We do have personal Patron Saints depending on our name though, and we celebrate name-days. If your family is religious enough, they become as important as birthdays.

The Roman Empire almost fell in the Crisis of the Third Century when it was still pagan, and by the time of Constantine who made Christianity official, its life had been extended by about 150 years in the west and 1000 years in the east. The reason the west fell was because of Huns pushing the Germans into the border of the empire, who eventually sacked and conquered it. The only impact the Church had on that was preserving the order in cities and saving the ancient Greco-Roman texts in monasteries, and now for their hard work, 1500 years later you neo-pagan cucks blame them for the fall of the Empire (whose gods you don't even worship) while worshipping the literal cum-guzzling gods of the Germans that actually did destroy it.
