What's Cred Forums's consensus on Aleksandr "Putin's Rasputin" Dugin and his Fourth Political Theory?
Gay
he is THE alt right
In what way?
He's beyond left and right.
Please.
No one else?
I like it
yes
Fourth Political Theory is great. Very much like North Korean Juche.
Basically an asshole, but because he's Russian somebody on Cred Forums will suck his dick.
But what if he as a canadian?
If you understand what he's saying (i.e. you have the proper knowledge of philosophy and theology) what he's doing is really good, and he's totally right.
I think I only just recently understood what he meant in 4PT, a few months after reading it. I was reading something about Heidegger's "being" as it relates to Christian theology and it clicked
I had an Ukrainian gf, degenerate family after their father died.
Kill that tatar shit before he lays eggs
Dugin is a wannabe
this guy is Putin's actual ideological inspiration
en.wikipedia.org
Putin had his remains exhumed, brought to Russia, held a state funeral for him with full honors and had the event prominently featured in a documentary about him on Russian TV a year or two ago
he also had the archive of his complete surviving works purchased from an American university where it was preserved and brought to Russia
what is it?
he says
liberalism bad
communism bad
national socialism bad
i think he's hinting at some identitarian movement.
which is nationalism.
his theory implies self determination => balkanization.
is it national-balkanization? lol
Pretty sure Cred Forums supports Ukraine.
Sort of. Though he also considers it notable that liberalism, communism and nazism failed because of being nihilist and thus based on one aspect of existence to the exclusion of all others (money, equality, race respectively, if I remember right)
sounds like bullshit to me.
russians want all their enemies to get on this retarded train and become puny states with a small population and no power.
He's actually in favour of superstates (I find this particular idea of his ridiculous)
Dugin is very religious, that's why.
Most people who really get into philosophy tend to end up that way
Dugin endorses godemperor Trump.

Can someone explain this to a retard?
It sounds like the core of his idea is to build a political structure around the failure of modernity to include real human beans, creating a shared identity by those who have been disenfranchised by modernity. Basically a MGToW for people that don't want to be solitary urbanites or dehumanized by technology.
So what is the answer then? Russo-Primitivism? A return to pre-Industrial values? As he said we are losing our culture, is 4th position the way to unify those people(specifically thinking of European) in an attempt to save our traditions and identity by rolling it back/taking a new course as a measure to prevent our people(nationalism?)?
Am i really going to have to read this vodkaniggers book? Help me out here...
its some weird shit. apparently this guy is putin's ideologue now
It is the ultimate rejection of nihilism and excessive skepticism. Reasonable, to say the least.
cowards way out, just like any other religion
Social signaling won't help you with this, I'm afraid.
Just to clarify what I mean by that...
>risky
>courageous
It's branding. How many times have you heard it being used to describe modern art, modern values, modern anything? I hear it all the time. As an argument, it is "current year" level.
