I disagree. Those three boys need to get an attorney NOW. The attorney will get someone to do the legwork, and will have the access to find out the ins-and-outs of the organization that is listed on the poster. I saw this same thing in University of _______ in Canada, back in 2007. Sponsored by a group called "Anti-Racist Action".

They put posters up all over campus on bulletin boards with the picture of a female student, and then alleged underneath merely that she associated with racists and white supremacists, not even that she was one herself.

At the bottom it asked people who saw her, to "point, laugh, and ridicule her".

I immediately did what any self-respecting person would do: I removed the poster without damaging it and went to the students union office and asked for an appointment to speak with the person in charge of managing the bulletin boards. I sat in a waiting room for 45 minutes, and was invited into an office to speak to a pale, dark-haired woman with square-frame glasses who was, I suppose in charge of such things.

I handed the poster to her and explained that, while I hate Nazis as much as the next guy, this was an incitement to harassment that was not only against university policy, but which could potentially expose the university, and the students union, to civil litigation.

The dark-haired lady examined the document with no expression, and replied that I was correct, and that she would see to it that the posters were removed.

I thanked her for her time, shook her hand, and remarked on leaving that the group responsible, "Anti-Racist Action" was known for such actions, and had close ties to several student organizations on campus.

When I came to school two days later, the posters had been removed, and I never saw any like them ever posted again while I was there.

This was in 2006. I wonder what would happen today...

2) Taylor Wright types the email address of the organization responsible for the poster into Kikebook and comes up with the name Jared Anderson

3) Meanwhile, anons in the thread are sending shitposts to the email address and signing them up for spam and jobs as gay porno actors

4) One user writes out a long email explaining the poster, the university's rules, etc. and sends it to news organizations and officials at Penn State

5) It turns out Jared Anderson is not connected with the email on the poster. In fact, he appears to be a Trump supporter

6) It turns out we misidentified the university as well. The poster was from Portland State University, not Penn State university. This was confirmed when an uncensored version of the poster was discovered on the Facebook account of one of the students appearing on the poster.

tl;dr: We spammed the right email address, but almost harassed the wrong guy. And that long-ass email that user wrote went to the wrong university.

It's not as bad as it could have been. The email that we've been spamming is 100% the correct one; it appeared on the poster.

We did misidentify Jared Anderson, but I do not believe that he was doxxed or harassed. An user posted some pictures from his FB page, and that's about it.

Whoever wrote that long email sent it to officials at the wrong university, though.

So it was a fuckup, but not the kind that actually caused anyone any damage (except for the university officials who might be confused).
