Civil War II: Kingpin storytime

Storytiming the first 3 issues of this mini, since nobody storytimed the 2nd or 3rd issues.

The cover is a bit misleading.

...

Fisk is playing the poor oppressed victim card it seems

...

Let's play a game, try and identify everyone at the table.

Jigsaw raises a good point, one that Tony Stark clearly never considered

...

Kingpin must have some really thick fat if those bullets didn't hit any organs

So what exactly happened to Fisk in San Francisco?

>Monica, Captain Falcon and Night Thrasher
Pretty random characters to show up here I must say

Monica took the name from a blonde man and then another blonde man took it from her, get your facts straight Fisk

Do they really not have any legal grounds for arresting Fisk for things he's already done?

All caught up with 2 and 3 already. Really liking this book so far.

I'm pretty sure that Lady Bullseye and Ox are wanted criminals, just saying, you should probably arrest them while you're here.

That's not the kind of mask Madame Masque wears, she'd never leave her mouth exposed

>This is the last time Night Thrasher will appear in that costume
RIP.

Here we see hos Ulysses can be useful, these guys were wanted criminals, and thanks to the visions they knew where they would be.

Aw, I thought from the cover that that was Rom in the middle.

You're gonna be too busy being in jail and then doing a roadtrip across America to keep an eye on anyone Clint

Yeah, the way the heroes treat this murderous mob boss isn't right!
#KingpinLivesMatter

>They prevent us from being eaten by Galactus and other shit but they don't care about us

They Night Thrasher's costume?

Maybe they were just in the area?

>4 minutes
Man, Turk and Fisk must talk really really slowly

SAVAGE
And he's absolutely right.

Yeah, ungrateful civilians is one of my biggest pet-peeves, and the fact that he thinks Fisk is a good guy only makes it worse.

...

I'm pretty sure that Ulysses isn't omniscient, he doesn't see EVERY crime.
You're jumping to conclusions Fisk.

This art is... odd. I like it, though.
Thanks OP.

>Stilt-Man cameo
Also, how do you not know what Terrigen is? Watch the news you moron.

Sometimes, just being able to live isn't enough

I don't get this page, why does he see a Celestial?

What does he want then?

You're welcome

...

...

>"At the beginning of the Kree-Skrull War, millions of years ago in Earth time, the alien Kree established a station on the planet Uranus, a strategic position between the Kree and Skrull empires. Through their work at this station, they discovered that sentient life on nearby Earth had genetic potential invested in it by the alien Celestials. Intrigued, the Kree began to experiment on Earth's then-primitive Homo sapiens to produce the genetically advanced Inhuman race."

LOOK AT THESE FASCISTS! ARRESTING CRIMINALS FOR THINGS THEY ALREADY DID!

Sorry I'm so slow, internet's crappier than usual

...

Ox
Turk
Hammerhead
Lady Bullseye
Grotto
Fancy Dan
Jigsaw
Janus

Y'know, for the curious.

...

Probably the sort of hero who knows the neighborhood and deals with local shit while working with the community.

More Daredevil and less Avengers, is what I'm saying.

...

He could have asked Hawkeye then, he's a street-level hero that works with his community.

And Dante, for some reason.

I think it's OOC for Gladiator and Ghost to be here

Jigsaw's face is supposed to be fucked up, like a jigsaw puzzle, it's not perfect squares

Tombstone is now an albino Mr. Fish.

Why SHIELD? Isn't this the FBI's jurisdiction? Ah whatever.

A man would be called Gudmundsson. Respect my culture Marvel rreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Maybe his family's been in the US long enough that they just adopted the "dottir" version as a permanant family name.

He was there to stare a black cat's tits and there is no proof that he wasn't.

So, what's stopping Ryan from putting his family into protective custody the moment Fisk lets them go and then come back with a bunch of agents and arrest him? There's a reason threatening the lives of cop's families isn't a good idea.

Thanks OP, this is neat.

He's drawn that way in Power Man and Iron Fist too. I guess they want to remind people he's an albino black man.

Hawkeye doesn't even know the guy's name

>You can be my new Wesley

No one can seem to agree on how Ulysses' powers work

ywn have Wilson sensually wash your hands

>Kingpin defeating the Wizard with his bare hands
>Guns being a threat to Hydro-Man
Damnit editors, you should have told the artist to draw someone else for those scenes

Does it even matter?
By this point I'm just accepting whatever is needed for the story as long as it's entertaining.

>WAH WAH IT'S ALL THE HEROES FAULT
>WHY WON'T THEY LEAVE US CRIMINALS ALONE
>THE CITY IS BETTER THANKS TO US
Keep telling yourself that Fisk, you're the ill intent and you know it

I think the same thing happened in Superior Foes.

Hydro-Man is almost memetically idiotic.

Agreed, it may seem like I'm complaining, but it's just nitpicking for fun. I like this book.

I see Bushman regained his sanity.

Anyone know who the tied-up Devil girl(?) is, if they actually are an existing character?

Which is a shame, I've seen several writers use him as an effective threat since his powers are quite terrifying and hard to beat. Even BENDIS used him as a serious threat.

Who knew that gangsters could be anime fans?

Poor gangster, he was trying to be a bro by refusing to kill his friends

>Deadpool playing cards

>It's only Spider-Man and we have a dozen men
You're an idiot Janus

Kingpin just didn't feel like having a face in those last two panels, eh?

Must buy from the same place as Squirrel Girl.

>NO WESLE- I MEAN JANUS!

Maybe he thinks it's Miles.

I guess. But even then that would be very modern as taking your wife's name is pretty new. And giving your children the mothers name is also pretty non-standard.

That doesn't make it any better. Fodder are useless against any Spider-Person.
And Miles has Venom Blast.

Single mother?

> he weighs enough to mush a car flat

>Invisibility plus one hit ko attack
I'd be even more worried.

>I'M NOT FAT! IT'S ALL MUSCLE I SWEAR!

>The winner will always be the one that does not follow the rules
Um, sure, whatever that means.
Also, what did Vulure do to you Fisk?

I think you're in the wrong thread

'chillin wilson'

Man, Janus is kind of a schmuck.
And presumably Fisk means that the other groups lose because they put limitations on themselves?
