Using as few spoilers as possible, does Hellblazer suffer from the same power creep and other problems as most capeshit? I've been interested in it for a while, but I'm nervous that even though it's not a strict superhero comic, it will suffer from many of the problems that kept me away from most capes.
The fact that it doesn't seem to have fifty non-canon miniseries by every creator and his mother is a big point in the "pro" column.
