I wouldn't go that far, but with a very small amount of effort we could change that.

Imagine what a house devoted to digital art would be capable of? We could start a renaissance of classical art. There is a huge amount of electronic waste that universities throw away that is perfectly functional. Just get a few tables, a few working desktops and then you got a 24/7 art collective workshop.

Being part of a collective would allow someone to add valuable work experience skills to a resume that would otherwise be blank.

Well the commune would be 100% voluntary to join/leave and you would know what you would be getting into before you moved in. It's not there's a boss and there is no way to force anyone to do anything. Even if the idea failed the NEETs would just be in the same place they were before.
