Leave it to Cred Forums to plug their ears and say they're right when even science is against them. Something needs to be done.

It's okay because capitalism will thrive when major cities go underwater and immigrants get fast tracked.

They said the polar icecaps would be gone by 2013.

yeah but if we produce less it just means that other less efficient nations will produce more and probably pollute much more than we would

same issue in the past when we tried to regulate our own industries more than china

>CLEAN UP OUR POLLUTION YOU STUPID MILLENIALS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>Something needs to be done.
Create a global nuclear energy movement and get the biggest polluters (like China) to invest in nuclear plants. You will have guaranteed long term benefits.

Anything less, and there's literally nothing you can do
>slow production
Yeah, let's get rid off jobs and slow third world countries even more from catching up to us.
>clean energy
hahahahahaha hahahaa ha good luck with that

HERE COMES YOUR DAILY DOSE OF REDPILLS CTR

One of the first things you learn in statistics is that correlation =/= causation.

And if you're referring to the tweet Trump made in 2012 before he ran for president, it's a joke, a painfully obvious joke.

>nuclear energy

The Chinese are already investing heavily in nuclear facilities, in fact. Within the next 20 years they will have more state-of-the-art nuclear facilities than any other country in the world.

Yes. Nuclear energy.

That chart doesn't mean anything and the point of it is dumb. It's not a matter of frogs and beetles.

The true redpill about climate change is this:
It's effects are largely unpredictable. Global average temperatures raise, but this causes strange weather and disturbs otherwise predictable cycles.

Climate change isn't inherently bad (or inherently good); it's merely change. Some of it is bad (like ocean levels rising, for example), some will have neutral effects (like the inevitable increase in plant-life).

The reason why the effects are largely unpredictable is because it's a fundamental change from unimaginably complex systems. Climate change hysteria is really annoying, although it WOULD be better to try and keep the earth and its systems as predictable as possible. It's too bad people associate the free market with climate destruction, because the free market would probably come up with a solution once it got really close to being destructive.

We have this thread several times a day. When will Cred Forums learn?

I can't stand these meme infographics, people can't do their research like adults

I guess they serve the purpose of getting normies who don't really care to support it though.

It really is the only way. Human attention span and all that shit.
