If capitalism is so efficient, why does anyone die of diseases that have a cure?

If capitalism is so efficient, why does anyone die of diseases that have a cure?

I mean, we have the medicine and we have the sick people. Capitalism just can't get the medicine to the sick people.

Capitalism has outlived its usefulness.

i think you mean retardation not capitalism

Nice fridge op.

>If Socialism is so efficient, why does anyone die of starvation?

>I mean, they have the food, and they have the hungry people. Socialism just can't get the food to the hungry people.

>Socialism has outlived its usefulness.

Infectious disease with a cure is cured now. Pathologies like obesity, alcoholism, smoking and doing other stupid shit have a cost effective cure already. Quit. Some cancers don't have a cure yet. Some people are genetically disposed to disease. Culling the herd is the cure.We just don't use it.

Because people aren't a very valuable commodity.

What are you even talking about? What curable diseases?

capitalism is pretty effecient desu

Amazon and dominos off the top of my head are making huge leaps and bounds for customer satisfaction.

Because of demand, we now have a lot of customer support coming back from India to the states.

Only when you live in shitholes like USA that have no universal healthcare.
>get cancer in USA
>pay 300.000$ für treatment
>get cancer in Germany
>treatment is free

>why does anyone die of diseases that have a cure?
Like what?

Yeah I forgot that in germany chemotherapy drugs just appear out of the aether

You fucking retarded faggot

wtf I love merkel now

>talking shit about capitalism
>with those tits posted.

why are you kidding yourself?

>Have a serious illness in Europe that isn't a cold or a generic treatment
>get put on a wait list for months

at least in the states our hospitals are god-tier

>don't get cancer
>pay 3000.000 in healthcare taxes for people that do over your lifetime
> ;^)

>not knowing about vaccines
Yeah, you're a genius, wow. wtf I hate capitalism now

I bet you think companies have a cure for cancer but don't sell it because they make more money from treating it?

Fucking moron. KYS

>keeping people alive no matter what is efficient
Capitalism BTFO I guess...

How do you think a company comes up with a price for it's drug? It takes tons of money and investment to create one drug, they have to recoup that plus make a profit. That profit incentive has driven the creation of countless new drugs and medicines.

What kind of retarded shit is this? Where is the argument?

Totally agree hans. Fuck this country's insurance companies, hosptial "non-profits", doctors, medical schools, MBAs that run the hospitals, janitors who work at hospitals, fuck them too.

There is cures for tons of shit, but in the USA the medicare company's don't sell it because it would put them out of business.

Aren't you guys getting overwhelmed with TB and other third world diseases at the moment?

>I mean, we have the medicine and we have the sick people. Capitalism just can't get the medicine to the sick people.
Capitalism gets the medicine to plenty of sick people, more than any other form of government. If you believe otherwise then leave the capitalist countries and see for yourself.

Perfectly said.

/thread

I don't know. Its almost like (((Someone))) heavily involved in the industry is inherently selfish or something.

>IM14ANDTHISISDEEP!!!!!!!!

>>get put on a wait list for months
Nope. I had a serious pneumoni a few years ago and got very good treatment on day 1 in the hospital and stayed there for 2 weeks for FREE.

Yeah, Islam

you're talking about dominos i'm talking about healthcare. stick to the point.

people are more important than money. money as a concept was created to help people not the other way around.

name a single important drug that was created because of profit motive

Depends on which country you're talking about.

That's true you moron.

Ibuprofen.

go back to your liberal arts college

You're a fucking idiot. Pharma companies and public research institutions are constantly trying to one up eachother on cancer drugs

>why does anyone die of diseases that have a cure?
Typically they don't.

Nice meme.
>US hospitals are god tier
Oh you mean the places where people have to pay obscene amounts of money for a bag of saline solution? Where it's common to get false diagnoses of phimosis in infants just so their can be a profit made off cutting off part of the penis?

Nah, bro, every 15 year old that first learns of the profit motive is right: cancer cures are suppressed because existing treatments are more profitable. It's not like the first company to patent an actual cure to cancer would be able to virtually print money or anything.

>a 15 year old's first post
Awww...

If If LeBron is the Chosen One, why doesn't everyone have a girlfriend?

I mean, we have even more girls than men and men want sex. Lebron just can't get the pussy to the penis people.

Lebron has failed us.

Look at the difference between Haiti and Cuba. Then try saying how great capitalism is.

Not an argument.

>create concept of money to help people
>act inefficiently and lose money
>nobody can be helped
>woooooow

We don't have a capitalist system.

Yeah I'm sure cuba being 10% black and haiti being 95% black has nothing to do with it

>le blame le niggers
Nice red herring.
Compare El Salvador with Cuba then.

>I read a book so my opinion is true.
Two can play that game.

if communism and socialism is so efficient then why do people die of starvation?

Your post seems to negate the fact that every human action has a cost (monetary and not). So you first have to produce the medicine. What happens next is up to the producer: to either donate it or to rightfuly charge a price for it. Donations are noble, but do you think people will just produce for free all the time? Or that another system can negate this economic fact?

socialism is not the antonym of capitalism.

fairly big government can bring cures to whom fairly big capitalism market failed to assign.
it is all about balance.
why do people want to go full socialism or full capitalism or full free market or full globalism?
ideological constructivism sucks whether it's communism or capitalism.
conservative opportunism is the most based ideology.

If Communism is so efficient why do people starve to death when there is food?

we have 7.4 billion people user

you better earn your place in society

Because medicine is actually a really inefficient way to deal with health issues. Excluding vaccines, triggered anti-vaxxers keep it to yourself, even if it does cause autism it's still an effective tool at preventing illness

Anyway, capitalism produces medical supplies, medicine, etc, but what you really need to make meaningful improvements in health are gains in the public sector, not private.

Why? Because, until you solve problems like sanitation, nutrition, education, population control, and control disease vectors, medicine is just shoveling water out of a boat with a hole in it. Fighting communicable diseases with clinical medication and treatments is a losing battle if you haven't drastically reduced the need for them in first place. If someone is bleeding out, you can keep putting bandages on them, but if you don't close up the wound first, you are doing it wrong.

Capitalism could and sometimes IS actually making improvements here, but that only occurs when there is a way for market forces to get a return on investment for improving health, without that coming from clinical medicine/healthcare. This occurs when some market force is able to invest in the development of a country/city/whatever and needs either health or productivity to go up to see a return on investment, in either case, improving the aforementioned categories becomes an option on where to direct development funds.

This usually doesn't happen for a number of political, but mostly logistical reasons. The most common route this comes in is when a very rich and powerful group invests in the currency of a country and can influence public policy to direct the funds toward projects which would raise health/productivity allowing the investor to see a return on investment. I believe this has actually been achieved in a few areas of the world, but off the top of my head I'm not sure. I know the topic has been written about before and I am loosely paraphrasing from various papers on the subject

Capitalism is working like it should. Sometimes it's more efficient to let people die than to help them. Anyways, we should in general not keep sick people alive because it destroys the gene pool. Just let darwinism take its course.

>not be a pussy and join military. free or cheap healthcare at va.... cuck

why people have to die for gene or nature or future or whatever?
just fuck it.

>third world diseases
Yes, a lot of muslim refugees

...

which diseases with cures are you talking about?

you're so based senpai one of the first time i've actually seen someone on pol i agree with. thank you for this.

Nice ad homs

Nice argument. Have you read the book? Pharmaceutical companies try to squeeze as much money out of cancer patients as possible. You can't just say "W-well theres competition in the filed between better performing drugs" and make that any less true. Theres a profit motive to people being sick, and an entire industry which depends on sickness. There are inherent flaws in capitalism just like every other economic system.

Haven't heard of anyone starving to death in Norway recently... what about you?

You don't fucking get it. If someone came up with a legit straight up cure for cancer, which there isn't and never could be because "cancer" is a fucking lot of different diseases, they would become one of the most wealthy people to ever exist.

this cunt hair has definitely peaked

>get cancer in USA
>pay 300.000$ für treatment

Yes fur treatment isn't covered by any insurance companies. Not looking like a fox isn't a legitimate medical condition.

>They would become one of the most wealth people to ever exist
>He doesn;t include the profit structure to a theoretical cure to cancer

If he actually wanted to cure cancer, which in itself is virtually impossible, its not going to to be inexpensive and will be a restricted market for the elite in the beginning just like the cure for AIDS was. You don't just get rich from creating the cure, its how you implement it, that's how our current medical bureaucracy works.

As my grandmammy once said: "if it aint white, it aint right"

wtf i love socialism now

You seem like you know what you're talkng about. Answer me this, how do you get the rice to not fall apart in sushi?

>have superpower on doorstep for decades
>other superpower prevents your total raping
>great now i saved a bunch of money free tampons for everyone!

Eat shit faggot

>Darwinism
Remove the laws and police so I can come and take your shit nigger

It's called Google: worldlifeexpectancy.com/cause-of-death/malnutrition/by-country/

>muh autism vaccines

rice itself is sticky.

After cooking they add a seasoning to the rice which is a mixture of salt, sugar and rice wine vinegar, the rice absorbs the vinegar leaving the dissolved sugar which sticks.

Makes my two neurons jiggle

Before you can have socialism, you have to exterminate all non-whites.

sumeshi is sticky enough.
if you fail to get it together, maybe your rice is dried up too much.

>basically, let the sick die
this is your brain on capitalism

This is your brain on fascism and capitalism

The better alternative being....?

Different kind of rice, nip rice is a lot stickier in general(more gluten?)

Buy Californian rice pls

How did you get that from what I wrote?

Now compare them both with Lichtenstein.

>EVERY COUNTRY CAN SHOULD BE A TAX DODGE HAVEN!!

Is it true there was no homelessness or unemployment in east germany?
