The republicans admitted that without the DOJ and FBI they can do nothing of substance. The democrats tried to paint it all as partisan politics in an election year.

While it's true that congress cannot prosecute, it will not look good at all if they refuse to get Combetta on obstruction of justice charges despite the evidence.
