You wouldn't immediately draw your weapon in these situations, you'd be brandishing. You could easily get away from the situation instead of drawing. This is "you're in a fight for your life" situations where you have no choice but to stand your ground, which is what this law is designed for. This is an immediate response to a life threatening situation. Even then, the use of deadly force is only warranted when risk of life is realistic.
