I think Wrecking Crew would honestly make a good season long villain for a Marvel show. Everyone so far has been these all powerful megalomaniacs or super intelligent guys. But for the most part, they're usually allowed to capture the spirit of the character they're adapting.

Luke Cage in the 70s was bombastic and angry. Modern Luke Cage is calm but street-smart and opinionated. All the reviews have mentioned Colter's Luke Cage as being quiet, reserved, trying to stay out of the spotlight, doubtful, ect.

That seems like a reaction to me. They're repurposing Cage's personality in order to make it more palatable to tumblr and SJWs, that his line of growth won't make sense.

Maybe I'm overreacting. We'll have to see. I'm still excited, but it just seems like a "safe" take on Luke.
