Whatever happened to a good, hard tackle. Police shouldn't resort to drawing their guns as their first action when an offender is noncompliant. They had a very good chance to take him down when he was walking to his car.

Whether the shooting was justified is not clear yet as we don't have the full details.

Remember, noncompliance is not a reason for a police officer to shoot. The officer must believe that the perp is a danger to the general populace or the officer.
