There's nothing inherently wrong with an atheistic society. The problem is that such a society would be very liberal, which would allow for the same rampant cultural degeneracy that plagues us today. Christianity, even if it is metaphysically incorrect, is an extremely useful tool for preventing degeneracy and keeping society morally upright.

I don't disagree that religion is likely needed to keep a non degenerate society from succumbing to degeneracy. However, being a non-believer does not exclude you from traditionalism or being more right wing. It's just, well, half the population has below average intelligence. So we can never really have nice things without there being some sort of authority over the general populace. And as long as it's not taken too far religion is far more bearable than an actual government.

An atheistic society would work without googles googling or SJWs virtue signaling all over the time. But anything would be better without that anyway.
