Ever since my run of five 24 hour comics I made in one year of grad school I have not been able to stick to the 24 hour format. I think a lot of it is lifestyle, back then it was just easier to hole up on my grad school's couch for a weekend with a whole bunch of junk food and the school's DVD library next door.

Well Dickens (duh) One thing I wanted to reference was how in the original Christmas Carol the first ghost is snuffed out by a candle extinguisher. I wanted to create a guy who was menacing but could be defeated by a similar method. Also the sheet over the head is just kind of a super generic ghost thing.

Not all these characters have names or were ever meant to be in any comic but I'll fill in what I can.

No name, I must have drawn this after playing Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes and thinking that the demon girl in that was hot.

Harriet: She's got black hair and brown and white fur that's supposed to resemble tan lines. Sometimes I've drawn her as a human or a horse, because I'm into TF.

Jalak: hard core grizzled combat veteran, parts of this character went into Edward Mutiny, a version of him also appeared in the story Cluck Cluck Crisis.

Cheryl: She's a seal, her design is based on a stuffed animal I've had since I was twelve.

Robin: She's a rabbit with really long legs, here design has gone through many really weird variations.

I don't remember this one's name but she was going to be in a fantasy story where she's a priestess for some church and she happens across an 'evil' artifact that attaches itself to her throat and makes her into a werewolf and has to flee the church.

Erika, I had an idea where the 70-Seas crew would visit an island that was sort of an old west/libertarian nightmare. Erika would be a cowgirl who fights with a lasso.

Sora, she's a human character who I keep turning into other things. in this case she dons a suit of armor that is either slowly turning her into a dragon, or that just ate her body so now it's just her spirit that animates the armor.

This is sort of a silver cybernetic ant. It's based on some webcomic I forget the name of.

BTW I have a very visual memory so it's pretty easy for me to remember what I was thinking during most of my sketches. It's why my college notebooks were mostly drawings.

Glory, She's a knight, she's supposed to be sort of a muscly fat I hadn't figured out how to draw yet.

Jackie is a fox who I once considered to be Rosaline's body guard.

Vladimir and his wife Etsuko, he's a warrior and she's a swordsmith, they have an infant sun. They would run into Hilde somewhere in the Metal Lands.

I'm not certain what the date of that book is but I'd guess sometime between 2006 and 2008.

(The exact date would be written on the front page of the sketchbook, so the user who has the book can be more specific than I)

Storytime user here to continue with some Latchkey Kingdom goodness(woulld have shown up sooner but my internet got messed up)
