beast looks fine, emma really doesn't look right for this role though.

This is way too on the nose.

It looks like a fan shop.

I was hoping for something a bit more gothic and an actually scary Beast

didn't the french do a movie like that a few years ago?

This.
It's like they tried to make him hunky when the whole point of his character is that he's a hideous beast.

I agree. Emma is gorgeous, but in the way models are. Belle is more traditionally beautiful.

It came out last week

>that halloween store dress on belle
shoomlah literally did all the work for them and they still went with that cheap looking thing

This looks stupid...

Yea this. She just looks like Emma Watson in these photos. I can already imagine every moment of her performance in my head.

NO, NO! NOOOOOOO!

Well this certainly looks unambitious

Beast looks okay.
Belle doesn't look like she's paying attention to him at all.
Both look like they were blatantly photoshopped onto that backdrop.

...

Agreed, there's no doubt that Watson is hot but they needed someone classically beautiful.

I'm sure Cocteau is looking down right now just TERRIFIED that this movie will blow his out of the water

Does Lumiere have a face here? I can't fucking see it. Am I blind or what?

WHAT THE FUCK

They made a live action Beauty and The Beast movie in 1946? Never knew that.

...

Beast doesn't look bad, but he looks kinda boring. Should have taken the cartoon's example and made some fur on his face differently colored, like the eyebrows. The small downward facing fangs also don't do much to help him look more beastly.

>Both look like they were blatantly photoshopped onto that backdrop.
I'm like 95% sure this is an completely photoshopped picture. not in an unofficial way, just a mock up concept art kind of photoshopped picture.

The best explanation I've seen is that it's a moment of them trying to blend in and pretend they're not alive, so his face is hidden.

For some reason I am getting flashbacks to that live action Bueaty and the Beast show from the late 80's with Ron Pearlmen

How was it?

>beast
>handsome dude with messy hair
DROPPED

Agreed, she lacks grace and class. She's a Brit slag and looks like one.

top b8 m8

>Emma Watson getting BRUTALIZED by Beast's 2-foot horsecock.

Worst adaption.

Not sure how I feel about all this yet.

Isn't this the film from 2014? I watched it and thought it had some fantastic visuals and the costume design was elegant, which gave it that wonderful fairy tale experience you expect and want. The problem was the two had almost no bonding time without them being cunts, so it felt really forced and like the love came out of nowhere. Too much time was spent on other characters instead of their relationship.

What is he looking at?

Shocker: it looks shit

>We are going to have cinderella costumes all over again
I heard there will be japanese BatB artbook/comics next year. Maybe this might be something to look forward to.

You're being way too dramatic about this, Cred Forums.

holy shit, beast is Handsome Man

Why would you add even less detail into her dress in a live action film? is right. This should be elegant and over-the-top, yet it looks like something cheap anyone could buy. It's even stranger that they added details to Beast's coat to further overshadow Belle.

Yeah I mean this isn't my ideal idea of whay a B&B live action movie should be about but I feel it's nothing to freak out over.

For a moment I thought I was in /cgl/

whoa whoa whoaaaaaaaaaaa.... Emma Stone in this shit? Huh.

Gaston trying to make Watson his personal slave.

Now he's really fucked.

I look forward to the wave of monster-dick-in-Emma-Watson porn this movie will create.

she is totally into beastiality

Wow is that real?

They are fucking everypossible thing with this movie haha

I maintain that there's no way they spent more than five seconds making this casting decision.

>"Who do we get to play the bookish brunette princess?"
>"How about the chick who played the bookish brunette in the biggest movie series of the last decade?"
>"Done, what's next?"

$5 says only one or two characters will have French accents while the rest of the cast have British accents

We'd better get a Kingdom Hearts Cinematic Universe with all these adaptations.

>Emma Watson casted as Belle
>Watson has grown up to be that annoying feminist
>Belle is one of those female leads that are pretty much useless
I give this forty thousand laughs.

are you saying this is on Disney XD or that its a joke you don't particularly fin funny?

or are you just using it generically to try to convince Cred Forums to hate it?

Isnt the beast supposed to be the ugly one?

...

...

Me on the right.

he's from behind, you can see some haircut behind the weird useless piece of metal

What do you mean? The costumes for the live action Cinderella were gorgeous.

>First the Jungle Book live action remake
>Now Beauty and the Beast live action remake
>a fucking Lion King live action remake is on the way too

What in the fuck is wrong with Disney? Why the fuck are they remaking their classic animated movies into shitty live action films? I feel awful knowing they are going to rape The Lion King now. Fucking christ

>Emma Stone
>Not Emma Winstead

...

...

...

Not thicc enough, belle should be thicc

The Mouse is fucking rolling in money and this is the best CGI it can get?

I love the original.
I want to fug Emma.
I am confused on how to proceed.
>watch movie
>be disappointed because unnecessary remake
>but horny as fuck

>that beast

JUST

>Why the fuck are they remaking their classic animated movies into shitty live action films?
Because people are going to see them. Jungle Book made a shit load of cash, iirc, and it isn't even one of their more popular movies by today's standards.

I'm more worried that the Beast looks like a beta faggot. He should be scary.

Jungle Book was pretty good though. Different enough from the original that it stood out, and charming in its own way. Only major complaints are understandably shoehorned in songs and no vultures.

Beast never looked scary in the original except when he was trying to spook Belle's dad. And he looked completely neutered as a human.
The problem with this incarnation is, he already looks too much like the uninteresting human prince.

I want to bury my face in that chair.

>We will never see a live action Sword in the Stone or The Black Cauldron

....not sure how I feel about this...

What kind of shitty dress is that. This is set in Rococo France, why's her dress some ugly ass modern shit.

He was never scary in the original. In fact, everyone preferred his beast look over his human look.

Pretty sure Sword in the Stone is on the list already, and they're making movies based on the book series the Black Cauldron is from.

>they're making movies based on the book series the Black Cauldron is from.
If they're fast, they can even re-enlist John Hurt for the Horned King and can save any make-up costs

>XD
Yep he looks like shit

Reminder tim burton is making dumbo one

Can't wait to see how Johnny Depp will portray Dumbo.

>Burton Pink Elephants on Parade

Is this real? Like, really real? Holy shit if it is.

Horns facing back, dreamy fangs instead of grotesque tusks, regular-ass looking mouth, not even a hint of underbite. Just doesn't look right to me.

The others are right about Emma. She is simply not a good casting choice for Belle. Belle is expressive, wide-eyed, has a look of optimism in her face. Emma Watson meanwhile constantly looks (and sounds) like she's on the verge of crying. Maybe, just maybe I'll be surprised, but something tells me that this was just a moronic casting choice.

...

I hope in the actual film it's even more nightmarish. I'm looking forward to it.

It's 21st century Disney user. Even their PG-13 superhero movies are an icing cake.
