When I first read the headline about how the dude was waiting for his daughter and was only reading a book, I was heartbroken and angry at the police. As I read more FACTS, I realized the defense is full of shit. When the lawyer of the family gave MULTIPLE HYPOTHETICAL REASONS why the wife said "don't do it!" (because obviously the truth is not on his side), I became angry. FOR FUCKS SAKE A BLACK PROTESTER DIED BECAUSE OF THIS SHIT. Yet, it seems everyone believes that this is some huge white supremacy police conspiracy, even though HOLY SHIT THE GUY WHO SHOT HIM WAS BLACK AND THE POLICE CHIEF IS ALSO BLACK. All the evidence the police department is giving is being dismissed as fake. The fact that the dude had a history of violence, and his wife said about a year ago that he had a gun, is being dismissed as demonization. I don't know if I want to live anymore.
