Thanks for the advice, it's something I think about a lot. No matter what, I know I won't be in school for very long, ideally I'd like to not have to go to college at all but that seems risky.

If your goal in life is to be a good mother (and hopefully a good wife), which is best accomplished without also needing to be a wage slave, then there's not a lot to be gained by going to college (compared with the downsides). You'll almost certainly have to look outside your age group to find a good man who can support you and your children, but it should certainly be possible.

You have a good point and I would be lying if I said that I don't think about it often. I've certainly flipflopped between wanting kids and not wanting kids numerous times throughout my adult life.

One strong consideration, as I'm sure you're keenly aware, is that it's incredibly risky (divorce, custody, etc.) to get married and have a family nowadays. Sure it's possible to not get fucked as many men manage to do, but it's by no means a sure thing.

I often struggle with what I said earlier about bringing up children in a world I don't like. On one hand, I think it's selfish to bring children into the world when I have spent so many of my years unhappy and resenting being born. On the other hand, the only real purpose we have in life is to reproduce and choosing not do so, because it's burdensome, is also selfish.

If my IQ were 30 points lower, I wouldn't even consider anything I wrote above and would crank out children like most average/below-average people manage to do in great numbers. But that is not who I am.
