I like your points leaf. However I disagree with the GDP growth statement. I'm not sure what to think of 2.2% GDP growth. While there are some industrializing nations able to achieve 5% year over year GDP growth, the vast majority of historical empires were between 1% and 1.5% GDP growth. At 2.2% real GDP would double in 32 years.

I think you can't lay the GDP gains to Obama in this scenario. What clearly happened was a market correction from the 2008 recession and a return to historical mean growth figures. You can evidence this by looking at a graph of US GDP over 50 years and cutting out 2006-2009. It really just looks like we continued forward. That would suggest that the President and his policies was not a significant figure to market corrections. With that said, it's really difficult to know if his policies helped or hurt the market correct at a natural speed.

What this does say is that 2.2% GDP growth is nothing to be proud of. It would have likely done that well anyway.

Unemployment by definition revolves around people who don't have work but are looking for work.

So Obama could have led to more homeless people not looking for work anymore and that would have decreased the unemployment rate.
