Personally, I don't see why a clump of non-sentient, non-feeling cells should be considered a person and have any more rights than any other clump of cells should. Even if you believe that a fetus is a complete person from the second of conception, you still have to acknowledge that the main reason people get abortions is because they can't afford to raise a child, so then you often have an impoverished family with a low quality of life and a financial drain on the community, and for what purpose? Many people who are dogmatic about it seem to think of it as some type of punishment for the woman to be forced to give birth and be responsible for an act that inherently requires two people, yet never seem to give a shit about the quality of life and cost of caring (which ends up often the burden of society) for that "punishment".

I do think that women who get many abortions should just be sterilized though. If you're abusing something that is there for public good that many people find extremely offensive then you should just have your tubes tied.

Can I really do whatever I want? Morally speaking: NO. Practically speaking: YES. Fetus relies on the mother so much, that if mother wants to kill *herself* (which is also banned by the law (sic!)), she will also kill her baby (unless it is hospitalized). So, by this rhetoric I assume, that mother owns the baby (that's why I'm pro this statement). And now the only question is: does the mother obeys the same moral law we do?
