Used to be very liberal one of those "socialism is great" types. I went to college, got a job and realized how terrible some of things I believed in were. Basically a full 180. Well, to be honest, women isn't the problem, it's the saturation of the job market. If the entire male workforce was replaced by females and men stayed at home instead, the economy would keep running just the same (well, without factoring in jobs women can't do, but imagine they are equally capable). The problem arises when there are more workers than jobs and wages go down but production stays the same, thus lowering the purchasing power of the people without actually adding anything to the market. That's why the nuclear family is so important, it pretty much forces one of the spouses to not work. The only reason why individualism works today is because of the government intervention, it'd be impossible with a deregulated market.

Several. When I was really, really young (8 - 11 or so), my thought process was to be a centrist. My immediate family is moderately left-leaning, my extended family (including grandparents and cousins &c) were pretty right, and my solution to that was to mix and match what works from the left and what works from the right. Which, looking back, is pretty reasonable considering I really didn't know much about politics.

As I got older and entered middle school/high school, I became a pretty standard libertarian, and now I've descended into "anarcho-capitalist" territory, and am pretty satisfied with that. I'm sure as I learn more, it'll probably change, but I can't see myself really believing in much else.

The only changes now that I've noticed, are despising the left more and more, though I think they are getting worse and worse, anyway.
