Why don't we just make it so we raise the minimum wage to 15 dollars based on the size of a corporation so outlier small businesses don't get fucked?
what is the republican argument against this?

You gotta give it to the slavs, they definitely made communism last a lot longer than the chinks or spics

Minimum wage doesn't work or make sense.

Would have lasted long if Tito had a fucking heir to the thro- I mean, if Tito tutored a selection of worthy successors!

Supply and demand.

Burger flippers won't make $15 for flipping burgers.

because MegaToiletCleanersCorp (who employ 10,000 toilet cleaners @ $15 p/h) then instantly becomes, for wage administration purposes, 1000xMiniToiletCleanersCorps, each employing 10 Cleaners @ $5 p/h.

Theres a bit of overhead in running a conglomerate of 'small' firms, opposed to one large one. Not $100,000 _per hour_ worth of overhead tho. Like most things, the only (fair) way minimum wage works would be across the board - even then, still be full of loopholes.

free markets, faggot

Because that shit is shit easy to get around, case in point:

> contractors
> franchises
> subsidiaries

Plus a bunch of small businesses paying shit wages with shit selection and management fucks over society at large.

>mass producing armaments somehow contributes to the average person's welfare

The only thing the USSR did well was education and housing/jobs for the poor. Nothing else.

It's actually normal that the GDP crashes and inflation skyrockets in communist to capitalist countries. Romania had a 600% inflation after the revolution in 1989

this is literally how they did it in seattle

only ones who get fucked are franchise owners

small businesses have like a gorillion years to really offer 15/hr

workers will flock for the better minimum wage giving large businesses first pic of the workforce

leaving small businesses with niggers and mexicans

Literally no one is proposing this.

Making it illegal to earn a wage under an arbitrary amount won't do shit to fix your problems. If you want to make more money, learn a skill that requires more effort than flexing your arm to flip burgers, which is something that literally any non-retarded toddler could do. Seriously, there are so many skills you could learn for free that would pretty much guarantee a good paying job in that relevant trade. No formal education required.

Also scientific research.

Its a better idea, but Wallmart sized companies have a bigger lobby than Ma and Pa stores, so they will demand that the minimum wage would affect everyone. And in doing so, kill the little companies you intended to save in the first place.

The only argument against it is that due to legistlation kikery, the larger corporations will probably loophole out of it, the smaller companies will be made to pay for it nevertheless.

Still, better than minimum wage is to restrict immigration and let wages rise through increased demand for workforce.

>source: soviet statisticians

you're basically the obama leaf for soviets right now

I think part of the reason the USSR collapsed was because oil prices collapsed, and with it the inefficiencies of the system became instantly impossible to sustain.

Why dont we just jenk it so we jenk the jenkum jenk on the size of the jenkum.

Muh free markets with muh invisible hand, where we do free trade to give away for nothing all the shit I made. And all with fiat moni too. Aren't I the smartest

>seattle
Monthly rent for 900 Sqf in NORMAL area
$1,697

lol 40 hours a week at 15 per, after taxes is $1,680 a month

its almost like cost of living rose to meet arbitrary price floors

The minimum wage is the most anti-poor law in existence, how can people get on the job training to lead them into a career path if their productivity actively costs more money than the company makes by hiring them?
This is why you have mass unemployment right here.

>And all with fiat moni too.
free market advocates are about bitcoin now, grandpa

>The minimum wage is the most anti-poor law in existence

You might think that but you'd be incorrect. The minimum wage increases cost of living across the board. Raising it also leads to more inflation.

they ran out of other people's money
