The Tick was actually a pretty decent comic when it first started out. I also enjoyed some of the spin-offs, like Man-Eating Cow, Paul the Samurai, and Chainsaw Vigilante.

It's definitely Mac Tonight since the comic was out in 1990, I think the commercials stopped around that time. And of course there's also Mr. Planters (who's supposed to be a parody of Planters' Mr. Peanut) and Pillsbury Doughboy.
