What is the difference between U.S. and British Dennis the Menace? I remember watching the old U.S. cartoon reruns in the '90s along with Richie Rich (I used to get the two confused all the time -- didn't help that the characters looked pretty much the same in their cartoon depictions and that Macaulay Culkin played both in the live action films).

The timing of this has always weirded me out a bit.
Also the difference is that UK Dennis was a fucking terror, who bullied, rioted, ruining and fought. He was basically a kid punk who you would NOT want to meet, let alone be in the same class as. He would fuck you over as soon as look at you. He was a right twat, and he was amazing for it.

USA Dennis was basically just a rascal who got up to hijinks.
