Think of the space the archives take up then consider how many screenshots are used. If it is truly quality someone will cap it while the thread is active.
As for merging boards some board don't need to exist. One example /asp/ just let wrestle fags have a thread a week on Cred Forums

It doesn't have to be much or anything. I don't know if you're familiar with forgotten weapons, but I really appreciate his philosophy with patreon.
Don't put things behind paywalls and ask for a small donation from a large pool of people to help cover things to ensure we can continue to have content.
In this case it would be basically the platform we are helping to keep afloat, which is why I don't have a problem purchasing a pass. There shouldn't be anything behind a paywall, but if there are little perks I don't see a problem.

The pass was also one of his ideas. More people buying them would help solve the problem he also considered extra perks with passes. Which I think is what the pass4since option is for. We need to be careful their though and not create the meme of gold accounts.

1) Enable donations. Websites like reddit, wikipedia, etc, live off donations. There is no reason you can't do the same for Cred Forums.
2) Delete the archives. We do not need them, there are plenty of websites out there who are already doing this job very well like desuarchive.org etc. Keeping the archives is just a waste of server space.
3) If it comes to it, delete the porn boards :
