The Federal Govt (DOJ) only issues Use Immunity, not Transactional (Blanket) Immunity. But even at that, taking the 5th and not living up to the terms of the Immunity Agreement while in itself broke it, he may have gotten away with it with only a slap on the wrist because he was a little fish.

Friday he goes back as a Primary in the investigation, and if the Immunity is still there in any form or flavor, he better take it and sing like a songbird.

That's the rock and hard place situation. Anyone given Immunity is no angel to begin with. Immunity for testimony is more a way to avoid prosecution, or to have more serious charges dropped.

When he invoked the 5th, he may have had the Constitutional right to do so, but it was a direct violation of his Immunity Agreement, which is basically a contract. By doing so, he was in violation of the contract, and now there are grounds to nullify it.

But even under terms of his Immunity Agreement, acts not disclosed at the time of it's creation, or performed after it was signed, afe not covered by it. So all of the stuff he did after, the deletions, are felonies he is liable for.

And being in violation of the Agreement and pleading the 5th on his first appearance, he can now be compelled to testify, and face Contempt of Congress charges if he does not, and be jailed immediately, until he decides to start answering questions.

Courts have ruled that to answer any question beyond "what is your name", and other questions about the actual appearance, constitutes the waiving of the 5th for the entire session.

You are confusing the issue. The fifth amendment right against self incrimination encompasses alot of rights. Taking the stand only waives you right not to take the stand. The only reason this would be an issue is for cross examination. Once you take the stand, you have waived your right not to take the stand and must subject yourself to cross examination.

This is never really used in courts though as a defendant can still plead the fifth as soon as he takes the stand to be cross examined.

A bit of conjecture, yes. I'd also like to se the actual document. But Immunity Agreements are an actual physical Contract signed by both sides with specific terms and conditions. Voiding the terms by either side is like any other contract, and is grounds for voiding it.

The contract once written is reviewed for approval by a Judge before it is signed.

Like all contracts, a quid pro quo is expected. I will give you X, if you do Y. In this case, it was the DOJ will give you Immunity in exchange to you testifying before a Congressional Committee.
