How is not believing in god rejecting tradition? The mere profession of the belief in god is an evidence of "tradition", liberation theology cucks who genuinely and wholeheartedly believe in God are more "traditional" than someone who sees the value of tradition and pursues a as much as possible traditional lifestyle while not necessarily believing in the existence of God. I don't see nationalism as inherently rightist. Look at Soviet Russia for example. Highly nationalistic with state imposed atheism but their worldview was inherently liberal.
