CICERO! ME OL' COCK

Not there

...

First for cleo's cunny.

>First
Well I admire your optimism.

For me, it's Augustus Caesar.

Augustus is genuinely one of the most kino historical figures ever IMO

very gaullish looking centurion

For me? It's Lucius Aelius Aurelius Commodus Augustus Herculeus Romanus Exsuperatorius Amazonius Invictus Felix Pius!

Also very important. When you couple with her there’s this spot just above her cunny. It’s like a button. Now, attend to that button and she will open up like a flower.

the sex scene with him and that dark haired woman was the hottest one i saw growing up, luckily i was watching it alone

HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS OF HER

Why was Vorenus such a sperg?

He was a stoic, the ideal Roman.

He was literally a cuck.

A cuck is someone who knows that their wife is cheating.

How can I learn oratory with Roman gestures?

I watch the newsreader compilation at least once a day.

>Glorious Caesar.... FOLLOWS!

Would be a great job to have

For me? It's Jupiter's Cock!

>ywn have a great slave like posca

wrong

He bled for Rome, his father bled for Rome, he is as Roman as anyone.

SHE WAS A WAIFU OF ROME

>very good

There are even those unwise men who say that repeating digits in a northern quadrant are neither indicant, nor negation!
>Such are the barbarous innovations of our day...
>Yes...barbarous

nope.

Pullo is best boi?

...

Not him but it seems you're mistaking the historical meaning of the term with the fetish. You can cuckold a man without his knowledge, it's just that some cuckolds get off on knowing.

based Atia

>You can cuckold a man without his knowledge
No, you can't. You're thinking of adultery. A cuckold is a husband who allows an adulterer to be his wife.

ATIA OF THE JULII I CALL FOR JUSTICE

The term comes from the cuckoo bird. The victim bird whose nest was infested by a cuckoo bird would not know until the offspring were hatched. Deception has always been implied.

worst plotline with worst character

For me, it's Boobus Pusho

Boobius Seizure

...

>ywn be as valued and respected for your loyal and diligent service, marrying a cute merchant's-daughter and retiring in comfort as Posca did

Didnt she get naked?

The meaning of the word has changed because most dont read, its like asking what the difference between 1st 2nd and 3rd world countries.

She was gangraped by the aventine boys before she married posca.

>user! user! watch rome it's ebyn quinoa!
>whitewashed mary sue caesar
>almost entirely made up servilia plot
>octavia diametrically opposed to her real self
>turbo edgy cleopatra out of a capeshit movie
>forty-something cato played by a 60 year old
>fuckton of important campains omitted
>parthian campaign literally for 10 seconds on screen while cleopatra's parties take half an hour
>mighty augustus played by the whitest most celt-looking sickly boipucci around
>nobody even bothered to drop their brit accents

What other B-tier schlock for illiterate plebs did Cred Forums trick you into watching, user?

I don't remember that

basically every man in Rome was a cuck then, because they married for social and political positioning and all had affairs outside of the marriage.

this is incorrect actually

When the aventine gangs are sent to kill brutus and cassius' allies her father is one of them. Right after she runs to octavia's house screaming and saying they dishonored her.

...

she probably liked it, she was always going to orgies

he's not wrong, that was how the term was used in england back in the day

Nice

can someone please explain the "for me it's ..." meme. What is the origin?

I thought Colin Quinn was who it's for me! Or Katie Cummings! I don't understand!

When you say it like that you make them sound like a group of naughty children

This board isn't for you friendowitcz

For me? It's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwhich

For me? It's Colin Quinn, the comedian's comedian

...

yes he is.

OP Faggotus, I have a question concerning your friend and co-consul-- the darling of Reddit, Crosspostius GoBackToRedditus.
Why does his criticism remain empty? Why does he not go to bed? His illegal shitposting is over. Cred Forums is long since on its knees. Why does this crossposter keep his brave shitposters from their hotpockets and juice boxes? For eight long years, he has gorged himself like a wolf on the replies of feeders, and thereby made himself monstrously rich with (you)s. Why?
Why does he ply the mob with racebaits and fights and gaudy nitpicks? Why has he given a (you) to every crossposting fool in this Rome general? Why?! I'll tell you why he does these things. He wants to buy himself a Cred Forums pass.
He wants to destroy Rome threads and rule Cred Forums as a bloody Redditor! That's why! Therefore, I move that this crossposting shitposter's IP address be terminated immediately, that his Cred Forums pass be disbanded and that he be recalled to Cred Forums.org/banned to answer charges of illegal shitposting, meme theft, underage, and baiting!

kek

Nah, your argument hinges on autistically using the etymology of a word instead of looking at the actual use of it.

...

>20-20 post
>quads
reddit BTFO

In Children of Dune, Irulan and Chani use it in conversation to imply Paul would be unknowing of her adultery. Therefore the use matches the etymology. If a bloke is cheated on he has been cuckolded, knowing or not. It's only been in the past few years the fetishistic use has overtaken the more universal use. The commonality is that it's often used derisively, such as calling Dale a cuckold on King of the Hill or the willing 'cucks' of the soyboy numale chumps of today.

it was always used when it was known by everyone that the wife was an adulterer.

>that time he called Antony a cuck

Everyone but the betrayed in many cases.

mirin

lmao you're saying that Cred Forums teenagers and porn fetishists are the LESS autistic people and define the normie use?

Sorry fag, you're retarded. This word has existed for a long time in other contexts. Not just in obscure things, either. Popular culture youtube.com/watch?v=GPYX2leLoaQ

I wanted a show with Octavian as the protagonist. More scenes with Octavian and Caesar would be nice too

made me chuckle out loud

Season 2 had way too many scenes with her and atia. Also there those vorenus family scenes were awful.

I like how he went from listening to his mother to humiliating her.

X/X

>brags aboutt his father marching with Sulla.
>says Caesar is a traitor once they cross the rubicon
Vorenus please

To be fair, Vorenus is a hypocrite throughout the series.

Very good user, full of vim and verve as usual

Nice

Was so happy to see her raped and beaten and killed. Stupid bitch

Crab legs

...

Over one hundred posts in and not a single Octavia pic. I am disappointed.

She didn't get raped.... did she?

for like hours dude atia paid the horse jew to torture the fuck out if her and he in turn paid guys to rape her. Then that's when he drew the line with helping atia anymore

Where is this from?

one of atias slaves? i vaguely remember he tries to poison her and gets caught.
>that poor qt kitchen slut

I mean what is the title of the movie this still is from

For some reason that name always reminds me of a guy pulling his dick out early during a porn shoot

...

>that poor qt kitchen slut

>ywn just walk up to the first shepherd girl you see on the march to rome and blast a load in her

is Rome worth going out of my way to watch? will the historical inaccuracies kill a history-autist like myself, or is it really faithful?

Just finished season one. Absolutely worth watching.

its the only history based tv show worth watching

cack

Sulla crossed the rubicon to bring order back to Rome though and he actually gave the power back to the Senate and put in all kinds of laws to make sure no one man will ever rule Rome again so it makes sense that as a Sulla supporter Vorenus does not want to see another Dictator for life.

holy fucking lol

The early wafts of what makes current HBO type shows awful are there but the high points more than make up for it. You probably won't be happy with it if you're a super autist, but then again I don't think any show will ever be made that satisfies those types. Worth watching the first few episodes to see if you'll like it far more than other shows regardless though.

i'm trying to find a good pedo off everyone's favorite site but the quality is total ass. is there a good alternate way somewhere? too broke to get HBO just for Rome (which I may not even like)

tig ol' bitties

did she died?

Based Roman dubs

...

Marvelous

fuck octavian looks like he'd struggle benching 40kg

>>nobody even bothered to drop their brit accents
What accents do you propose?

I really hate this complaint, it makes no sense. Characters have accents which we as a modern English speaking audience will instantly understand the characters background from. Aristocrats speak in Posh British, street urchins need to sound like cockney people, foreigners like the Greek Posca need to sound Greek. If they all just had Italian accents then so much characterisation would be lost. And American accents are awful in anything classical, sorry.

lifting is for plebs

Pretty clever. If you made that you're right to be pleased with it.

historians think he looked like a faggot anyway. the reason he became emperor was because 1. he was related to Caesar (not even by blood) and 2. he was incredibly intelligent -- like IQ of 160 intelligent. he was a shit general but an incredibly able all-around leader.

>they nailed Pompey's hair
this is the shit i come here for lads
my dick is diamonds

Pompey's hair gave you a stiffy?

more the historical accuracy. but sure if you want to put it that way

He can order his legions bench for him anyway

i certainly enjoy a good pullo over his tight arse

this this so fucking much. The whole "why do the french aristocrats in assasins creed speak in a britsh accent. Hwy dot they al speak like horny french tourists?" is the dumbest complaint ever.

Couldn't have said it better. People who make this argument are beyond retarded.

the Assassin's Creed comparison is pretty shitty though. no one speaks Latin anymore. to be honest, no one *really* knows what classical spoken (or even vulgar) Latin sounded like, since even if we used the correct pronunciation (i.e. not church Latin) we would still have residual shit left over from our native language. it's like the video all over YouTube from some Polish TV show that everyone claims is an accurate portrayal of what real Latin sounded like, but it just sounds like some Slavs saying random gibberish because their accents are so thick.

meanwhile Napoleon died a little under 200 years ago and the French he spoke (funnily enough with a massive Corsican accent) was not very different from modern French at all.

but autism aside, i agree with you and the user you replied to

>Hwy dot

lmao

more like cack

based

Who was Best Girl, and why was it Octavia?

based hag

>it actually fits perfectly
fvcking kek

You know that Shakespeare uses the term to describe a man whose wife cheats on him right? You didn't just learn about it from Cred Forums memes about porn?

>ywn have a beautiful germanic slave to rub oil on your naked body

why even live

brfother fucking whore

eirene was top waifu, Jocasta was funny though

it has more in line with essence of historical accuracy and interpretation than any other major modern history show. They're so many details that people miss on first or second watching but I was listening to audio commentary and detail that put into the funerary scenes alone outstrips many of these faux history fiction shows combined.

Why don't they revived it bros

they could easily do it like nothing has changed

He became caesar's son at 18. He went on to become one of the best statesman, the western world has ever produced. He was surrounded by some of most famous people Rome ever produced while he did this. At 18. Go look at most 18 year old's today and think about that.

>18 years old
>Already conquer the known world

Just like one of my chinese cartoons

He reminded me so much of pic related. He spent the series listening and learning from those more experienced, only to eventually overcome them, and everyone from Antony to Cicero thought they could control him. Plus he had weird lizard eyes.

This. He was a literally for 18 years and then became the sole ruler of Rome and the biggest man in the history of mankind before turning 30. You can talk shit about Augustus all you want but no one will ever outshine this man. He is like Alexander the great only that Augustus actually ruled his empire for over 50 years and actually managed to figure out a way to make it live long after he was dead.

What makes it even more impressive is that like our politics, we tend to view older men more favorably in terms of leadership quality than the younger. So he had that much more working against him.

From making sure the will wasn't broken to surviving more militarily capable people like Anthony.

You grieve me, Cred Forums. You grieve me deeply

I need more season of this show with more Vorenus and Anthony relationship.

"It's been an honor serving with you sir"

Would you get a stiffy if a slave oiled you up and srubbed all the dirt off your naked body Cred Forums?

>tfw I jvst finished watching the series tonight

What to do now? I've been binging this and playing Rome Total War. Any other good Ancient Roman series or kino?

TRVE ROMAN BREAD FOR TRVE ROMANS

no. you're dumb and wrong.

Nope, I made that a couple years ago and it’s been reposted a lot. Sometimes you spend 9000 hours in Microsoft paint and something just clicks

Originally a cuckold was a man who raised another man's child that also came from his wife.

this thread is still alive?

wtf I made this yesterday and posted it on reddit.

Have you played Europa barbarorum I for Rome tw?
Don't bother with the one for medieval II because it's shit

>medieval II because it's shit

no it's not.

Julius Caesar's Correspondence on AudioBook

You don't need to be some academic /lit/ patrician to enjoy it, Caesar wrote his stuff to be consumed by plebs, so we'd all get a kick out of it

The guy is a really good writer on top of everything else, there is a brevity to it which is very impressive, barely a word is wasted

He showed his dick in altered carbon too.
Purefoy is pretty proud of it isn't he.

These journals are why we know Caesar was a genius. Hitler doesn’t have shit on his persuasiveness.

what was that slave doing?

How could vorenus even tell which soldier had gone out of formation?

Every legionary has an assigned spot. If they’re not in that spot at all times, they’re AWOL. Romans were INCREDIBLY strict about maintaining formation, they simply did not tolerate wannabe heroes.

Julius Ceasar was black, Europeans white washed history.

Based vorenus. I really wish we had seen at least ONE fucking fight scene longer than 2 minutes.

>Thankfully I'm yet to be a nigger.

Didn't mind Capaldi's interpretation.

I bet you blacken your eyes like a prostitute.

I want to be his friend and back him up in a fight even though he probably started it.

Is season 2 worth watching? i dont want to ruin the closure that season 1 give me

For me? It's Last living Scipio!

despite rushed content, I still love it. Pullo's and vorenuses interactions are 100 times better than season 1

>"Your wife has sex with other men, you are a cuckold."
Explain how the man doesn't know in that situation.

Worth it to see "TESTUDO!!"in action.

what's better: spartacus or rome?

spartacus is plebian

Rome is Patrician

Cred Forums really does have the memes

Only worst because she didn't even commit suicide IRL

...

Rome is great
Andy Spartacus is great
The other Spartacus is meh

Anyone seen I cladious

if this isn't pasta put me in the screencap

His speech declaring Caesar a public enemy of Rome was adorable. How he was scared at first and then forced himself to make a tough voice, then by the end of it he sat down and was sweating bricks and hyperventilating, dude acted that perfectly.

wow you're such a huge faggot holy shit

Why does she play a turboslut in every seres? Luther, Rome, GoT.

why do Rome worshippers never spell plebeian properly? and no, it's not interchangeable.
