A single load has about 300-500 million sperm cells in it and can be frozen indefinitely.
Eggs are much more valuable because they are a pain to retrieve and not as many willing donors. First of all they hit the woman donor with shock dose with hormones so she releases like 10 of them (one of the reasons why it's not recommended to have sex right afterwards), second of all you need to catch those cells. That's why good eggs can go for thousands of dollars.
