revolution, but the bulk of the document addressed the individual Joe characters and the arcs they would be going through as people.

> GI Joe as being the crown jewel of the Hasbro Universe

>CA: I think that leads pretty easily to asking about which characters you plan on using. How do you narrow down a roster that big into a manageable cast? Do you just go with your favorites, or is there a matter of looking at their specialties? “Well, we’re gonna need a pilot, so Wild Bill’s gotta be there.”

>AS: Honestly, it’s all of the above. There are certain characters — Scarlett, Roadblock, and Snake Eyes come to mind — that just had to be in there. Given their importance to the franchise, their massive popularity, and their strength as characters, it’d be ridiculous to leave them out. Others, like Rock ‘n Roll and Quick Kick, are what I see as kind of rehabilitation projects. The core of the characters is solid, but they needed to be dusted off and updated, given something that makes them distinct and distinctly interesting.

>And then, of course, there are characters that get brought in because they fill a role. One of the coolest things about G.I. Joe as a franchise is the depth and breadth of the roster. Taking to the skies? You’ll need Wild Bill. Hitting the open seas? Shipwreck and Polly are there for you.
CA: Okay, well, first of all, Quick Kick rules.
AS: I 100% agree! But the original, shirtless, shoeless look doesn’t really fly in 2016, right? It’s why I really loved [Fred] Van Lente and [Steve] Kurth’s approach to the character, really leaning into him as a serious hand-to-hand combatant. And with Giannis’ redesign, utilizing more of an MMA fighter look, I think we’re ready to find a way to communicate “martial arts master” in a way that feels current, relevant and, most importantly, awesome.

Sitterson doesn't strike me as being too interested in that kind of stuff.

>CA: When it comes to the redesigns, do you offer up any suggestions, or do you just let him run wild on it?

>AS: I sent Giannis an obnoxiously long document of ideas, thoughts and visual touchstones. It wasn’t long because I was telling him what to do though — that’d be ridiculous, arrogant and self-defeating with a talent of his caliber — but rather because I had so many thoughts on how we could retain what works about the characters, what makes them iconic, while also updating them and veering away from the “everybody in fatigues” look.

>From there, Giannis went nuts. Nuts in the best possible way. Some of the designs were pretty close to what I described or the images I sent over, while others had Giannis going in a completely new and unexpected direction. No matter what though, every time he sent one over, my response was the same. “Yup. That’s it. Perfect. I love you.”

>CA: Was there ever a consideration of wanting them to look good as toys? I mean, it is GI Joe, after all.

>AS: From my end? No, not at all. Don’t get me wrong, it’d be amazing to see the Giannis designs get made as toys, but that’s not our job. Our job is, first and foremost, to make an incredible comic, so the thought process was always, “What’s going to look rad on the printed page?”

>CA: Getting back to the idea of the cast, can we look forward to seeing a dedicated group of characters, or a core that specialists will rotate into and out of for each story?

>AS: It’s a tough thing to juggle, right? Especially since every Joe is someone’s favorite. But at the same time, it’d be difficult to have any real, meaningful, satisfying character development if we swapped out teams entirely every few issues.

>So, while we’ll definitely have a core cast — more or less who you’ll see in the Revolution one-shot, plus a few notable additions — the plan has always been to bring in folks for specific missions. Once again, the Joe roster is one of the absolute best things about the franchise, and I love being able to cycle in additional characters, especially since it means we’ll get to see Giannis put his inimitable spin on their designs.

>CA: Who’s on the main roster?

>AS: The Joes you’ll be seeing the most of are Scarlett, Roadblock, Rock ‘n Roll, Quick Kick, Shipwreck, Doc, Snake Eyes and Helix. Oh! And, of course, the Transformer that we have joining the team! We’re keeping their identity secret for now though.

>I’m really proud of how diverse a cast we have. Even going back to the cartoon series, G.I. Joe has always been ahead of the curve in terms of representation and inclusion, so it’s a tradition we’re very excited to continue in.

>To me, even though she might not be the most popular Joe, I don’t think there’s a character that better exemplifies the series than Scarlett, a female soldier who isn’t just as good as her male counterparts, but, in many cases, is actually better. The IDW continuity has always flirted with the idea of putting her in charge, but there was always someone higher on the food chain that she was responsible to. That changes now. Scarlett is the obvious and best choice to lead the team.

>With Scarlett running the show, however, that necessitates that someone else step up as go-to field commander. Similarly, I’m really excited to give Roadblock a promotion. Another stalwart, long-time fan-favorite character, it’s high time that we saw him step into a leadership role. One that he can perform while also shooting an outrageously massive gun, obviously.

>Quick Kick is one of my favorites, largely because of what a nut I am for kung fu flicks. While his look would be right at home inside the UFC octagon, I’m taking every opportunity I can to send Giannis reference of different kung fu styles. There’s some Wing Chun in the one-shot, and I can’t wait to have him bust out some traditional kung fu weapons.

>Shipwreck is our undisputed master of the seven seas. I don’t want to give too much away, but this is going to be an extremely important role in the book moving forward.

>The IDW GI Joe continuity actually featured two different Docs, the classic Doc as well as his daughter, who used the same codename. Both will be showing up, but our focus will be on the younger one, who, despite sharing a name with her father, is eager to carve out her own path.

>And Rock ‘n Roll… he’s already kind of my favorite. His arc is probably the one I’m most proud of, especially since it’s going to bring some flavor and personality to a character that, despite debuting way back in 1982, remains one of the least fleshed out.

>CA: With that team in place, what can we expect from your run? What are the threats? How are they fitting into the post-Revolution Hasbroverse?

>AS: I’m dying to talk about this. Dying to tell you exactly what the team will be confronted with in the ongoing’s first arc, but I have to be careful not to spoil anything planned for the Revolution crossover.

>What I can say though is this: From here on out, GI Joe has a new, global mandate. In this new world, where the Earth is beset on all sides by magical shapeshifters, by giant robots from space, by tiny people from another dimension, by Space Knights…its the Joes who are the champions and defenders of humanity and Earth as a whole. That means that we’ll be moving away from a team that exists to protect America’s interests, and toward one that defends and safeguards the Earth as a whole. And since they’ll be doing so in a world filled with such weird stuff… things are going start feeling less Sgt. Rock and more Challengers of the Unknown.

>We’re bringing back the lasers, we’re putting a giant robot on the team, and we’re leaning fully into what have always been Giannis and my favorite parts of the series: Those weird science fiction elements. Most importantly though, its the tone and approach of the series that’s going to feel new, but also familiar to anyone who grew up with the Sunbow cartoons. This new GI Joe is, above all else, aspirational. These aren’t grimdark characters confronted with the grisly reality of war and combat — that’s so very far removed from what people want from the franchise. They are passionate, talented, excited young people, whose actions are rooted in a heartfelt desire to make the world a better place.

Ditto although it's very underrated and they need to update that franchise.

Going full MGS would be good

>CA: Okay, final question. You know I gotta ask. When are we gonna see Destro in this thing?

>AS: Ha! Man, I’ve been fighting the temptation not to throw absolutely everyone into this first arc. And it’s been hard. Really hard. I’ll say this though: I made a list of all the characters and concepts that I want to include, and though it’s huge, though it’s unspeakably massive, the Laird of Clan Destro is near the top of the villains list. Right under Croc Master and Raptor.

>and Chris Ryall skipped an Inhumanoid question.

They always do...

>Cobra Commander is dead (don't know WTF is up with Krake) but honestly that won't stop him now
Krake is, for all intents and purposes, IDW's take on Cobra Commander. They'll probably never bring the original back.

Looks like they might be going in that direction, especially given the artist's other work.

Hopefully because while I don't mind romance I am tired of the Scarlett suffers because of Snake Eyes shit and Helix has no flaws or anything other than her being perfect.

How new reader friendly is the series?

She seemed pretty flawed in that Revolution #2 preview with her not knowing when to shut up.

Which series?

Is Krake still alive? I dropped IDW GI Joe and honestly after Cobra Files I don't know what happened with the Joes

Also that looks cool, going full MGS will be fun

Also adding a bit to this from the Reddit Q&A

>Aubrey Sitterson: I don't think you're legally allowed to call something G.I. Joe if there's not some kind of Cobra representation. That said, like everything in this new, shared universe, Cobra will be going through some significant changes.

OK so Cobra is going to come back, nice.

Revolution

>Chris Ryall: What we've seen so far is the Wraiths can possess organic beings and the idea of how that might or might not extend to organic metal beings is something we'll definitely be exploring.

>Christos Gage: We also may do a story about why the Wraiths have avoided the Cybertronians at some point, so we're gonna be a bit vague about their history.

Yeah, other Cobra members were getting more of the spotlight at the time, I'm pretty sure he was still Cobra Commander at the end.

Mostly. They have an eight page prologue that tells you mostly everything you need to know.

They're also gonna do some 100-page collection of issues from past series that lead into it. 'Road to Revolution', its gonna be called.

They made it with the intent of being reader friendly if I recall, not to mention ROM and Micronauts just started and are in like their third issues so it should be easy to hop on those, MASK and then Revolutionaries will start and those will be easy to hop in.

Even when the regular Transformers title turns into Optimus Prime it should be pretty reader friendly.

The only ones I am not sure about are Lost Light and TAAO, I guess they should although MTMTE for me was a little hard to get into when I started because a lot happens in that comic.

>not to mention ROM and Micronauts just started and are in like their third issues so it should be easy to hop on those
Micronauts actually just had its sixth released, but it should still be pretty easy.

I hope Action man kicks his ass.
Best boy vs. Worst boy.

This, it's the only way I will accept that, Ian has to wipe the floor with Spike.

>Barbers self-insert destroying Costas self-insert

>Aliens should know Earth is a hub for disastrous shit and not to go there.

Wait.....

Earth is the Galaxy's Afghanistan?????

No, Cybertron is the galaxies Afghanistan.

No because no one wants to go to Afghanistan willingly.

Aliens willingly go to Earth, Humans don't want them and then the aliens fuck Earth's shit up and get their shit fucked in return, some of them want to leave and others want to stay and then everyone is miserable.

Well the Soviets and Americans did...

foreignaffairs.com/articles/afghanistan/2001-11-01/afghanistan-graveyard-empires

So how do you think this shitshow is going to an end?
My bets are G.I Joe remains antagonistic towards everyone save for Micronauts.

There's some side-swapping and then they all team up at the end to fight the Dire Wraiths, Karza, and Miles Mayhem.

>Dire Wraiths, Karza, and Miles Mayhem.
And the best part is neither of them will be cooperating.

Revolution #1 Indonesia Comic Con exclusive variant by Alex Milne

That lettering is weird and not what I'm used to in these books.

I dunno if they will be full antagonistic but the fact that Optimus has annexed Earth will have them be weary of Optimus and the Autobots at least.

I guess whatever Transformer ends up with them might make them realize that not all Transformers are bad but that depends who ends up with them and how long it takes for them to warm up to their new Cybertronian member, if it's Blitzkrieg or Skywarp then it will take awhile.

With the EDC is gone thanks to the Joes and guessing from the upcoming Transformers tie-in to Revolution by the end of the whole thing maybe so will Marissa since she's not a Joe like Ayana and she has nothing to do. Might even get killed by Wraiths since she's at the White House and the Wraiths will take over that place.

Hopefully Spike dies before this is over.

Action Man, Kup, Salmons, and Ayana will be buddies tho, Blackrock will get along with them (Kup, Slamons and Ayana won't be able to stand him but Ian will think he's cool).

The Human race will most likely hate ROM, ROM walks the lonely thankless road, no laurels and cheers for him killing Wraiths. Those who know of the Wraiths tho know he isn't evil.

MASK will be just starting, probably will clash with Optimus and his posse in the future because Optimus said he didn't want humans with Cybertronian tech and here they are.

Micronauts will be on Earth but at some point they will go back to the Microverse, I still don't know how the others will feel about them although I would love it if Acroyear tries to pick a fight with Victorion at some point because that would be hilarious.

>Devastator and Cobra
Cool.

I bet that Cobra Viper just wet his pants (I know I would have).

>Acroyear tries to pick a fight with Victorion at some point because that would be hilarious.
I can see that happening.
He could do it, he could do it if he tries.

I miss the LL adventures.

I hope we see some Jem cameos and easter eggs

>wants to ask "Where are the Centurions?"
>remembers that they are Kenner and IDW probably doesn't even have the comic license

Fug.

Action man has a Misfits poster.

Skywarp being tsundere for the Joe's would be pretty cool. He's only helping because they promised to fix him , yet 6 months later and he'd still be there with some weak excuse.

Man, that show was awesome.

He might be small but his might is big, he would even take on a Titan.

>Skywarp: S-Stupid humans I can leave anytime I want! I am fixed now!
>Snake Eyes:...
>Skywarp: I-It's not like I need you or anything!
>Snake Eyes: ....
>Skywarp: What? You want me to teleport you close that new Cobra base and help you infiltrate it?
>Snake Eyes: *shakes head*
>Skywarp: That's human for yes! Ha! I knew you would beg me to stay!
>Snake Eyes: ....
Skywarp: Fine I'll do it! Not because I like you but because you losers obviously need me if you're going to get anything done around here and I'm a generous bot.
>Shipwreck: Oh my god you haven't left yet

Of course Skywarp is annoying but they start getting attached to him and he'll have a soft spot for the Joes, but he's a jerk and they're military so they will shit talk each other (except Scarlett she's like the mom of the group).

Ugh now I'll be upset if it's not Skywarp on the team.

>Ugh now I'll be upset if it's not Skywarp on the team.
Right?! The dynamics would be so perfect between tsundere Skywarp and the Joes. The scenario you made is exactly what I hope those conversations play out like. Honestly the writers are missing a fantastic opportunity if they make anyone other than Skywarp.
Blitzwing could also work but he's not really stubborn or childish like Skywarp is so it would still be fun but not AS fun.

Milogiannis is dopeness. I';m glad he's getting the chance to work on something like this

God that is so cool.
I'm glad to see IDW is hiring really good artists now.

Who else here wants to fuck Shipwreck?

Go away, Covergirl.

Doesn't she want to fuck a tank or Brawn?

>Micronauts will be on Earth but at some point they will go back to the Microverse, I still don't know how the others will feel about them although I would love it if Acroyear tries to pick a fight with Victorion at some point because that would be hilarious.
It looks like they're going to find out there's been a Microspace colony on Earth for a long time.

>Micronauts #8
>Cullen Bunn (w) • Max Dunbar (a & c)
>The Micronauts are lost on the strangest, most dangerous planet they've ever visited—Earth! But as they adventure through this land of giants, they make a senses-shattering discovery! They are not the first visitors from Microspace to visit Earth. In fact, a very dangerous colony was established on the planet long ago... and it may hold the key to saving their universe from imminent destruction.

>Doesn't she want to fuck a tank
What?

He's reffering to the fact that she married Brawn and was expecting his kid at the end of the TF/Joe crossover by Scioli

I know about Brawn but the tank?

>It looks like they're going to find out there's been a Microspace colony on Earth for a long time.
Oh shit.
I didn't see that coming somehow, I figured they'd just be against some government program.

Megaempress is best girl discuss

So this isn't Shirow but an incredible facsimile?

Nope. It's Giannis Milonogiannis

Agreed.

>tfw I love Megaempress but absolutely despise the other girls that form Megatronia.
They're literally the kanker sisters but less trashy and more deranged.

>the lead art director and designer of TF animated is openly shitting on Fico Ossios art and Action man

I saw that. Wyatt can really be an ass sometimes. He also hates how Soundwave's written and complains that no comic writer makes him sound like he does in the cartoon.

>He also hates how Soundwave's written and complains that no comic writer makes him sound like he does in the cartoon.
Holy shit. If that isn't shit taste I don't know what is? No seriously, say what you will about exrid but it has one of the best if not best incarnations of Soundwave ever because they fleshed him out and made him an actual character with personality and depth beyond "Megatrons quiet and most loyal emotionless, servant". It doesn't help that he's a MTMTEdrone, not that MTMTE is bad but I'm wary of anyone who highly praises it and neglects to give the others credit where credit is due.

Also, Fico Ossio is a good artist and really grateful to be working on Revolution, fuck Wyatt.

I like the black and yellow one

You know, he's probably just really bitter that nobody liked his interpretation of Soundwave which not only lacked a personality and showed up for only two episodes but is also the least popular Soundwave.

Her lore is hilarious and absurd so i'm actually okay with her.

He jelly, is he doing it on twitter?

Hasbro bought out Kenner years ago, though. That's why they have MASK.

Yeah, he was tweeting this stuff yesterday.

Yep.
He's doing it on Twitter and it reeks of bitterness.

...

>Hating on based Ian Noble
Shit taste

>Not black enough Roadblock
I am glad tumblr doesn’t give a fuck about GI Joe.

Roadblock looked pretty black in the issue to me...

Oh yeah he was pretty black but not black enough to satisfy those people I guess.

Yeesh. Why is he acting so bitter? Just pint up aggression finally going over the edge or did someone prod him?

>why can't anyone write Soundwave in comics?
Far better written than any animated series has ever written him, he's not one of IDWs darlings and the fanfavorite of exrid for nothing. What backwards world do you have to live in to dislike the idea of a character having a personality?

>complaining about Ossios robots
This has to be jealousy.

>hating on Ian
This guy has such bad taste. I didn't even think it was possible to have taste this bad.

So he really hate's Soundwave's hobo past. I thought it was really interesting. Specially since Ravage was the one that helped him cope with his skills and is now.... dead.

Aaah so are we going to get totally Not Bug now? Nice.

Nah, we're getting one of the original toys (whose race was actually enemies with Bug's in the old comic), although I guess he could end up joining the team.

It is interesting.
I'm convinced he's just bitter about how wanked exrid Soundwave is, but I mean the reason Soundwave is wanked is exactly because of how interesting he is compared to literally every other existing Soundwave.

What's their lore?

She's basically Swindle and really likes money so she made a pact with Unicron for riches or something along the lines of that .Like all of Legends, It was long and convoluted but absolutely wild.

>that no talent asswipe Wyatt is angry

Ahhhh...made my weekend...

I mean most versions of Soundwave are just serious dude who is incredibly loyal to Megatron and sometimes cares for his little cassettes that's pretty much it.

IDW Soundwave has a good and compelling reason to join Megatron, he felt hurt and betrayed when Megatron joined the autobots, he tried making his own colony and live in peace, he has lost loved ones along the way, the character really is the most interesting he has ever been.

Also what personality did TFA soundwave have?

Boco... keep talking

>Also what personality did TFA soundwave have?
Literally nothing, Soundwave was just an emotionless thug in animated and he also had a really ugly design.

Wyatt is a hyper geewunn cartoon faggot tho. He continuously cried about Galvatron not being Megatron too.

Yet another reason as to why this dude is absolute cancer.

Weird that he's a genwunner yet animated doesn't reflect at all.

It is really fucking weird how mad he is that Soundwave isn't a bore who talks weird and Galvatron isn't Megatron, yet Animated had Optimus as a rookie who wasn't Autobot leader, the seekers as clones of Starscream, Prowl being a ninja, etc. I guess Geewunners latch onto some things more than others.

He was just a character designer, Isenberg was the writer and the main guy.

>It is really fucking weird how mad he is that Soundwave isn't a bore who talks weird and Galvatron isn't Megatron
I still can't get over how little sense it makes to WANT a character to be boring?
>yet Animated had Optimus as a rookie who wasn't Autobot leader, the seekers as clones of Starscream, Prowl being a ninja, etc.
Exactly it's super hypocritical.
I hope Barber and Ryall don't see any of this to put them down. They've doing a great job.

Ah.
Well then good on Isenberg, I liked animated.

So they're going through with it at last.
The merging of all Hasbro products together...Hmm.

What does he think of TFP Soundwave? Literally emotionally dead inside.

Yeah but TFP Soundwave has G1 Soundwave's voice so I'm sure he loves him.

He probably Primewave due to having no personality and the robotic pattern of speech.

He probably loves Primewave*

After looking around Twitter some more and off site, the only people who seem to really be hating Revolution are the hardcore MTMTE fans. They just don't like humans and other aliens it seems? On the bright side I'm seeing a lot of Transformer fans picking up ROM and even demanding Hasbro make toys of him.

The hardcore MTMTE fans don't like anything that isn't MTMTE, so I'm not surprised.

Yes si--uh, no ma'am?

Seems like an odd reason, considering MTMTE isn't even connected to this in any meaningful way...

They hate Barber.

I have no idea why he's complaining when TFA literally switched Soundwave and Shockwave's personalities, with Soundwave as emotionless and logic obsessed and Shockwave as the hyper loyal lieutenant.
>Hating Ian
Fuck off, Derrick. I used to like you and then you go and do this shit.

Dude. I'm a hard core MTMTE fan and I'm loving all this new stuff.

Weirdos.

Only the loud mouth weirdos hate barber. Like that autistic fetish freak that keeps harassing Barber and Roberts.

How can they hate the Admiral?

IDW Soundwave actually has a fucking spine and isn't Megatron's cocksleeve 24/7.

>Seems like an odd reason, considering MTMTE isn't even connected to this in any meaningful way...
Because a lot of them still read exrid and all this attention on Action man, ROM, and Joe's bothers them.
Also keep in mind that many of them already don't like exrid but still read it because it's TF.

>People hating Barber
>People hating Roche
>People hating Roberts
>Wyatt going on a hate boner
It's too bad this fandom has too many split personalities.

Its like they've never heard of crossover events.

Then again, for all we know the TF books will have Joes guest starring every few months from now on. I hope not.

OP #2's solicit mentions the Joes guest-starring, although that's to be expected with them now being the anti-alien taskforce and the Quintessons coming to town.

Krake is an upstart. IDW"s actual Cobra Commander offed himself trying to turn chuckles and Krake won the leadership contest for the next Commander and then killed Cobra's equivalent of a Board of Directors.

Currently I think Tomax is leader of Cobra after leaving GI Joe. Krake is MIA I think.

To be fair, past crossovers were pretty boring. The only good one was the Mars Attack crossover.

I do hope so.
Most of the pre-revolution human are/were SHIT!
Atlest I care about the Joes.

They're apparently going to be there, but just in the same role as the EDC were.
Though if Jones is going to be in Revolutionaries, where's Faireborn going to be? No mention's been made of her joining the Joes.

Eh, I liked Infestation 2. Not so much the first one or X-Files...

I'm curious if they'll ever mention a connection to Flint and Lady Jaye. Assuming they're even still alive in the IDWverse, that is.

> where's Faireborn going to be?

Babysitting TC

Probably because she got demoted and is now working at the White House.

>I'm curious if they'll ever mention a connection to Flint and Lady Jaye.
Barber's comment on the matter was "HMMMMMM".
What do you think, siblings or cousins?

Out of nowhere random guess: niece.

>Then again, for all we know the TF books will have Joes guest starring every few months from now on. I hope not.
Better them than total random human ocs. At least they're actual characters in their own books.
That being said, Ayana is probably going to be better since she's starring in her own series with Ian.

Hating Ian and Soundwave should be sins to be quite honest.
There's really no reason to, neither have done anything to warrant hatred. Wyatt is actually the first person I've ever seen to dislike IDW Soundwave and I'm not even kidding nor exaggerating when I say this.

>People hating Roberts
Nobody actually hates James.
A lot of people just think his writing was lacking in S2 and his characters are very well received by the fanbase.

Yeah, I have no reason why he'd dislike Ian beyond "I don't know him so therefore I don't like him."

Which seems to also be some fans' reasoning for disliking Revolution in general.

She is their daughter, but she wasn't born yet because of shenanigans involving time-travel.

>Nobody actually hates James.
Wrong.

Hell, even if you don't know anything about Ian, he was fantastic in Revolution alone, especially the transcript at the end.
Also, is he, like... bitter about three incredibly minor GI Joes getting killed off? About Colton being Wraith'd? Why else would he say that Ian should be killed "first"?

Heh, its funny how IDW loves killing off post-90s Joes.

So they are like G2 transformers then?

Barber's said they're bringing one of them back! As a different guy. Same name though.

Why do you hate Roberts?

>Action Man is cute and just an all around great guy only a monster would want to hurt him.
There's only ONE true Action Man in my book, pal!

youtube.com/watch?v=t2AKtpcRwYE

And Go-bots. Because thats HILARIOUS, right?

Still, at least its not as bad as TF vs GI Joe, yet. Poor Skidmark...

Yeah, Breaker.

Will the Adventure Team end up being the Team Venture of IDW?

Nah dude. Someone on Cred Forums has a very prominent hate boner for Roberts.

No, he was talking about one of the Joes killed in Revolution. Breaker had already been killed and replaced.

>Action Man is cute and just an all around great guy only a monster would want to hurt him.

So Spike then.

>why he'd dislike Ian beyond "I don't know him so therefore I don't like him."
And that's like the worst reason to hate a character ever.
People feel as though these titles are being forced on them yet the only people who should care are those who really care about exrid and so far they've been the least vocal ( if a good portion of them are even complaining at all).

Spike was confirmed to show up in Action Man's Revolution one-shot.

>Ian single handedly destroys Spike in a hand to hand duel

Heh. Now I'm imagining Atomic Man holding up Mayday.
>That thing is gonna kick like a badger, so you have to re-level quick. Aim for the bastard's neck. Hold 'er up there, Mike! I don't care if she wets herself and your head; that girl is gonna see somebody die! And if she doesn't want it to be her father, she'll have to pull that trigger!

>Every morning, I'd wake up with Atomic Man pointing a gun at my head. He'd click the empty chamber and go "Not today, Ayana...not today...

To be fair, a lot of people were outraged by Dying of the Light. I don't understand how people can still be praising his writing at this moment but disappointment is different than outright hating his work.

If only they included Agent Helix in that list...

The hate was long before Dying of the Light. This guy down right hated the very core of MTMTE for dare being part of the TF series.

I think Dying of the Light was rushed? MTMTE is ending on 57 since they're smashing crossovers left and right. It's moving onto 'Transformers: The Lost Light' after Revolution.

Geez. Did he just really hate the idea of gay robots in space?

That's idiotic, MTMTE will continue as normal with the only possible new thing being the Lost Light encountering a Solstar Space Knight or possibly dealing with some Dire Wraiths and I say possibly because the avoid Cybertronians Also it's not like the Lost Light hasn't dealt with aliens before, so yeah I am OK with them staying mad.

He didn't like the way the bots having a more organic out-look of things. Basically preferred how everything was before. Black and white fights.

>MTMTE is ending on 57 since they're smashing crossovers left and right.
Even issue #56 was lackluster with Prowl being so out of character for the sake of witty dialogue. What comes to mind is that part where he was struggling to remember leaving Fort Max for dead back at Garrus-9. While it was cute and kind of funny it doesn't make sense considering he had JUST returned from the events of Sins of the Wreckers.

>I'm seeing a lot of Transformer fans picking up ROM and even demanding Hasbro make toys of him.

Looking through an older tumblr post with Ryall posting pic related cover on his tumblr and some of the reblogged notes are TF fans getting excited about him

>"Who is this tiny little TF or robot? I must learn about them!"
>Who is ROM?!!
>Oh my lord, adorable.

So yeah there is interest and if you read his comic he is in fact kind of adorable.

Well he did said he screwed over so many people he's having trouble keeping track. Also, isn't his mind getting fucked? What happen to his nose bleeds?

Just for that I hope the Joes do take Skywarp, it will trigger a lot of the deep end Seeker fandom.

Seeker fandom is pretty damn old. Them getting angry is nothing new.

Personally, I imagine that that was him just being so fucking exhausted and done with everything that he 1) legitimately couldn't remember for a moment and 2) was being a dick for the sake of letting off steam.

>Also, isn't his mind getting fucked? What happen to his nose bleeds?
Yeah, all the combining is messing with his mind. Doesn't help that he's being kept apart from Devastator.

ROM may be adorable but god damn the current events makes me want to smack him silly.

Exactly.
The status quo doesn't change for them whatsoever beyond what we can assume will be very brief encounters here and there.
The only ones who I could understand being concerned are again, G.I Joe fans and exRiD fans who's stories are going to be loosely entwined with one another. Joe's are getting a TF squad mate and exrid's EDC are now the Joes.

>Though if Jones is going to be in Revolutionaries, where's Faireborn going to be? No mention's been made of her joining the Joes.

With the loss of the EDC she really came out losing didn't she?

She'll probably stay at the White House or get Wraith'd since the Wraiths will be infesting the White House although I would feel the latter would be a big waste of character and the only characters that it would affect would be Ayana and TC.

And yeah she's not a Joe, she seems vaguely familiar with them and she expressed some distaste towards them.

Flint's sister, no relation to Lady Jaye, maybe when Flint and Jaye have a daughter they named her after Marissa for whatever reason.

I guess if they have to make her be related to both of them? Probably make her Flint's half sister and Jaye's cousin from the side that's not related to Flint but that would be stretching it.

>Spoiler
That would be depressing.

He's so awkward and cool.
How could anyone not love ROM?

Lol, that's like the last thing she wants to do even if she secretly likes him.

I still don't know where their relationship stands, I think TC also likes her but he felt betrayed by the whole zombie seeker thing and she hasn't bothered to apologize (probably feels justified and she tends to dismiss him a lot).

I mean he was personally angry at HER out of everyone in the EDC and wasn't talking to her to the point of being childish about it.

I guess we'll see in the ExRid Revolution tie-in, white house with Wraiths and TC is suppose to go to the rescue.

This, I don't mind the Joes although I get the feeling Scarlett and her group won't be the ones interacting with them probably some of the other ones and they will stay in the background while the comic focuses on Optimus.

>Hating Ian and Soundwave should be sins to be quite honest

Lol Ian is quickly becoming the best boy human husbando of Cred Forums is Soundwave the Cybertronian husbando tho?

So with GI Joe as the States' answer to alien threats, what's the "sinister agency willing to go to any length to uncover the secrets of Microspace" going to be? Something not government-run?

>Still, at least its not as bad as TF vs GI Joe, yet. Poor Skidmark...

That whole thing scarred the fuck out of me, how and why would they do that?

I think he's getting over it. She does show a bit of an attachment. If anything they probably have a little mutual respect for each other.

And even then we saw Colton and the Joes on ExRid but they really could have been any other humans.

>She'll probably stay at the White House or get Wraith'd since the Wraiths will be infesting the White House
I really hope she doesn't die. She's one of the nicer humans and treats Spike like the shitter he is.

Fairbone to get chromed

Idw kissplayers when

>Idw kissplayers when
Never

>Lol Ian is quickly becoming the best boy human husbando of Cred Forums is Soundwave the Cybertronian husbando tho?
You know it and yes.
Close competition and rival being Thundercracker.

ROM can't into normal social interactions and he is fucked up and scarred by war.

In his comic he tells Darby that he would like to have the human military on his side but he doesn't trust them because they are full of Wraiths and he knows they will side with the Wraiths pretending to be humans over him.

Couple that with the fact that Cybertronians don't have a good reputation and are seen as warmongers across the galaxy (and who knows what the Solstar order thinks of them) you can see why ROM didn't want to talk to any of them.

Although I feel in the preview when Optimus is questioning him he should have told him about the Wraiths, although Gage said that ROM has tried the whole explaining of Wraiths thing before and people tend to think he's full of shit or lying.

>Fairbone to get chromed
DELETE THIS.

Saw on twitter that a guy who does reviews for Seibertron who wasn't happy with the first issue of Revolution says that Transformers fans should pick up Micronauts: Revolution next week, and that it reignited his hope for the event.

She could survive it for awhile it if what happened to Camille happens to her and the Wraith take over process is interrupted although she will slowly succumb to it and she will have to take a 50/50 life or death chance on ROM's neutralizer.

Or if she's unique like Darby the Wraiths can't take over her (although that has yet to be explained, ROM even wanted to analyze Darby's mind because of it IIRC).

But the fact that she's no longer the head of the EDC probably saved her life, she's no one in an important head position so the Wraiths maybe don't have that much interest in her since they demoted her and kicked her out to put Colton in charge.

First issues are usually the weakest afterall.

Yeah but MTMTE fans are fucking psychopaths that hate EVERYTHING that's not written by Roberts and Roberts alone so they see this shared universe as somehow "tainting" their precious comic.

Which make no sense considering how Roberts writes MTMTE as his fanfic in general and ignores the rest of the IDW universe anyway.

Shut up, she sees TC like her giant annoying little brother
I also honestly thought Faireborn and Ayana where gay for each other but apparently not

Although when TC found the zombie Seekers there was that written story about Susan Journeyer being upset about Josh Boyfriend betraying her trust, but I wouldn't put anything romantic there, it's more of someone you really trust betraying said trust.

How long do you think it will be until the Micronauts, Ian, and ROM start getting fanart? The one downside to all of this is that all these titles with the exception of Joe and TF are still obscure and unknown.

>MTMTE fans are fucking psychopaths that hate EVERYTHING that's not written by Roberts

Get off tumblr. It's narrowing your view.

All these franchise will be dead in the water because of sales anyway.

ActionMan is already kill, Micronauts will continue because they are pretty good and have strong sales, ROM will continue because IDW pushed him too hard not to have it last forever and the rest will last like a year at best before getting offed.

I'm pretty sure this is the first IDW Micronauts fanart on the internet.

Not soon enough.

Well aren't you a ray of sunshine.

That's BS. You're paying way too much attention to the vocal minority. Like how that snake lady (Name currently escapes me) is one person but speaks so damn loudly for everyone to hear.

Raksha?

Yes, Raksha.

Ian will get some fanart here and there because he's a handsome white male and he's charming as fuck and he'll have some fans at least. But it will all depend how much he interacts with other Transformers.

ROM will get fanart, fangirls like his design already and they didn't know anything about him.

Action Man dying was the suckiest but it gave us Revolutionaries so maybe it's for the best because his adventures continue (he'll go after the new Stormshadow and still fight against his evil waifu with his team) but now he has Kup, Blackrock, and Ayana with him.

Honestly the only other franchise I see dying is MASK because no one really knows what that is about and the older fans are already crying about Matt being black.

The other thing is that IDW titles don't need to sell as high as Marvel or DC titles so they will be OK plus when the Hasbroverse movies start kicking in it will be better for them.

>The other thing is that IDW titles don't need to sell as high as Marvel or DC titles

Unless you're Ghostbusters.

Isn't that still going on, just as a bunch of minis? Like TF used to be with the -ations.

I looked her up, holy shit WTF am I reading it's like a hardcore tumblrina that actually goes out D:

Meanwhile, Hitler is gonna be in TF5.

cinemablend.com/news/1559540/transformers-the-last-knight-will-feature-another-unexpected-time-period

This is gonna go over real well.

The Machination

Its still going, but none of the ongoings last more than a year and a half, tops. International is ending in November.

>Honestly the only other franchise I see dying is MASK because no one really knows what that is about and the older fans are already crying about Matt being black.

Also whoever is lettering is should be fired the letters are fucking AWFUL and eye destroying.

God I wish these movies wouldn't make so much good money, I mean they aren't the worst thing ever but I kind of want a new take on the Transformers when it comes to the movies.

Der Blitzwaffen?

This kind of shit has been around since the 90s. Tumblr just makes it easier for people like her to be noticed. It's silly to believe a few idiots like this represents the entire section of a fandom.

The theory is time travel.

But man, this is gonna piss off a few moms.

Oh shit, would they actually go there? Barber did say this when he was asked about them during that AMA...

>They're referenced in Action Man #4. It's definitely not impossible for those guys to show up again. In fact, maybe count on at least one...but maybe not where you most expect it.

So we're getting something to do with the Machination in probably one of the non-TF books.

Top 5 non-Transformer Revolutionverse characters?
>1) Action Man
>2) Acroyear
>3) Rom
>4) Marissa Faireborn
>3) Bryce Chan

I wouldn't call them psychopaths since they're pretty tame in their dislike of things, just very quick and annoying enough to say shit like, "This event wont be touching muh MTMTE, right?". I think the reason they whine so much about exRiD, Revolution, etc. Is because they probably read MTMTE as their first piece of TF fiction and now expect the British wit, light heartedness, and character driven story everywhere. Even MTMTE at its darkest still isn't that intense.

) Marissa Faireborn

1. ROM
2. D'rge
3. Action Man
4. Q'b
5. Terry Salmons

But Boco, for all you know, Q'b could be the Spike of the Solstar Order.

I wouldn't mind implied lewdish funny stuff happening between Cybertronians and humans like pic related but no kissing and explicit more pervy shit, KISS players was bad.

That said I wouldn't want that between Marissa and TC, they are feel like siblings, and TC is too childish for her anyway.

>D'rge
I honestly can't remember is Dirge still around?

...

Yeah, he's on Cybertron. Dirge should meet D'rge and Mainframe should meet Mainframe.

>Jem and MLP still aren't part of revolution
>Inhumanoids never
>Army Ants never
I'm still salty

>get Figureoa to design WW2 TFs
>have someone else draw the series
What was Dreamwave thinking?

Inhumanoids might happen if and when Hasbro revives it. Too bad they don't own the name anymore, though.

>Salmons
>taste this good
Who are you and what did you do with Boco

Yeah! Shockwave could meet, opps forgot.

1) Action Man
2) ROM
3) Acroyear
4) Darby Mason
5) Miles Mayhem

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shockwave_(G.I._Joe)

1)ROM
2)Action man
3)Acroyear
4)Baron Karza
5)Scarlett

>Is because they probably read MTMTE as their first piece of TF fiction

This is important. TF fans who were fans already before getting in MTMTE are bro tier. People who got in though MTMTE alone are he vocal shitbags and pure cancer that are shitting up the entire fanbase.

Oooh you mean because of what happened to him, nevermind.

Yep. Scoop could also meet Scoop, but I think it would be neat of GI Scoop teamed up with Longtooth and Circuit since they're all news reporters.

>People who got in though MTMTE alone are he vocal shitbags and pure cancer that are shitting up the entire fanbase.
You can apply this logic to anyone starting off in any time period of the fandom. Beast Wars, TFA, ect.

I would add Snake Eyes to my top list and bump a character but he hasn't done anything in Revolution (I love IDW Snake Eyes tho).

I know from the solicits he will be sent to infiltrate Autobot City and I honestly cannot wait because it's going to be wild, also Snake Eyes has a history of unsettling and disturbing Cybertronians in crossovers because he's silent, doesn't show his face, and his behavior is weird to them.

Can wraiths take over animals?

>Shut up, she sees TC like her giant annoying little brother
It's only a matter of time before TC learns about slashfics, shipping (probably already aware of this one) crack pairs, and the burgeoning online fetish scene for giant robots. It's bad enough in our reality, but in their reality said giant robots exist. And sure they murdered a bunch of people but has bad taste ever stopped or even slowed down fetishists? Hell, some might say the bad taste is built right in. Especially with scat/piss freaks.

Think dire wraiths are infectious as hell? The internets addiction with sex is far worse.

Yes, plants, and inanimate objects too apparently

>I know from the solicits he will be sent to infiltrate Autobot City and I honestly cannot wait because it's going to be wild
Yeah, it's been said we're getting both Snake Eyes vs. the Micronauts plus Snake Eyes vs. Arcee.

So there's a chance a particular dog can still die in a terrible way.

Eh I know a couple of cool people who started with MTMTE

But man I really got annoyed with people who just want to talk about gay robots, and I am OK if they do it in their own blogs or whatever but for awhile that was all of the Transformer threads on Cred Forums and I mean yeah gay robots are cool and all but other interesting shit happens in that comic.

>I have no mouth and I must kiss

Don't even joke about that user.

SOME DAY BOCO.

Fuck you.

>tfw my friend just got into the comics and started off with MTMTE.
>he thinks most of the characters in exrid suck because they're morally bankrupt or true neutral
It's very annoying desu. Though I will say that exrid S1 was kind of boring until they reached the DC preludes.

so does Revolution show any signs that MTMTE/LL will acknowledge the rest of the fucking universe, or will it all be them farting around in Robertsland again?

>Gay robots in Transformer threads

You do know that shit has been going on LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before MTMTE? In fact, after MTMTE it has died down drastically.

>Q: Doc, Buster, or Bob?
>Barber: Buster. She's based on my dog.

She's safe I would be more worried about Marissa or any other organic being, if Buster ever dies is from passing away from old age when Barber's IRL dog dies or something emotional.

It won't be by Wraith rape.

>exRID's cast are the ones who are morally bankrupt

which of these books contains fucking Whirl, again?

Snake Eyes vs Matt Trakker
>It's just Snake Eyes clinging to the Thunderhawk's roof and trying to stab Matt while he does flips and stunts to get Snake Eyes off
Snake Eyes vs Action Man
>Ian decides within 10 seconds that it's not worth fighting him and runs away

Yes but it went full force with MTMTE because they started having and acknowledging gay robots.

And yes I know because I talked about gay robots LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before MTMTE but it's not the only thing I like to talk about.

Okay but which book contains Prowl, Arcee, Starscream, Galvatron, and Spike again?

Wrape?

The MTMTE tie-in stars The Scavengers.

After Revolution is over who knows.

Is Karza the most heroic of all the Hasbroverse villains? He has done literally nothing wrong. He's just trying to save his universe, but Daigon keeps getting in the way.

which book contains Whirl, a racist captain who throws a party over other people dying, a guy who manipulated memories, and literally robot hitler in it, again?

>full force with MTMTE because they started having and acknowledging gay robots.
Which makes sense at the time since it was such a rare thing to happen officially.

The past few threads this year has been pretty darn tame. Mostly dead though.

>guy who manipulated memories, and literally robot hitler in it, again?
Chromedome is a good kid who just fell into a really bad line of work and Megs is in a state of repenting and brooding.

Rodimus and Getaway are shitters but even their worst crimes combined don't hold a candle to Prowls extermination of a thousand neutrals. Hell, half of the things that happen on the LL are thanks to Prowl screwing them over.

Guys. They're both full of sin.

Yep.
The writers even wrote him with the intention of being a "good" villain. He loves his wife a lot and just wants to save his universe. I can't wait to see more of him.

>Snake Eyes vs. the Micronauts
Oh shit Acroyear fight with Snake Eyes, hell yes

>Snake Eyes vs. Arcee
That one is going to be really good because Snake Eyes is going to have to be fucking sneaky and go full gear Ninja OP if he has any chance of defeating her

Also Acroyear and Arcee are the two characters I see not screaming and freaking out about fighting Snake Eyes

It's for the best although Snake Eyes would pursue, but I get the feeling if he bullies Ian he will aggro his friends.

Well MTMTE has Prowl now

Dire Wrape

Honestly he's too good for Shazraella, too bad he is in love with her.

The sex must be bomb I guess.

>never have read whatever this is
>white and black mecha centaurs are fighting about time travel
what?

With Karza's centaur mode, I imagine their sex life is... interesting.

>be working for Karza
>be living right underneath his quarters
>hear nothing but the clopping of hooves all night long

imgur.com/a/WqIA9

That Japanese female TF comic got translated.

Arcee? Sweet.
I was expecting him to fight Soundwave seeing how he might be one of the only people capable of detecting Snake Eyes.

Also, Acroyear is fucking fearless, it's going to be like fighting the world's smartest wasp. A wasp capable of gouging your eyes out.

>Jumping crotch shot
>Dimples on ass
>facial
>Cock hungry everywhere

Jesus christ Sakamoto. I like your art but calm the fuck down.

Heh.
It makes you feel for all the little new model Acroyears that have to sleep beneath their quarters. At least he doesn't make horse sounds.

>Q'b could be the Spike of the Solstar Order.
Just the idea of a cube being an absolute prick is hilarious. Best cube.

It's Micronauts, one of the most entertaining Hasbro books being made by IDW!

>Edgy as usual, Q'b.
>Of course I'm edgy, you stupid git. I'm a cube. I'm nothing but edges.

Saved.
Is this by a comic book artist? It looks familiar.

Isn't he the one doing the TAAO Revolution tie-in? Yikes.

Laurent Zimny. He's done covers before.

zimnyl.tumblr.com/

I thought he was too, but it's actually going to be Naoto Tsushima.

Snake Eyes is a scary fucker

Acroyear, Arcee, and Snake Eyes are like the deadliest fighters in their respective teams and Acroyear and Arcee are going to give Snake Eyes the hardest fights of his life (not to mention going from fighting a smol enemy and then a giant ass one).

Micronauts are tiny for humans, it's going to be crazy seeing them with Cybertronians.

I also like that art.

The cover's actually by Pitre-Durocher. This is what Tsushima's art looks like.

I don't even think the Cybertronians will see them.
Is that IDW Beast wars?
Needless to say the art is pretty cool, kind of worried it will look that stiff though assuming this is older art.

>ww2 transformers

Michale baysed giving me what i always wanted

Does it actually hurt Cybertronians when their eyes crack or shatter. Prowl walks around without one, MTMTE characters are constantly cracking them, and at some point half of Soundwaves visor way missing and you could see his bare eyeball (which was nightmare fuel).

Its Beast Wars Uprising, a comic from FunPub.

Hell in a handbasket?

No, it's Alone Together, a comic TFCC did based in their Beast Wars Uprising continuity.

I think one too many punches to the face caused Prowl to become jaded or turned off any pain receptors.

They have eyeballs, just like humans. Eyeballs that can be destroyed, which yeah, hurts like a bitch.

I dunno but I think it's more the fact that Starscream was freaking out about getting a bomb on his eye more than anything.

?

That's why when you fight a Transformers you always aim for the eyes.

>face for a face

I know he's pissed at Starscream here because Starscream killed his family (although he didn't consciously do it)

I forgot what he did to him here, I thought CC was the one who messed up his face

>Beautiful Eyes
I don't recall anything special about Megatron's eyes maybe by human standards Cybertronians have pretty eyes.

>I don't recall anything special about Megatron's eyes maybe by human standards Cybertronians have pretty eyes.
They glow red and are usually shaped a bit different than the rest of the bunch. They're more narrow and slanted.
Does Snake eyes always make sure to blow up Starscreams face?

Isn't that actually a thing now? Not numb as a result of punches but I remember Prowl being taken to jail during combiner wars and casually drawing on laser prison bars, Optimus even pointed it out asking, "Doesn't that hurt?" And Prowl just smiled responding he didn't even notice.

Hah I guess Baroness just has a type.

> Optimus even pointed it out asking, "Doesn't that hurt?" And Prowl just smiled responding he didn't even notice.

Hard to tell. Guess we won't really know until Ratchet or Rung gets a hold on him.

Are there even any medics left on Cybertron? First Aid just left.

Fixit and Flatline.

I forgot they existed.

A medic called Flatline doesn't make someone feel safe with them.

Why do we never talk about this? This is the single most twisted thing Prime has ever said but nobody ever brings it up.

It's been so long and Ramondelli's art is forgettable. Something about the dinobots in IDW being on the same level of brutal dickery as the Decepticons.

That and they're blood thirsty fools even when they're off the battlefield with the exception of Scoop who's actually really chill.

Is the Matrix of Leadership Optimus currently have a fake or the real deal?

It's one half of the matrix but yes it is the real deal.

Aubrey on Joe makes me fucking Excited JoeVSf was the best Joe has been in awhile

and I'll I loved all of the volumes of IDW Joe getting more Sci-fi Makes me happy we had Tom Clancy"s G.I.Joe now we are getting Sunbow for adults.

Plus Bear Mode Shipwreck makes me happy.

Right? I'm really looking forward to all the new Sci-fi elements. It's huge change in the status quo as far as G.I Joe comics go. The art also kind of reminds me of Akira for some reason? I think it's the mouths.

Because it was a ruse to goad the killer into attacking them.

Get ready for lewdness.

...

...

...

...

Megatron looks so distressed.

...

...

So mega empress is Esdeath in robot form?

...

>Transformers is for kids in Japan!
>All this official cheesecake lewdness

Feels unfair there's no official beefcake lewdness.

Yeah I like the fact that Sitterson said he was inspired by the cartoons especially since most of the comic Joe writers always take cues from Hama's comic.

I mean Hama's run was good and all but I am ready for something different, it's also why I liked Gi Joe Renegades.

On the bright side we get official gays? Our fanservice tends to be less lewd and more shipper pandering.

Sooo this person is an IDW Transformers artist? Living the dream.

Nah.
He works on the Takaras toy exclusive comics.
He's only a guest artist from time to time on MTMTE (And sadly a lot of his original sketches get scrapped because they're too lewd).

> sadly a lot of his original sketches get scrapped because they're too lewd

He just needs to make a doujinshi or something.

I like how everyone is theorizing Skywarp joining the Joes here and over at allspark they're convinced it's TC (but we just had TC with humans so I don't think it will be him).

That would have disturbed me even more if it was in the comic, I mean holy fuck.

It would have been perfect tho.

Just saw this, fuck yeah Major Bludd!

Cred Forums vs allspark.
Who's prediction will be right?
The answer is obviously neither, it will be Blitzwing and cause an outrage.

I kind of wish Blackrock would stay in his little robot mode.

He needs love too.

But Skywarp is the Seeker that no one cares about. Blitzwing at least has a following of fujoshi amongst the Japanese.

I like Blitzwing, I really want it to be Skywarp but I am cool with Blitzwing.

Poor ROM he just wants to kill Dire Wraiths in peace

>but I am cool with Blitzwing.
Same here to be honest.

I had to remind myself when Skywarp was at the EDC (now Joe) base and it was in the last issue (I have bad memory).

Also he got the 101 on the Joes too although I am sure most of what Marissa said probably went over his head.

>Ayana is shit at cheering her up
>Skywarp rubs it in

It sucks being Marissa, even Ayana got to stay and become a Joe.

Also in retrospect, knowing Colton is a Dire Wraith and after reading the Rom Revolution tie-in this just gives me the creeps.

>Col-Toon
Skywarp, you genocidal manchild please stop being cute. we're supposed to be mad at you for what you did during AHM.

Oh yes he was terrible but it's funny how life takes you to places you'd least expect

I mean TC, Soundwave and Megatron probably never thought they were going to end with the Autobots.

I feel like Skywarp will be more useful since he can teleport and he still needs someone to help him stay solid.

Although Blitzwing isn't going nowhere anytime soon.

Fuck just let the Joes keep both of them, they need it.

>Some of the two most thuggish, stupid, violent Decepticons become Joe pets
There is way too much irony.

It's interesting now it's possible to blame the sheer suckiness of humanity in IDW as being infiltrated by aliens - and not, this time, by Cybertronians. At least not exclusively and it still isn't clear how much of Blackrock's ideas on how the Enigma altered humanity is true.

I love ARAH as much as the next Joefag but Christ has it gotten stale, in my opinion Joe should be a more realistic version of SHIELD and Hama has done that well but theres no stakes cause he doesnt fucking plan anything out. So all it takes is him forgetting he killed someone and boom they are back from the dead.

Van Lente's run is fucking fantastic BTW super underrated and Hashtag is a cutie.

Oh shit he's leading the October Guard too....best part of the second Cobra series finally gets some pay off.

Yeah, but they still have their idiots (Spike). Seriously, it helps explain all the stupid shit they've done for so long.

Hama did good for what he did for Marvel and his new run started out OK but yeah I got bored with it and eventually dropped it.

I am looking forward to what Sitterson is going to do with the franchise since he said he wanted to introduce the sci-fi elements and I feel like he can get outlandish with it and I think for a Joe team that's in a world with ROM and Dire Wraiths and has a Transformers with them it will fit perfectly.

>Poor ROM he just wants to kill Dire Wraiths in peace
ROM wants to be Hardcore but the Joes, the Cybertronians, and the Revolutionaries won't let him.

Still it's not like Cybertronians haven't been hilarious fuckups on their own and Earth payed a heavy price. The Dire Wraiths surely didn't want Cybertronians present at their tea party and fortunately Decepticons AND Autobots made themselves easy to hate. Marissa has proven more open minded than most but there is little love lost. At least she was open to working with the Autobots when Galvatron showed his hand.

Does crossing over with Transformers ever work out well for Bludd? I'd be worried for him, frankly.

>At least she was open to working with the Autobots when Galvatron showed his hand.

>The Dire Wraiths surely didn't want Cybertronians present at their tea party and fortunately Decepticons AND Autobots made themselves easy to hate

Yeah when the Wraiths mentioned that they avoided the Cybertronians I kind of lol'd at that because I really understand how even a race of conquering parasitic shapeshifting aliens wouldn't want to deal with their destructive shit.

I just imagine how they felt when the Cybertronians starting popping up on Earth, probably had a FUUUUUUUUU moment when Optimus annexed Earth, and they most likely have tried everything to make Transformers go away without calling attention to themselves, then probably FUUUUUUUUU'ed even louder when ROM arrived.

And yeah Wraiths are smart and turning the native population against the target is easy for them especially since they can blend in whereas someone like ROM and the Cybertronians don't, pic related is them using social media and smart phones plus ROM's actions to turn humans against ROM.

And yeah Cybertronians made turning people against them really easy because their war fucked Earth over.

BTW Wraith Stalkers are nightmare fuel

The thing, they should know at this point that there were 2 factions, specially the military, and that the Autobots are practically pacifists compared to the Decepticons. Their reaction towards them made sense back in the Ongoing (I honestly can't believe I'm typing this), but in RID, it's like they completely forgot everything, save for the fact that the Autobots don't want to hurt humans.

I really want to know what's happening in ROM, but I haven't seen a story time for the whole thing yet.

I can look up links from past Win-O-Threads and post it here if you want just give me a minute.

Sure, thanks.

If you look around desuarchive.org you might see some storytimes but they have other revolution comics.

ROM #0 and #1 are kind of meh #2 and #3 and the Revolution issue are good tho.

I'll probably check out Micronauts as well. I hope it's even better than the Marvel run and I really want a Rom toy.

Pretty sure at some point Hasbro will make a ROM toy especially since people have been asking for it.

Some TF fans are even starting to like him.

Knowing modern Hasbro, it will be an under-detailed, unarticulated piece of crap.

Just like the original then?
Heyyoh!
youtube.com/watch?v=ktFvrEQKdjw

I laughed throughout the whole video.

Ohhh old toys were really something.

>he Autobots are practically pacifists compared to the Decepticons
I'm not sure about this in IDW. Optimus' actions certainly aren't helping, either.

Save him.

Wait, who thinks it's going to be Thundercracker? I haven't seen that.

>Yeah when the Wraiths mentioned that they avoided the Cybertronians I kind of lol'd at that because I really understand how even a race of conquering parasitic shapeshifting aliens wouldn't want to deal with their destructive shit.

I'm not sure that is the case, at least in the long run. They've been "evolving" (their own words) and obviously pushing the limits of their ability to infect/corrupt/co-opt different forms of life and even technology. Their endgame for Rom seems to be to try to infect him, make him one of them. I wouldn't put it past them to actually manage to merge with a Cybertronian, albeit through a combination of their magic and their technology.

Frankly I've been getting some Infestation vibes from all this, considering that gave us human and Cybertronian zombies.

>Attack on Tiny Titans

That was true, at first, but they gradually grew into pacifist in the ongoing. Sure, they made those head exploding chips during RID, but those got taken out almost immediately, and while Optimus is essentially taking over a planet, the only bad thing he did was kill Galvatron in cold blood.

Optimus' "I bring you freedom, as long as you agree with my decree that you're part of my territory," isn't helping.

see
I guess they'll be exploring those ideas (dunno if Ryall made a typo with organic metal beings or if he was referring to inorganic metal beings, because one has the connotations of being a flesh and metal cyborg type hybrid) and Gage addressed the idea of the Wraiths avoiding them separately (and that they won't go into detail about why they are avoiding them just yet until the story comes out).

The fact that they were partially avoiding them because they weren't ready to take on them yet isn't also out of the question, they certainly weren't expecting them on earth and D'rge seemed upset about having to deal with them and even mentions how they had success in avoiding them until now.

They certainly are trying new things tho, Axiom being one of them.

And I forgot to mention that yeah they also seem to want the Cybertronians powers, and that one Wraith sees it as an opportunity to fight use it against Rom and the Solstar order but as they are now they most likely can't do anything against Cybertronians.

You forgot when the wraith laptop got all rapey. Bio-circuitry and all that. And the cell phone and gun they gave out later.

As for organic metal beings I'd say he's referring to them as living metal, which generally speaking they are in most continuities. IDW is one of them. It's why Tarn was having prisoners of war smelted down for raw materials to build MTOs. We also know they can be infected by contagions that are otherwise generally considered an fleshy problem. Infestation was all kinds of bullshit, though. Took fucking forever to get Kup back.

Oh ok that makes sense, thanks.

I guess they were avoiding them for another good reason them.

>but as they are now they most likely can't do anything against Cybertronians.
I sincerely doubt this. I do not think this is going to be a rock paper scissors moment when the various villains from these crossovers are all trumped by one particular faction or another. Cybertronians, for all their size, won't be the top dogs in this fight. Otherwise Rom will look particularly stupid when he doesn't bother to recruit any of them while they're all on Earth together and have a shared foe in common.

Same as with Rom, I'd imagine. Hiding and biding their time, making plans, etc. I cannot imagine they want to hold Earth and just plan on nevertheless hiding from the Cybertronians forever. At some point they're going to have to deal with them, one way or another. May be through their magic or some other wacky scheme.

It'll be interesting to see if after this crossover the various titles don't continue to bump into each other, and by that I mean beyond the obvious stuff like we already know GI Joe will have a Transformer.

Optimus is diplomatic but he's sure as hell not a pacifist when it comes to literally everything else that isn't human.

Whatever happened to that space ogre that used to travel with Orion, Wheelie, and Hardhead?

Gynax or something like that? Dunno, maybe him and Wheelie are still out having adventures.

With the Dire Wraith infiltrating governments and the fact that they are a space fairing advance culture I'd imagine they're partially responsible for the rise in anti-cybertronian technology around the world. It isn't all Blackrock, though I'm sure he likes to think it is. And we saw that they were at least one half of the Axiom project (not sure when the other guy was converted, though, or how much of the original host's knowledge and abilities they retain).

Hell, I'm sure they're part of it just because they don't want a Transformer inspired arms race that might endanger their own plans.

Garnak. He and Wheelie were on the Skyroller keeping an eye on the Dead Universe while Orion Pax was dealing with Nova Prime. No clue what happened afterward.

>No clue what happened afterward.
Someone should tweet Barber about it.

Why does the western fanbase have to hate all the fun stuff?

They dont think its funny and get butthurt over it?

Of course they do, they're calling it horrible sexist crap and worse than The Beast comic.

Well, it is sexist, but if they cant laugh about it, its their problem.
Victorion has bigger tits anyway.

But who cares!
Have a funny G1 fancomic.

...

Because it's stupid and attracts the worst kind of fanbase.
I like lewd but I can just watch harem anime or literally anything else for that. All my favorite franchises have turned into waifushit and now they're bad, like really, really, bad. Trust me when I say this is the last thing you want occurring on a regular basis. There's a reason the nips prefer the western side of TF over their own.

...

...

...

...

...

>favorite franchises have turned into waifushit
Can I hear an example?

Fire Emblem.

>ROM reprints
That's literally the only thing I cared about when I heard IDW had got the ROM license, so that's neat!
Is it wrong that I was waiting for a dick shot in this comic?

AH! Okay.
You poor fuck.
Anyway, here's a funny clip of the girl who made the dinobot SoS comic.
herzspalter.tumblr.com/post/149795280244/the-goofs-in-this-show-are-gorgeous-sometimesthis

A rare Megatron!

If it is, I don't want to be right.

As a fan of waifushit this post offends me

I love this idea that the Transformer that joins G.I.Joe will be a Decepticon, if this was a decade ago you bet your ass it would have been Bumblebee. It's great that IDW Transformers has gotten to the point where any crazy thing could actually happen

Blitzwing makes the most sense seeing how he's a tank, a plane and a robot. He's two military vehicles and a soldier all rolled up in one he's perfect GI Joe material.

Altho who knows. Isn't Arcee going to fight Snake Eyes at one point in Revolution? Maybe she's the one who comes too.

The last time someone had the licenses to do a G.I. Joe/TF book, the Autobots turned into Cobra vehicles and Optimus used Megaton's cannon on his arm.

>Altho who knows. Isn't Arcee going to fight Snake Eyes at one point in Revolution? Maybe she's the one who comes too.
Probably not, as she's still going to be a cast member in the Optimus book.

Two more pages are out.

...

The robots are so good. Also, Oz is a pretty cool protagonist. He's a smug shit but not as cocky as say, Rodimus.

>It would have been Bumblebee
They may as well just have no Transformer at all.

I like how Oz is a pacifist without being overbearing about it and without letting it stop him from kicking ass when he needs to.

but thats not True.

If they push the shared universe angle he'll probably be as articulated and Detailed as the Joes. especially since he isn't a Movie based figure.

3A Toys is making a Rom figure as part of their 16-inch line.

cbr.com/sdcc-3a-toys-trumpets-rom-gi-joe-and-transformers-collectibles/

Well there goes my wallet.
Hopefully it's not too expensive.

>Hopefully it's not too expensive.
Your hopes are gonna be in vain bro

Hope is a lie.

IIRC when ROM was in that Wraith town some Wraiths were trying to posses him but they couldn't get around his armor, D'rge however was using magic to do it but then Camilla distracted him and then ROM got free and kicked his ass.

Blitzwing is a tank although the way Miles left him he probably can't do much of anything unless the Autobots or some Cybertronians take pity on him and agree to help him out (and then i just see him going after Miles for revenge).

Skywarp kind of also makes sense since he can teleport, it's a useful ability and the older IDW Cobra and Joe comics dealt with them trying to master teleporting technology so he makes sense too.

I don't think Arcee will be able to unwind her fighting tension with just humans and she'll probably stay with Optimus.

I liked that crossover, I also liked when they went to the past to save the Autobots and they took that one jumpy Cobra Viper to 1937 (Percy I think was his name) and everyone gave him so much shit for being a nervous wreck, only Optimus way nice to him.

Lol, are Optimus and Baroness having a sexy competition? I dunno WTF ROM is doing

>I don't think Arcee will be able to unwind her fighting tension with just humans and she'll probably stay with Optimus.
I don't even think we've gotten Arcee's perspective on humanity? For all we know she might find them icky like Sunstreaker did during the -ations days.

So far her attitude seems to be annoyed by them and a little angry that she can't fight them back, especially since they are trigger happy with her.

Then again her being annoyed is kind of her default view on a lot of things.

But Arcee can't kill humans she took that vow, in a way if the Joes go against Cobra or other humans she might be useless if she goes by that.

Skywarp or Blitzwing wouldn't have that problem.

Yeah I remember her not treating Verity too kindly during SOTW even after Verity made it clear that she had nothing to do with Prowls abduction.

She'll probably develop a liking for them as 'Optimus Prime' progresses seeing how she, Soundwave, and Jazz are the other major characters besides Optimus.
I mean, even Prowl likes humans (who aren't Spike Witwicky).

I can see him liking humans since he did save that one little girl and got a building to fall on top of him because of it. Then that one cop saw what he did and let him go.

He also said he didn't want their race to be involved with Earth because they were going to fuck up the humans even further.

Spike gave him major trust issues tho and he never forgot about it either, although as shitty as Spike is I kind of like that animosity between him and Prowl is probably the major most interesting thing Spike has done.

Spike's only redeeming quality was to tell the chinese dude not to shoot Buster.

>I dunno WTF ROM is doing
Ribbon gymnastics obviously.

>G.I. Joe fighting aliens
Lunartix Empire when?

Huh, he was in a G.I.Joe vs Transformers comic I read the other day, one of the Devils Due ones I think. I didn't realize he was a reference to something, just though he was a generic alien design at the time.

Nope, he was an actual toy. There were a bunch of others too, but the toyline got canned and so they only got limited releases.

Literally all recycled Transformers names.

Not literally all. Most, yes, but not all.

>Manimals

Pity those never came out.

All the crazyness that Scioli's TF Vs GI Joe had and these guys didn't show up. Damn shame.

Battle Beasts were cooler.

Yeah, they were trying to push mutated plants between the plates in his armor, trying to get to whatever organic bits are left. For Hentai purposes, surely.

They aren't outright trying to kill Rom (though after their encounter D'rge expresses a wish to do just that), which does suggest they want to do something with him. Trying to possess one of their greatest enemies is the most logical reason for not just eliminating him.

>I guess they were avoiding them for another good reason them.

Cybertronians are giant metal autists who had a galactiv spanning war lasting 4 million years.

Entire civilizations, fuck entier RACES evolved, created civilisations and probably died off in the time period it took for Cybertronians to finish one war.

Decepticons especially burned entire planets to the ground just to use them as fuel for their war machine.

The entire galaxy has been literally shitting bricks because of the Cybertronians until the Galactic Council stepped in to try and help.

So it's not unreasonable that they are probably scared as fuck of them.

Can you even imagine if a race who can wage a 4 MILLION year war gets pissed off at you? ROM would be the least of their worries.

>So it's not unreasonable that they are probably scared as fuck of them.
They were directly competing for resources. Megatron wanted to cyberform worlds and employed (among other things) Phase Sixers to sterilize a planet beforehand. Jhiaxus went one step farther (into madness, as usual) and actually cyberformed Gorlam Prime so that the lifeforms were converted into mechanical based life.

If you're a space faring organic warrior race who relies on assuming the form of organics before consuming their worlds, Cybertronians are a huge nuisance. Your goals are entirely incompatible, and for the Dire Wraith their whole bag of tricks is around fucking with organics. Giant metal bastards just aren't something you're prepared to deal with.

At least it used to be that way. Now that they've "evolved" and expanded what they're capable of, either by themselves, through their magics, or by combining both of those with technology, well, we haven't seen what they are capable of yet.
