Why would anyone want manufacturing jobs back in the US?

Why would anyone want manufacturing jobs back in the US?

Are you ready to work 60 hours for $100/month, like machinists in Pakistan do?

Why are you concerned for jobs in America, Ahmed?

...

ME LIKEY DRUMPF COCK. PLEASE GIB ME DRUMPF COCK.

I'm not sure you know how American wages work. Factory jobs in Canada pay $18/hr usually and offer 40-60 hours. You would be bringing in $3kish a month after taxes. I see absolutely nothing wrong with manufacturing jobs being brought back.

its better than having 90 million on government assistance.

>liberals pretending to care about the working class again

Blut und Eisen! Gott erhalte Kaiser Karl!

Typical leaf post

Fuck off faggot, you give us a bad name.

I'm genuinely interested in what drives people.

It's not like my own life will change much over an US election.

If shit hits the fan you IT fags will wish you had some skills in building/crafting

(((They))) will increase wages or die.

The only way to reliably keep jews and other corporate scum in line is to threaten to butcher them and their bloodlines down to the last if they disobey. If they attempt to move, our intelligence agency will capture and return them, making their deaths even more painful.

The jew must obey our rule, not the other way around.

>inb4 leaf

Proxy.

sure, like unions will ever let that happen...

>I can't into economics, the thread

Republicans are generally behind on futuristic technologies, they just aren't up to date on what's coming.

Most manufacturing jobs will be gone over the coming decade due to robotic automation. All the morons who want the jobs back from China will find out that in a few years those jobs will be gone completely. Trump has no vision for America beyond 2020, he's still stuck in the Reagan era of dick sucking thinking the 1950s will return once again.

It's a pipe dream lead by people who have no idea what's going on.

Until then I'll make so much dollar I can just buy a wife online and have her clean the house

Blood and Iron

>Why do you want jobs?

Jesus H christ man

Low IQs need work because they're too simple or too aggressive for service jobs.

>(((They))) will increase wages or die.

Sounds like something Marx could've included in his manifesto.

Nobody gives a shit about manufacturing jobs, least of all Trump, but they can't just flat out come out and say "we want tax cuts for the rich and we'll abuse people's stupidity/sexism to get elected", so they fabricated some faggot ass sob story narrative about how jobs left the country because of the big mean democrats to appear more legit.

good 1 leaf u rly stumpfd drumpf

nice thread OP

Which unions, user?
The same unions that failed to even adjust the minimum wage to inflation in the US?

It's simple, Mohammad Frankfurter.

We're not a shit country like Pakistan, we'd be able to pay our workers right for these jobs.

TRUMP is retarded.

America is producing more now than it ever has.

Most manufacturing is gone forever. Not because of lower wage jobs in other countries, but because of robots

Good question
Crickets

That's something I also believe in, that automation had the larger impact on our working classes than globalization did.

I have no clue what to do about it either. There are only so much IT and robotics jobs to do.

you wanna know how i know you're a city boy, boy?

Haha rekt.

Niggers working hard jobs make them too tired for crime, and also stimulates the economy. Taking manufacturing out of black communities was a mistake.

HAHAHA

Germany confirmed for getting rekt in 3 world wars in a row

But there's not a single Fortune 100 CEO supporting Trump, user. Big banks are for Hillary, big business is for Hillary.

...

>this advancement in technology will be different than every other advancement in technology in the history of civilization

>I'm not sure you know how American wages work. Factory jobs in Canada pay $18/hr usually and offer 40-60 hours.

The key to this is that the manufacturing jobs be of high value. We don't need garment factories in America, or any other sweatshop producing McCrap. We need to build automobiles (and nice ones), aircraft, electronics, etc.

More like the 19$ I make right out of a 22 week certification course.

t. CNC Machinist

ROUND THREE BABY

The jobs are generally monotonous but the money is usually great. May want to get back to your daily ass ramming cuck.

But high-quality goods don't mean high-quality jobs, user.

The technically impressive and sturdy iStuffs are manufactured by slaves in China. Cause everyone can glue things together.

I'm ready for full automatization yes.
I'm ready to pay more for a product that doesn't break down after 1 year of use too.

low testerone detected

This is only partially true, production will for some time require a level of hands on validation even in automation conditions.
In addition, the investment in automation is not minor, production happens at all levels, bringing those facilities, revenues, and jobs back on-shore provides a potential boom for the economy.
The job numbers are of course exaggerated, but the prospect of the production occurring here, using low to mid level wage employees is a welcome one.

you know that there still powerdrill made in swiss in 2016?

Also incorrect.

Those jobs are far from slave level, these jobs are a growth point for millions of people, getting them off the rice farm and into the city. Yes, they live in dorms, and work alot of hours, but 1 of these kids (17-25yr olds) is making more than their whole family on the farm. They send money back, save their money, progress their life. Also, it is not simpleton work, and it is not easy to integrate the production lines.

ref. I set up production lines in China for consumer and automotive electronics products.

>implying only 3rd world countries have manufacturing

Japan has it, Taiwan has it, South Korea has it

>Why are manufacturing jobs important?

What a dumbass.

He doesn't even know economics.

Manufacturing jobs are Highly skilled, highly paid jobs.

That means that you will be making a shit ton of money.

Look at the Chinese.

Why do you think they are so rich?

Stop believing the lies against China, they are wealthy beyond belief.

USA is poor, all thanks to the gutting of our manufactuing sector.

All we have are LOW PAYING, LOW SKILLED jobs.

We are already getting paid $100/month at 60 hours.

Why do you think all the NIGGERS are asking for a $15 dollar an hour wage?

Because we are already broke.

We need our jobs back, we need our manufacturing sector back.

Barely. Japs and gooks produce most of their shit in the DMZ and slap "made in Korea" on it

Better than no work

Capitalism gave birth to mega corporations.

And from mega corporations will give us Socialism.

Strange ain't it? Just look at how powerful Amazon has become in the last 5 years. They're getting their hands on literally everything they can find, and soon it'll be infrastructure such as homes, cars, and perhaps even roads.

When a corporation reaches that magnitude of power they'll inevitably automate their jobs away leaving us poor and unable to buy their produces. In order for them to maintain their power average Joe Lunchbucket will need money.

Through automation Amazon will become a trillion dollar company over the next 15 years, and you can expect them being taxed in order to provide back to the public.

The future of society will result in a few mega corporations providing a basic universal income, along with basic housing and food.

Most jobs will be automated anyway, regardless of where the manufacturing happens.

Yeah, and cars in Germany.

Impressive stuff, indicating prices ain't everything.

Once this happens, there will be no need to produce abroad and keep unnecessary logistics costs.

The US has the second largest manufacturing out put in the world

>The future of society will result in a few mega corporations providing a basic universal income, along with basic housing and food

I also believe that this is what is going to happen, people and companies keep getting bigger and bigger until they are no longer only about business but also about control, and politics (see Monsanto, Nestle)

Hope these corporations don't turn out to be too evil

What is the average income in China?
According to CNN's online global wage calculator, which uses data from the International Labor Organization, the average annual salary of a worker in China's private sector was 28,752 yuan (about $4,755) in 2012, or 38% of the global average.

Okay, I'm glad to hear that. It may be true for some employees and it's better than the rice farm.

What I'm saying is that these people don't get American salaries and American benefits (health care, retirement).

Look at the places manufacturing used to be in america before and after. Even if the people on this board don't get these jobs, it would improve the entire country.

once you subtract the Chinese oligarchy class, the average chink is poorer than an average Romanian

>The future of society will result in a few mega corporations providing a basic universal income, along with basic housing and food.

Sounds as dystopian as it sounds Utopian.
I want to feel like I'm earning the things I own.

What you're describing is still not what's happening, by the way. Taxes in the US are at an post-WW2 low.

>Capitalism gave birth to mega corporations.
No. Big Government gave birth to Big Corporations. They had to grow big to survive on top. They had to lobby like a fucker to direct the ever-increasing legislature their way.

Global corporations are a child of socialist policy.

Apple someday might join in along with Google as well.

Expect to see these corporations having "Life Packages" where we have different tiers of living provided by them. Some packages might offer small living spaces, but will give you better options and mobility for autonomous transportation and flexibility with moving, and perhaps health care.

Some of your friends & family might have different corporate care givers depending on where they live. Each company competing to provide the best possible standard of living for free, but you'll have to use their products and services.

>Global corporations are a child of socialist policy.
Remember the times when Soviet Union corporations exported all over the world?

Yeah?

Me neither.

the US has already shifted too far to a service economy to switch imo.

As time goes on more and more industries will succumb to automation.

Driverless cars and tractor trailers-things of that nature. Machines will almost certainly eventually be able to diagnose diseases better than doctors in the near future.

I don't think focusing on manufacturing is as important as Trump makes it out to be.

Soon the only secure jobs will be creating and maintaining the robots or writing code for them.

Until someone creates a robot to do that

Yes, but they don't take into account is the fact that they devalue their currency, since every world currency is pegged to the dollar.

That means that while the number is low, relative to our inflation rate, it's very high for them because their currency is under valued.

If they would stop devaluing their currency, the Yuan would rise much higher, and so their purchasing power is much stronger than what you believe.

Just take a look at the wealth in China, there is a reason why Peter Schiff or Donald Trump are amazed at how rich they truly are:

youtube.com/watch?v=CSCmc6ezllU

You say that like it's something bad.
Media will soothe their pain as usual, they'll work hard and they'll honestly believe that they are treated fairly.

I mean, a century ago we shot the tzar for better workers' conditions than the US had at the time. Their press started the communist scare and kept them under control.

If it's not a sudden contrast in time/pay, they won't even notice.

>devalue their currency,
How are they doing so?

Imagine a future where corporations are so powerful that they end up creating their own city states.

Amazon for example dominates Seattle, they quite literally make up a large portion of the wealth now. Amazon even gave money the city to expand roads and improve their infrastructure to create better access to their headquarters.

Now imagine that on not only a city level, but a regional level as well.

Isn't the high number of billionaires because of their high population? The average Chinese is still not as well off as the average American.

...

>not knowing the power of supply chains

Fuck off kid

dont drag us in your shit show.
also why would we work as machinists when we all can just steel those H1B IT jobs.
let americans be the machinists. they are ones that want manufacturing jobs.

I've seen a reportage about a factory producing discounted clothes in your hell hole of a country. The one that burned, with over 300 people dying.

Here:

youtube.com/watch?v=kewkIwIbLAw

It gets technical, but it's a great explanation on China's Yuan Currency.

No, we are broke.

The average Chinese citizen is much more wealthy than we are.

During the 90's this wasn't true.

But 20 years later, China is now number 1.

Look at everything they produce:

Everything is Made in China.

Have you seen something that says: "Made in America"?

Doesn't happen anymore.

We don't produce anything anymore, it's very rare.

The lie that China is poor is a myth that circulated during the 90's, it just isn't the case anymore.

The USA is poor by comparison.

cause you need a country that builds shit, social media is only going to do so much

Manufacturing jobs are so fucking shitty, and i'm not necessarily talking about the pay. I'm talking about the fact that people live their lives as a fucking robot near a moving belt having their soul getting sucked away under artificial lighting. It's probably as bad as an office job sitting down all day long doing something a software program can easily replace.

Trump has never worked a manufacturing job before so it's no wonder he doesn't mind those coming back. Well they're not coming back, it's a dying pipe dream of the Americans wanting 1955 back.

>60 hours for $100/month
I thought Germany had good schools, what kind of retardedness is this?

The US has an industrial output per capita 4 times larger than that of China.
Thanks, I'll watch it.

But you're delusional if you think the Chines e have it better than you.

This is the reality in Pakistan

textile business is dead here.
you can't have sweat shops in pakiland and there is a huge problem with electricity so westren comapnies have moved them to bangladesh and india.

Good maybe we can finish the job this time

nop. the minimum wage is $220/month.

>tfw living in Googletopia and going out on ranging parties to kill Apple fags

youtube.com/watch?v=x2P9cMc-QLI

>Better than you.

Well, if you mean that Americans don't work as hard as the Chinese.

You are right.

If you mean the Chinese actually bust their ass working on MANUFACTURING things, while all we do is CONSUME.

You are right.

In many ways, you are right.

Americans have it much easier.

All we do is buy the things the Chinese produce.

They are the ones busting their ass building things.

But if you think that makes us richer, you are wrong.

We are poor and broke.

And when the world wakes up to the reality that America is broke, and we can't pay back our debts, that is the day they will drop the US dollar as the World Reserve Currency, and China and Russia will be included as the World Currencies.

Already China has more Gold than we could ever dream of.

why does a tailor in south asia make 100 a month but a waiter in the west makes that in 2 days

youtube.com/watch?v=BT5L4YU_Fl4

What is labor laws

>thinks IT jobs = a bunch of autists sitting on a desk helping people with their IT issues all day while making 25/hour
>working in Cyber security
>tfw you already lost the war, even when shit hits the fan

>manufacturing jobs = manual jobs

fucking retard

manufacturing jobs nowadays means automation techs and engineers

Entry lvl manufacturing jobs pay 10-12 dollars an hour in the USA, that's 2k a month. We need them back

because fuck the jews

leafs have the worst sense of humor

WHO THIRD WORLD HERE?

Blood and Iron because Germany simply cant get a good leader for good people.

I honest don't see the point. Many manufacturing jobs are low-skilled, jobs that will be automated sooner or later. Politicians should be far more concerned with automation.

As a """""German""""" why do you care? Afraid a glut of jobs will make it harder to correct the Record?

cnc machinist programmer/designer master race here.. kys faget
