It's a combination of a few things. First of all, CO should be an easy red state. We're not due to Boulder, Pueblo and Denver. Much like PA should be red, but Philly and Pittsburgh swing it.

CO Dems were big on Bernie Sander (With the exception of heavily Hispanic areas), Boulderfags were particularly enthusiastic about him, unsurprisingly.
