We're New Dealers, basically...

We're New Dealers, basically. We want a 21st Century New Deal to update the basic social contract to account for modern realities of labor, capital, and technology.

Where did our party go , lib-bros?

Brazil once raised its minimun wage by 100%. It went broke.

Don't you ever rank Teddy with those fucking scumbags.

You're socialist parasites.

Teddy was one of us faggot

goddamn bernie just looks like such a creepy old kike all the time

his face is untrustworthy

>We want a 21st Century New Deal to update the basic social contract to account for modern realities of labor, capital, and technology.
No you don't or you'd be a free market capitalist.
You're Communists.

Teddy was not a socialist.

USA has had some remarkable leaders. Truly the great men of the 20th century. Trump will be the next face in that mountain

>comparing bernie to either Roosevelt
Fucking kill yourself.

Why would I want to continue such a terrible legacy?
Teddy started a longstanding pattern of corporatism
FDR was drove the country to the bottom and became responsible for the largest war in human history
Both were rampant tyrants that would have like nothing more than to use the Constitution as toilet paper

Can someone photoshop that picture and replace Bernie by Trump and the caption with "The Great Deals" ?

>Where did our party go , lib-bros?

Someone said "racist" and all the true economic liberals went scurrying back to the Democrats.

It's hard to improve worker's wages, inequality of income, inequality of healthcare, the quality of public education and social services while allowing unlimited immigration.

Republicans constantly shit on the constitution m8

...

My new deal:

- Minorities (beaners, negroes) can stay in the USA as long as they contribute and - most importantly - don't racemix.
- Racemixing is punishable by death of both the parents and children.
- Kill all leftists -- this one is obvious.
- Leftist females can suck my dick, but then they have to go to the gas chamber as well.

More of course, but those are a few off the top of my head.

>lumping Teddy with those faggots
Fuck you m8.

>I don’t go so far as to think that the only good Indians are dead Indians, but I believe nine out of ten are, and I shouldn’t like to inquire too closely into the case of the tenth.

Cool, they're shit too
Teddy was a Republican, you know that, right?

Do people actually think the New Deal did anything to end the depression?

Which parts? Just curious

>Trust buster
>Corporatism
Pick one.

Fuck off you totalitarian piece of trash. The New Deal ruined millions of lives by both dramatically deepening and lengthening the Great Depression. And then cripple provoked a war with Japan and put people in concentration camps. Worst president ever by a wide margin.

Well, no. But by today's USA standards he was a crazy socialist.

>FDRoosevelt was a social dem
>Bernie is a social dem
???

Foreigners need to stop thinking that they know anything about American history.

>populist republican who speaks his mind
he was Trump desu

>But by today's USA standards he was a crazy socialist.
Not at all.

socialist faggots: WE WUZ BULL MOOSE N SHIIIET

Busted one trust for the sake of another, you mean.
Ever wonder why Standard Oil was broken up while Morgan's empire was untouched?
Rockefeller and Morgan were at each other's throats for decades, and Morgan happened to buy the man who had the gumption to step over the line and forcefully break up the business.

>Roosevelt received a large amount of money for the campaign from wealthy capitalists, such as Edward H. Harriman (the railroad tycoon), Henry C. Frick (the steel baron), and J.P. Morgan (the financial potentate of Wall Street). The wealthy capitalists and their friends contributed more than $2 million to Roosevelt's campaign.

Sorry to soil the romanticism of the "Square Deal"

>The great corporations which we have grown to speak of rather loosely as trusts are the creatures of the State, and the State not only has the right to control them, but it is duty bound to control them wherever the need of such control is shown.
>To permit every lawless capitalist, every law-defying corporation, to take any action, no matter how iniquitous, in the effort to secure an improper profit and to build up privilege, would be ruinous to the Republic and would mark the abandonment of the effort to secure in the industrial world the spirit of democratic fair dealing.

>lawless capitalist
>LAWLESS
Why are leaf posters so stupid?

He did it to fuck over Democrats. I fail to see your point.

>tax evasion in US isn't rampant

>punishing law breakers makes you a socialist
WE

WUZ

>government interference with private business is a right-wing position

ASSHOLES

I SWER

Your assertion is baseless.
I provided evidence to back my point, if you fail to see that TR was acting as Morgan's puppet then you're simply blind.
You're just trying to preserve the bullshit narrative of Roosevelt's altruism

New retards, same as the old retards.

Redpill

>government interference with private business is a right-wing position
Nobody suggested this. However, government regulation is not socialism and neither was Teddy. Why don't you faggots get a better historical figure?

OP is cucked so hard. Everyone knows Sanders Supporters are cucks or SJWs.

Berniecrats are rational economic leaning democrats tho , faggot

I told you why your point is retarded. Democrats always worked to undermine the American public. Fuck you and fuck off.

You gave no substance, and your defense here is nonsense. Just more baseless assertion.
What do Democrats have to do with this exchange? Roosevelt, a Republican, was bought by Morgan to break up a rival trust.
That is textbook corporatism, and blindly defending it only shows how ignorant you choose to be.

Roosevelt himself admitted that he only broke up Trusts which he considered "against the public good." Any Trust he considered a "public benefit" went untouched. Corporatism didn't die with Teddy, it merely changed forms.

>if you fail to see that TR was acting as Morgan's puppet then you're simply blind.

You provided one example, a series of events, and then strung them together with an extreme narrative. Teddy's reputation as a some sort of massive trust buster is indeed overblown, he only ever fully became populist as the Bull Moose candidate, but to say he became a puppet is extreme.

>Socialism

>tfw I'm pro-labor, against corporate cronyism, and want stronger regulation but don't fit in with leftists because I'm against faggot marriage, hate social "justice", and am pro-gun.

new dealers were commies, and they are just the normal democrat party now

Republicans were the liberals in early 1900s. You would identify with the Democratic Southern White Nationalists

>don't fit in with leftists

>pro-labor
>want stronger regulation

user, I have bad news for you..

This is bait, right?

My stances on social issues mean I can't get along with them. I'd get along with the Blue Dog Dems but they're long gone.
