Shut up commie, and enjoy it.

Yes. I swear allegiance to the good people of America. Not the corrupt government etc.

KILL YOURSELF YOU PINKO FAGGOT

I pledge allegiance
to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the republic
for which it stands
one nation
under God
indivisible
with liberty and justice for all
amen

I liked the pledge before it had the
>under god
line.

I don't think I've ever said amen, though.

I see Cred Forums is still reeling from the cold war.

>communistic tier

>not PATRIOTIC

you have to go back

Commie detected.

it was started after the civil war to indoctrinate southerners and as a reminder and insult

The rest of the world certainly does.

You have to go back, Paco.

You swear allegiance to the country, not the government.

I owe allegiance to the constitution. Nothing more, nothing less.

So, physically the land?

Wait, that's real?
That's not just a meme?

>under God
that line was added to oppress you godless communist homosexuals

Do other countries not have patriotism? I know they have mcdonalds

Kill yourself commie nigger faggot

your post really, like, made me think

i didn't stand for the pledge in high school because it's 'rights for all' and i couldn't legally marry a guy. but i got over it when they forced everyone to let us a few months later. i couldn't give a shit about 'under god', don't believe it but it never bothered me

The Pledge of Allegiance is pretty awesome.

It stands for something; to say that you stand for a certain way to live - one of decency, humanity and reason.

The United States is a beacon of freedom in an insane world.

It feels wonderful.

How does it feel to be India's bitch?

RARE

Thanks dad, I love you too.

It's just a pledge to Liberty and the good of the republic.

You owe the government nothing. In fact the pledge, being an oath to the Constitution, is basically a promise you'll destroy a tyrannical government.

>MUH

Shut up. SHUT. UP.

>god bless america
that's only because jews are in control

cuckmerica

It is under God though,

Under your faith(or lack thereof), what do you have?
The land beneath your feet.

R A R E

And it's people

Definitely weird. If it's supposed to be such a sacred pledge, why must people (kids especially) be forced to take it over and over again?

As an exchange student during high school I found it a bit weird since we had nothing similar at home. Stood up during it but of course didn't say anything since I'm not a citizen of the US. Weird ass Russian fellow exchange student who always picked his ears in class did recite it, though.

It was created to sell American flags to classrooms.

>north korea tier?

Funny that you say that, I don't where I heard it but somewhere someone said that the only two countries that face a flag and do a pledge of allegiance are U.S. and North Korea. Also a few years ago I found this video and it really made me think.

Whoops, forgot to take off sage, didn't mean that for this thread.

fucking THIS

Matthew 5:33-37

“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’ But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil."

This is my favorite passage to point out to Conservative Christians.

>pic intensely related

Yep, some time ago I had the opportunity to see it first hand. Gave me the chills.
