For most working people (lower two brackets) Federal Tax is 15-20.5% taken right away as income tax by the federal government.
Then another 4-20% depending on your province.
You're also paying CPP/QPP, EI and PPIP.
And then when you you pay up to 15% sales tax and other fees.
Richfags pay even more in income tax of course.
We pay taxes out the ass you ignorant limey fuck.

The company I work for has stopped doing any business in Canada (we perform technical service work and provide training). Due to idiosyncrasies with the tax codes, if we send an American employee to Canada we will be charged approximately 50% corporate Canadian income tax on the gross revenue for the project, before any American taxes on the net profit.
