A homoerotic system filled wit Manley's and bears.

Free market. Bilbo had all that gold but he never had to share it with the village.

no niggers, and so they lived in peace.

Sorry "political",
-legal weed
-free market
-weapons allowed
libertarian.

Hobbits - one of the most "politically advanced" peoples of Middle-earth, George W. Bush would have praised them. Shire issued by Tolkien as the idyllic area, where as if there are no power, but we can say that the form of government in this country - democracy. Ruler Shira is elected every seven years - apparently universal suffrage or delivery advice. His primary duty - to preside at banquets, in addition, he commanded the post and a dozen shirriffov (police). At the same time real power was soon in the hands of community leaders. East of the Brandywine ruled Brendibeki, universal respect enjoyed Tukov race, whose head became Thane - the leader of the militia. In general, by their nature, Hobbits do not particularly need to someone they ran. This explains the rejection of Otto Lyakoshel-Baggins, who aspired to power.
I google translated this, no bully pls.

Gas the Dwarves race war now!

It almost sounds like a functioning stateless society.

Read Tolkien's thoughts on anarchism.

"My political opinions lean more and more to Anarchy (philosophically understood, meaning abolition of control not whiskered men with bombs) – or to ‘unconstitutional’ Monarchy."

"...the most improper job of any man, even saints (who at any rate were at least unwilling to take it on), is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity."

Heaven

They had no standing army and relied on Eriador soldiers to protect them.

I'd say anarchy but they were very tribalistic as well.

They were very reliant on clans and listening to their elders.

Their pretty much pygmys if pygmys were white and had pre industrial technology..

Light rural feudalism.

LOTR isn't actually all that great as a political allegory though, because Tolkien was rewriting older themes (brought up earlier in the 19th/20th centuries too) from a deliberately Eternal Anglo/philosemitic angle.

So the feudalism and/or financial wheeling-dealing that would underpin the Shire is whitewashed, and the "English rural class" presented as being autocthonous in their manners, culture, and economic organisation, which is bullshit.

This is also actually a plausible theory, and an apt description of the fantastical "naturalness" of the Shire's political/social system.

>When you refuse a wizard and twelve dwarves entry into your private property but they convince you to travel along the non-existent roads to violate a dragon's NAP property rights

they were pretty much just a big family, so they're tribal. They seem idyllic but they would never attain their tecnology and social peace level alone, unless they were part of a much larger, complex society and then detached themselves, much like the Amish

Hobbiton had a 'mayor' who elected his successor. They also had a council of elders.

It was a small village of relatively well off, complacent white people, the government probably consisted of throwing dinners once a week for the whole down and arranging festivals

sure the hobbits have a beautiful living space and egalitarian society, but why is it so hideously halfling? hobbitton needs to do more to help underprivileged races such as goblins and urak-hai who have been driven into slums and mines by gondor racism

Same as Switzerland.

Hands up: who would fuck a hobbit woman?

Fucking northern terrirsins

Go back to Tasmania

Communism

This

>mfw Hobbits got Saruman and his men killed because they interrupted their NAP.

They did not violate the NAP, because Smaug did not own the treasure he was hoarding. He stole it from the dwarves after genociding them.

The dwarves kinda violated the NAP by invading Bilbos home and eating (stealing) his food tho.

round doors are as retarded as it gets. imagine tripping over that damn bottom edge while carrying 50 pounds of burgers.

Tribalism/democratic socialism

/thread

And yeah hobbits have a pretty libertarian society with a minarchist government at most. They don't have a standing military, there doesn't seem to be any public services, and everything they do appears to be voluntary.

Tolkien wrote his books with the intention of there not being any allegory.
However I suppose it's an minarchist society that follows feudal law.

...

Now I want to write a fanfic about that.

Very ableist too, how are you supposed to drive your scooter through there?

The reason why it's minarchist is because the only real position of authority or some form of government is the mayor of Michel Delving, who only organised the police and the postal service.

The result of a homogenous society where everyone can trust each other. No different groups vying for power or favors. Just people living their lives.

>democratic socialism
No, that was Saruman's regime.

what's worse than the scouring of the shire is that humanophobes expected it to happen #IStandWithSackville-Baggins

How was Sarumans regime democratic socialism?

>gf is Portuguese
Already am, desu.

Saruman was more like absolute monarchy

Wouldn't call him a monarch.
He was more like a straight up warlord.

racial homogenous libertiarinism.
Everyone did their thing, no king, no real government except the very local level, people helped each other.
Frodo was a orphan, but he didnt end up in a government run orphanage or lived in some poor family who took him to get "mo money from dem programs" but he lived with his bachelor uncle.

Anarcho-monarchist. Tolkein himself espouses that ideology in a letter to his son.
Basically, there's a figurehead who does nothing (in Hobbiton, it's the Mayor at Michel Delving, who in turn is the representative of the High King at Fornost), while the actual day to day society is utter freedom tempered with strong familial obligations.
It's basically paradise, and the sort of political system whites would be able to attain if we weren't so burdened by Jews and niggers.
