Only the note that if he's unfit he'll have his card stolen is fair at this point.

Yeah that was a very rare case of the examiner not living up to expectations. As long as the examiner can reasonably justify their actions they stand by their decisions.

All that is required to pass is the examiner's approval. They are not testing any particular set of skills or criteria, literally all that is required to pass is the examiner saying "yup that's good enough for me". That's what it means to test worthiness.

Despite the story of part 5 being empirically smaller in scale than part 3, Italian gangsters somehow have ridiculously powerful stands that make for some really anticlimactic fights. Cause nothing he did was bad enough to fail him. Examiners will set fail conditions for their tests, if you avoid those they don't really have any reason to fail you. Being unconscious and carried through parts of the exam or being helped by friends, none of that violated any of the fail conditions set by the examiners. If they were against it they would have said so or made rules against it, but none of them did. Except Netero. He expressly forbid being helped by outsiders in his match, because he wanted his exam to be personal and one on one between applicants. He made that a fail condition.

Also the real test comes after. Those licenses they have are only provisional, not full licenses. To become a full Hunter you have to learn Nen, which requires extremely arduous physical and mental effort. The exam serves two very important purposes of weeding out people who are too weak to learn Nen, so they don't wast the trainers' time, and to weed out people without the right personality. And before you say anything no, that doesn't mean stopping homicidal pedo clowns. At least not while Netero is in charge.

Yeah but my issue still remains. Let's say Leorio was completly unworthy. Like imagine he's a spoiled child with no skills at all. He could have been physically carried by a worthy hunter through the entire exam past the initial filter with the fox guards and we could say he passed that still with compassion. The problem is that child would still not actually fail any of those conditions despite obviously being unworthy, the only actual mark for individual skill is like you said, the final test. But the final test just plain didn't happen for Leiorio, he won by default because a murder happened early.

this however is fair, to say that the true test remains and he's still vulnerable if he's weak is fair, i'm only complaining about the test before this because of how little he actually contributed.

This here is the original working draft of the fapfic that I was writing for the 4th-of-July marathon; I realized with about a week to showtime that I had nowhere to go with it on account of just not having any inspiration or drive.

I wound up replacing this with the Sinon fic that DID get posted. If nothing else, the experience taught me a valuable lesson: if you're gonna write masturbatory fanfiction, make damn sure you're writing about a character you would actually want to fuck.

I've been here since the beginning. When One Piece started on the block there was one guy who tried to dump the manga here in preshow, he gave up and a second guy did it before stopping too.

Then the second guy started doing the manga for the previous week's OP episode for some reason? That was dumb. Anyway when that turned out to be a dumb idea and people didn't like it taking up space he tried to do his own Recap at the end to be popular like Bart Meister and the others. He failed because his recaps were boring and his jokes fell flat.

So he ended with this big edgy fuck you to Toonami General saying we couldn't appreciate true talent and said he'd leave forever. Instead he just started harassing Classy Recap user though since this guy is a little bitch with no talent. I think he's still doing that

And just like a hand demon, We won't be seein' Toonami again. Well, not till next week, at least! We're speeding toward a bittersweet week in 7 days: The ending of One Punch Man. On one hand, we'll be losing a great show that's been a ratings driver for it's entire run. On the other hand, it leaves a slot for Jojo, another show many people have waited for since the revival happened!

From the beginning of the big battle of the Cell Games, a simply "Ok" episode, The Maiden of Revolution or the Angel of Death?, and Going Merrily through the Gates of Hades, to whatever happened on Naruto, A rivalry that transcends even "death", and Parasyte's final infestation, it's been a fun night!

They'll always come times where you look foolish. Or days where you can't stop making mistakes. Those kinds of days are the ones that describe the kind of person you are. How do you respond to such adversity? DO you panic until you're in too deep? Do you keep trying, whether or not those efforts become fruitful? Or do you usually come out of the tailspin and pull things back to normal through sheer force of will? All three are perfectly explainable and nothing to be ashamed of, but it's something to watch about yourself.
