Firearms were recorded with the microphone WAY too close to the source, resulting in that heavily compressed "pop" that bears no resemblance to real life gunfire. The pitch shifting on the vehicle engines also sounds horrible.

That's exactly what I expected Mafia 3 to be but so much for that! Instead we get this hot mess which shouldn't even have the Mafia name attached to it.

It should have been more along the lines of GTA V and Hitman, perhaps some Sopranos style or Casino elements for the setting and story. It could also have taken some ideas from LA Noire in terms of the narrative and interaction with other npcs. Granted Mafia 2 wasn't great but it did some things right and it had the foundation to improve on for the 3rd game, however they went in a completely different direction and now I have zero interest in the game.

I'm a big fan of the Yakuza series and I'll be preordering Yakuza 0 after enjoying Yakuza 5 on the PS3. No SJW bullshit in these games it's just pure action, fun and immersion its gaming at its best. I am also a fan of Dead Rising as it has a similar feel to it.

I agree with Witcher 3 the character voice overs can break the immersion sometimes, it's a game I enjoyed and I'll look out for the Cyberpunk game from CD Projekt in the future.
