As far as the issue of racial "equality" I think their might be some cognitive differences, but I don't necessarily think they are drastic enough to explain, say the difference between blacks and whites in America. I see that as primarily an issue of cultural disfunction- glorification of criminality, breakdown of the family unit etc. Before the welfare state you could safely walk around even the poorest black areas at night. You sound like me a couple years ago. You're on the right track, but you have a little more digging to do. Particularly in regards to race. That's the toughest one to come to terms with on your path to having a rational ideology (*tips fedora*), because we've been so heavily indoctrinated with false notions of equality, and so often shamed for thoughts of racial differences, that the mere suggestion feels blasphemous.
For me, admitting that not all races are inherently equal was very similar to when I finally let go of my religious upbringing as a teenager. It's very difficult to do, as it's actually destroying a small part of your identity. It's even harder when your family and friends are going to ostracise and shame you if they find out your true beliefs. But your rational side will win out if you have any mental fortitude at all.

I know where you're coming from, my issue here would be that, to me and many others, acknowledging different races have different social traits (more prone to violence, for example) would directly lead to a hierarchy of upper and lesser civil races. I'm not above doing that, but I need hard evidence to support this as these aren't ideas just for myself, but ideas I'd present and defend it to people around me.
