Because it is right thing to do

1) To brainwash western people through the RT, that Putin is not so bad, as he fights ISIS

2) To stop Nato doing the things, like they have done to Gaddafi. Putin doesn't want such as and for himself

To help Assad take on the rebel terrorists.

I think its because it is better to have assad in power than to have no one in power. If assad is gone...theres only allahu ackbar ahmeds left.

Putin should just kill all the sand niggers and annex syria. fuck it

One major strategic reason:
If Syria ends up like Lybia or Iraq terrorism will spread like a wildfire. Iran is next. Iran is a major factor and ally of Russia to keep terrorism in check. Russia is surrounded by countries with a large muslim population.

Because they don't want another lybia on their doorstep and the want to run a gas pipeline to Europe increasing their control of Europe's energy blocking Qatar/Saudi,s attempt to replace them as Europe's main supply

the story is simple, assad is the enemy of france, chirac wanted him out of lebanon, and an independent lebanon, but assad was too greedy he killed the indepent lebanon representative, and he ruled lebanon again.

meanwhile russia who was communist country, had agreements and was allied with many dictators, in maghreb and middle east.
now if france can get rid of assad she can rule the middle east with the USA.

but russia already has agreements with assad and stuff, meaning that if assad gets killed all the contracts russia has will be burnt.

it's all about money, oil, and strategical missile bases tu put pressure on OPEP countries.

a story as olf as humankind, all about greed.

Is that a Canadian soldier?

0.15$ has been deposited into your account

I think that guy is related to this guy.

sry for shit english, im half asleep

this

Russias not invading Syria, the legitimate government asked for its assistance. The united states is illegally operating in a sovereign country and helping terrorists to further its geopolitical ally's intrests (see isreal)

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_naval_facility_in_Tartus

Also to block Saudi Arabia and Qatar from building oil pipelines to Europe.

Natural gas pipelines

>muh terrorism
>muh legitimate government

u all bluepilled as fuck

These. It also helps that Syria provides Russia with a warm-water port.

Mainly because we have our military base in Tartus which is if I recall correctly the last one in a country that isn't in ex USSR area. Whichever government comes after the current one they shall happily kick it out in no time.

Another reason is Assad buying our weapons.

And for now any opposition government will be soudy-oriented which means we're losing our last ally in that region and hence America gains one more.

If Syria becomes another home for sunni jihadism that may have negative internal impact since many militants are from russian areas like Dagestan and Chechnya and from surrounding muslim countries like Tajikistan. The latter is especially crucial as no one even knows how many immigrants from those countries are currently hanging here, but it is obvious there are more than five millions and I myself can confirm they are everywhere, so if they receive an order from ISIS or whoever they follow stating they have to start jihad we're in deep ass.

I'd say that is enough.

>the story is simple, assad is the enemy of france, chirac wanted him out of lebanon, and an independent lebanon
If Chirac was so after lebanese independence he should get out of that country at first and try his best to make Israel do so. Lebanon used to be part of Syria for a long time, so no surprise syrians had their interests there, mainly disallowing Israel and collaborators to slaughter their shia brothers.

Correct
Russia would rather influence the middle east than america and a lot of time and money goes into making people think otherwise

Among other things, one of the major reasons was to have an exercise in military logistics - quickly deploying a base overseas. An exercise in waging war overseas, intensive use of airforce, cruise missiles, not typical for Russia, therefore valuable experience.

Turkey downing a plane, creating an excuse to deploy anti-air systems was the cherry on the cake.

Guess in whose territory are all the remaining Christians and churches.

The people in ukraine ousted yanukovich because he would rather crony up to putin than enter the country into the european union

Geopolitical power projection

>Syria is a Russian ally
>Syria buys military gear off Russia
>Obama is a faggot
>We can police world too burgers

because Assad is the good guy who is trying to save his country from American terrorists

Do you even know how to use this meme?

because assad is their stooge and they want an ally on the med.

why do you think china backs up north korea?

Faggot

To be thought as a world power after all the disappointing events (as in removal from G8 and so on).

Because it's Syria's ally

You are the faggot doe. He is completely right

>Brainwashing
>ISIS is just (((Brainwashing))) you into hating them

Russia is trying to gain influence and leverage in Syria so it can persuade European countries and the US to ease on the sanctions for Ukraine.

A nice side effect is that Russia can at will increase the amount of refugees fleeing from syria into europe by managing where rebels can go/get pushed towards.

It also gives Russia prestige because they are one of the few countries (if not the only one) except the US capable of conducting military operations over seas without uncle sam's help and that they also support their allies (Syria)

Because Assad is allied with the Russians.

Russia doesn't want to lose another allied government in the ME because it will just make Russia even weaker on the geopolitical stage.

Also, the West wants an oil pipeline to go through Syria and if that happens then Europe would not have to depend on Russia for oil.

So basically Russia is supporting Assad for their own benefit just like we want Assad gone for our own benefit.

Welcome to geopolitical warfare.

Russia is pretty fucking close to Syria.

I wouldn't consider that equal to military force projection as the United States...

How did toppling Saddam and Gaddafi work out for you you dumb cunt?

Oh right it only created more terrorism, led to the rise of ISIS, the refugee crisis, wasted trillions of dollars, and turned both of them into even worse shithole than they already were.

If you get rid of Assad, Al Qaeda will be empowered, and it will be worse for everyone: Russia, the West and the Syrians who will have to live in a Sharia-dictated shithole.

Go suck more Jew cock, burger.

>Redpill me, why is Russia invaded in Syria and helping Assad?
1). Russia did not invade Syria, it was invited by the lawful government to help against "moderate terrorists".

2). It were the western globalists who invaded Syria, after they invaded and destroyed Iraq, Lybia, and tried to overthrow governments of Egypt and Turkey.

3). The globalists depose progressive (for the Middle East, that is) dictators to put Al Quaeda, Al Nusra, ISIS and other terrorists in their stead. They do so as proxies of Israel, so it wouldn't have any powerful rival states in the region while establishing Greater Israel.

4). Their other goal is to empower terrorist organizations in the region and explode other countries, including Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and others. When terrorists take them over, they can infiltrate and attack Russia and eventually China as western globalists' proxies. The globalists probably think this way Russia and China won't nuke the west, and besides, guerilla war tactics that the terrorists use allows for the war to last indefinitely, weakening the victims, dissecting them and genociding their people for decades or even centuries.

5). Russia doesn't want to be invaded and continuously genocided by the western globalists' terrorist proxies. Neither does China and Iran. So they support the lawful gov. of Assad in Syria against the west's terrorist proxies. Russia even agreed to land military aid to the Syrian government against the terrorists supported by the west.

True, the power the US can project over seas has no equal. The US Navy as of now has enough power to take on the rest of the world combined.

But don't forget that Russia main weapons and supplies transportation to Syria are via Sea and not land, this makes a huge difference in logistics specially for mostly landlocked countries

Having active military bases in war theatres in foreign countries is also something to note.

...

to protect its sphere of influence and show of the west that russian military is capable.

Funny how when American politicians brag about spreading democracy they never mention its democratic socialism mixed with cultural Marxism. Antony Sutton wrote a book about it.

Read 1984. Perpetual war.

>muh gas pipelines
Don't see any in Syria. U bluepilled as fuck.

>invaded
they were officially invited by the legitimate government, well within their mandate to do so and the russkies obliged

you must be thinking of the uninvited/invading ones that are others who are bombing SAA and arming moderate beheaders, mainly burgers, kikes and t*rkroaches

Because the US is supplying ISIS.
see:

>invaded
It's US and its """allies""" who invaded Syria and bomb a sovereign country without a UN resolution to further their own interests in the region. Russia was invited by the legitimate elected government to help quench the influx of US sponsored Islamic terrorists.

>he thinks one country could be invaded only by one country

You're a fucking retard.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qatar-Turkey_pipeline

Right, Syria was invaded by the air force of multiple Western countries, as well as by Turkey directly on the ground and Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel supporting the terrorists by weapon shipments, money and intelligence.
